Pleasant Trees is a peaceful getaway nestled among the trees, just steps from your own private Lake Michigan frontage. Surrounded by nature, this charming retreat offers the perfect setting to relax, unwind, and soak in the beauty of the lakefront.

This inviting home offers a comfortable layout perfect for family getaways. Two bedrooms and a full bathroom are located on the main floor, alongside a bright kitchen and living room with an open floor plan that's perfect for gathering and spending time together. Upstairs, you'll find two spacious bedrooms, including one with a private half bathroom, plus an additional full bathroom for convenience. The main floor also includes a washer and dryer tucked into the second bedroom, making longer stays easy.This home is not pet-friendly. This home does not have A/C or Heating.

The outdoor space is perfectly situated on a bluff, offering stunning views of Lake Michigan and its famous sunsets. A private set of stairs leads down to a sandy beach, making it easy to enjoy sun, sand, and water right at your doorstep.

Grand Haven is located on the shores of Lake Michigan. We are a quaint, little beach town recently named the "Happiest Seaside Town in America," by Coastal Living Magazine. Here, your family will find Grand Haven State Park, which was voted in the Top 10 Best Beaches in the world by Travel+Leisure Magazine. The boardwalk stretches one and a half miles, beginning at Chinook Pier and ending at the iconic red lighthouse. Historic, affordable, and amusing, the trolley is continually traveling throughout the waterfront and downtown areas dropping you off at any desired location. At the end of the day, grab a blanket to sit on and head to the Waterfront Stadium where the whole family can enjoy the Musical Fountain. This synchronized lights, water, and music show have coined the title "World's Largest." This free show plays nightly at dusk throughout the summer.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and made good memories as a family, we stayed for an extended fall break weekend. Something to be sure to note is the absence of heating and air. They provided extra space heaters for us and I saw they have plenty of fans. Make sure this works for your group. The company that lists this home has great professionalism and communication. They were sure to remedy any issues we had and provided thorough details for us before our stay. The beach and views are absolutely stunning! Stairs are sturdy and easy to navigate. We were able to walk very long beach walks and the houses surrounding are well cared for. We enjoyed the sunsets so much and saw a bald eagle up close. You are in a great spot for antiquing, many restaurants nearby, parks nearby- ample things to do and groceries within 10 minutes. The WiFi was strong and the smart tv easy to connect to. Recommend this spot for those who enjoy a little more rustic feel to a home. The sound of the waves with the windows open is truly relaxing and nature’s beauty is hard to beat!

The cottage has a lot of charm and a great Lake Michigan setting. The private beach access, views, sunsets, water quality, and water pressure were all excellent. The appliances were newer and everything we needed functioned properly, so from a practical standpoint the place worked well for our stay.That said, the home is definitely older than the listing photos may suggest. It has an old-cottage feel, and there was a noticeable mothball smell when we arrived. I found myself liking it because everything seemed to work just right, but, it was dated and a little musty, but also comfortable, functional, and in a beautiful location.....hardest review I have ever written. It won't disappoint, it is just an older house squeezed into a smaller property.Overall, if you are expecting a newer or freshly updated rental, this may not be the best fit. But if you are okay with an older Lake Michigan cottage that has good appliances, great water pressure, private beach access, and a peaceful setting, it can still be a very enjoyable stay.

Overall we did have an enjoyable experience at the property and the location of the home with beach access was great and the reason we chose to stay there.The house itself is definitely not near as nice as advertised. The home was not very clean, there are ant traps in every room and where you park is a grassy muddy area which was inconvenient with our small children since it had rained and the ground was wet. It is obvious that an older person lived there and they just kept all the old furniture etc and started renting the property without doing any updates at all.
