Very peaceful

The house and property was just what we was looking for for our adult getaway. We had the most relaxing, peaceful and fun filled 5 day vacation here. It rained like 2 œ days that we were there but there was plenty to do inside the house. Loved seeing the chipmunks running through the property. The pool, hot tub and fire pit was well enjoyed during our stay. The owner was super nice and communicated with us whenever we needed to. The house was super clean and well stocked. It is definitely on our top 3 places to vacation at now.

Great getaway place

We loved the hot tub in a cold spring day after doing activities outside with the kids. I knew i could relax in the hot tub. Very clean throughout the house and if i had any questions Julie would answer very quickly.

Great stay in PA!

First, the host Julie is very responsive to all text messages and phone calls before, during, and on check out day. Slight hiccup with the address because 19 Fawn Road isn’t identified by any street markers, instead the residence mailbox reads a different address. But, once you have located the property, it’s a beautiful home.and the interior home is very welcoming.

Great simple vacation

This was perfect for us. Julie was easy to communicate with and provided us with what we needed. When we vacation we like to make it simple, spend most days at the pool, cook dinner, hang out. It was close enough to go to the stores without making it a days trip, but because it is tucked in the woods, you feel secluded from city life. It is the best of both worlds.

Family getaway

We spent 4 days relaxing in this squeaky clean home with our kids and dog. We had such a great time relaxing in the hot tub, playing games in the game room and watching movies. The pictures look exactly like the home and the owners could not be easier to work with. We would gladly come back on our next break.

Five high school friends


Five high school friends had a great weekend away at a lovely house in the Poconos. Rooms were little smaller than the pictures showed but it was very cozy and intimate. Perfect for what we needed. Would plan on going in the summer When the pool is open

It looks like we will not have to search for our next getaway weekend. Julie's house had everything you could want or need for a vacation home. Julie was an amazing host who answered all my questions right away. If Julie will have us again next year I'm ready to book it.

Nice rental - poor communication

A group of us stayed at this rental for a golf weekend trip. It was spacious, perfect distance from activities and comfortable for the weekend. The negative thing we experienced was when we checked into the rental. The co-host, who never formally introduced himself was there at 4pm (our check in time) and told us he was 30-40 minutes behind on cleaning. We returned an hour later to find him still there dealing with the rental. He didn’t leave until 7pm. He did give us a quick walk through showing us how to use the amenities etc. However there were issues with the pool pump not working and no outdoor lighting which raised some concerns for safety. He also mentioned returning on Saturday to look at the pool pump. We reached out to the main host again and asked if he could not return to the rental as we wanted to enjoy it for the weekend. We feel as if our time at the rental was disrupted because they were not ready for our arrival and communication was poor. Overall, the rental was a great spot for a weekend trip however due to the unprofessionalism and breach in contract of our check in time we would not choose this rental again.I’m

Great weekend getaway place for the family!

Julie could not be more generous with her time and in her response to any needs you have. With 4 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs everything is pretty well spaced out. Plenty of restaurants around the area to go too. Supermarket, coffee and bagel place within 2 mins of the house, and Momento Italian restaurant was a nice surprise! Cambleback is 20 mins away and Shawnee is 15 mins from this house.

Do Not Recommend — Especially for FamiliesStayed here with a group of friends/our four children (infants/toddlers). The owners were aware we had young children & assured us the home would be family-friendly & ready for our stay. Unfortunately, this was not the case.We were shocked on arrival-the front yard had rusted items, clutter, & debris scattered. The real issues arose with the pool & hot tub (the reason we booked this house).As we arrived, we waited almost an hour for someone let us in. They proceeded to dump multiple chlorine tabs into the pool & hot tub. We told the host we were concerned, but they insisted it was safe to swim. The next morning we found 15-20 chlorine tabs undissolved at the bottom of the pool. We bought test strips which ended up measuring 10ppm in both the pool & hot tub. Safe levels are between 1-3ppm. This was dangerous & completely unusable, especially with young kids.I messaged the host with the information-no response. I reached out to VRBO & provided photo evidence of all of these health concerns-nothing done. If we had not taken our own precaution, our children could have been at great risk for chlorine poisoning. The host offered a 200 refund on or stay due to the delayed availability of the property, though we have yet to receive. The inside of the property was fine, but we had an incredibly poor experience overall. I have never written a bad review on a stay, but this was so concerning for health and safety. Don’t recommend.

Memorable Getaway

This was an awesome find for my families first ever getaway. Julie was an amazing host from pre-check-in to checking out. The house is exactly what is shown and more. We were welcomed to a Christmas decorated house with a tree. This was perfect since we came to send Christmas together. The host also left k-cups for the coffee maker. This came in handy since we forgot to bring coffee. Thank you Julie for that. We enjoyed the games, fire pit and hot tub. Can’t wait to come back over the summer to enjoy the pool. Thank you Julie!
