Welcome to The Sunny Cove Cottage located on the sunny side of the cove!
Our direct lakefront cottage features an open concept kitchen, dining and living area with large windows overlooking the lake. There are three bedrooms on the second floor with a half bath.
The Sunny Cove Cottage is an updated cottage, which provides you all amenities you will need, but keeps the charm and character of a lake cottage.
Outside you will find dock space for one boat or jet ski and two decks overlooking the lake with seating. Our yard is only five steps down from the driveaway, is mostly enclosed by fencing and is flat...perfect for lawn games.

Winter Girls Weekend

The home was beautiful, light and bright. The back wall of windows gave unobstructed views of the winter lake. We enjoyed watching the ice fishermen, skaters and folks just walking on the frozen lake. The beds were super comfortable and the house was beautifully appointed. We would love to return next year

Wonderful Weekend on the Lake

I had a great stay. The house was as described and very well equipped. The views are magnificent and I had a very relaxing weekend. I’m sure it’s different in the summer with a lot more people around but it was very quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely stay again.

Lovely home on the lake

Wonderful home right on Coventry lake. Provided a vacation-like setting while visiting our daughters who are attending UConn. The calming lake setting provided a great backdrop for morning coffee or sunset cocktails.

Perfect stay

We visited for a Much needed weekend away in December before the holidays. It was everything we needed. The view was beautiful. I can’t even imagine how great it must be in the summer. The owners are very responsive throughout.

Soooooo Nice

We came up for a basketball game at Uconn. We absolutely loved this place. The lake is beautiful and it was a short drive to the campus! Host were very accommodating and responsive. Cleanest short term rental I've ever stayed in! I could also only imagine how great this place would be in the summer!

Open format with a lovely view

Very clean and we really enjoyed the big deck . Nice to have kitchen and living room joined for an entertaining space as we had relatives over for dinner. A little weird to have main bathroom off the kitchen on main floor and half bath upstairs with the bedrooms - but that would not stop us from staying in this pretty property again.

Perfection

The house was exactly what was advertised and what we needed. The view of the lake was outstanding! The lake view bedroom was so peaceful!!! The host was so easy to get in touch with and her reply was very quick. The kitchen was well stocked and the home was very clean! Overall…a beautiful home!

Great month in Coventry

Can’t say enough good about our stay on the lake in Coventry for the month! Letitia was so thoughtful and kind with two special requests we made and could not have made our stay more welcoming. She shoveled us out with two snowstorms, also! The home is clean, well appointed, comfy beds, with plenty of space for our family to move about and entertain. The view to the lake was fabulous and our son and granddaughters even ice fished on the lake. Coventry is a great location for a visit to the UConn area.

Perfect lake house for family get away

We loved our stay at the lake house. The location is great on a quiet little street. And the lakefront and view is incredible! Even the photos don’t do it justice. The house is so close to the lake with a great deck for sitting. We used the dock and brought our own aluminum boat with motor which was a bonus to explore the lake more and fish a bit. My son enjoyed the nearby basketball courts. The living area is nice and open with lots of windows for viewing the lake. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 with the kids each getting their own room. The owner was very nice and the house has everything you could need.

Quaint Lake Cottage

Nicely decorated and well-equipped cottage right on the lake with an awesome view! We didn't get to enjoy the deck and pergola much as it was extremely hot early in the week and then rained much of the rest. We enjoyed watching the neighbors skiing as well as the kayaks and rowers. A laundry would have been nice for a week stay, but it was not advertised as having one, so not a problem. Floors are very unlevel but that just added to the charm! The owner obviously takes great pride in this property. We would stay again. Thanks!

Throwback weekend

We had such a beautiful, albeit frigid weekend at the lakehouse. Sometime in the 70s my husband was a lifeguard at the nearby beach. We spent most of our weekend eating meals at the bartop table and watching the ice skaters and ice fisherman or driving around the backroads of my husbands youth. Coming back to the adorable warm house after each jaunt was so peaceful. The cottage was spotless, very well equipped and a perfect mixture of vintage decor mixed with comfortable modern amenities. Id love to know more about the property as it is clearly lovingly maintained. Our visit was perfect. I can only imagine how fantastic it would be if temperatures were above 15 degrees! I definitely recommend this sweet little lakeside home any time of year.

Peaceful stay at Sunny Cove Cottage

The property was well maintained, and the house, roomy, with lots of indoor, and outdoor space to relax and visit in. Amenities were great, and allowed less packing for vacation. The lake in September, was quiet and peaceful Loved it, and host responded to any questions immediately. Would I go again....absolutely!!

Great Host

The house was spacious with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture and bed (we only used one of the bedrooms) and great AC. The outdoor pergola provided shade and was great to have, especially for the two of us who cannot be in the sun too long. The house directly faces the lake and the view was wonderful. All in all, the house was exactly as described on VRBO. Of extra importance was the caring attention of our host, Leticia. We had trouble working the TV on the first night of our stay, so we called Leticia for advice. She actually came over in person within 5-10 minutes and got us on track. Her response to our second call for help was even more impressive because it came after we checked out of the property. We actually forgot to load a small suitcase into the car and did not realize it until we were several hours away. Leticia went to the house, found the luggage and sent it to us via UPS; all the while refusing to be compensated. So, we heartily recommend her property, and thank her for the use of her lovely home and for the kindness she offered us.

Great cottage on the lake!

We had a wonderful stay at the lake cottage! Wine & chocolate left by host were a nice touch! It was cooler so we enjoyed the fireplace! Bottled water in fridge by host was great. Had a great stay & would stay again!

The Sunny cove Cottage is just perfect, beautifully decorated, gorgeous views, wonderful location! Very well appointed and the host Letitia is amazing, the wine and chocolates were perfect as well. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended it. We will definitely be back and can’t wait! Thanks again for the flexibility and for such a wonderful stay!

Wonderful Getaway with Amazing View

This is our second time renting this lovely lakefront cottage. Cozy and inviting. Beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could need. Owner is friendly and responsive. The Sunny beautiful main room with the view of the lake is a perfect restful place. Since we stayed in the winter we didn't get to enjoy the deck, but it looks like a lovely spot to enjoy some summer fun and sunsets.
