Everything at the house was excellent. Plenty of room, immaculate, beautiful lot, fire pit and hot tub were little bonuses. The Hosts kept us informed, check in was a breeze, lots of kitchen equipment, nice game room and plenty of TVs. The family thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay.

The house was immaculate and suited our family’s needs perfectly. The kitchen was so very functional - we had everything we needed to cook for everyone. The power went out while we were there, which we didn’t really notice because the generator kicked in and kept us cool during a hot July night. If you are planning to bring or rent a boat while you were there, which we did, we were told guests couldn’t use the lifts. Not sure if I missed that in the guidelines, but having a boat tied up to the floating dock made swimming a bit crowded. And due to the low level of water in the lake, the distance from the fixed dock to the floating dock is close to eight feet. The current steps are way too short and we had family members that couldn’t get to the floating dock. The host would not provide a ladder to reach the floating dock, which many others have done at SML. So, bring a ladder if you plan to use the floating dock.

We had a wonderful time at the house for a family reunion for our daughter's college graduation. The kitchen was well stocked and bedrooms were as advertised; living areas were generously sized and had plenty of seating at the tables. The game room was excellent; adding a sleeper sofa in there could expand the capacity of the house without detracting from the sleeping arrangements. It was on a quiet cul-de-sac and very peaceful. The hot tub was a big hit with the everyone. There were two issues we had during our stay. The first was not the fault of the rental; the water level in the lake is currently very low making it impossible to use the floating dock. We had rented a boat and had to go to the marina to onload and offload as the floating dock at the property was about 6 feet below the main dock. Secondly, the "lower level" in the description is really a walk-out basement and smells musty. We had several people with allergies that flared up by sleeping in the basement. Overall, it was a lovely house that had been thoughtfully renovated and was a wonderful setting for our reunion.

Luxurious Relaxation

Top notch. Stunningly beautiful home on the lake. Comfortable beds and everything you could ask for in the house. The game room was so much fun on our rainy day; provided hours of fun, though shuffleboard was the family favorite.For us, the days (and nights) were spent on the dock. Morning coffee on the lake …. what a way to start the day! Relaxing, fishing, and enjoying the views right on the water. Both sunrise and sunset were equally beautiful. The property has everything you need to enjoy the outdoors. Sunset kayaking and the trampoline were family favorites. We would absolutely do this again. It was just what our family needed to reconnect, recharge, and relax! As a side note: while the home doesn’t specify that it is handicap accessible, it absolutely is. Walk in showers and everything you need in the downstairs rooms to enjoy your stay for those that may have issues with mobility. Additionally, the lot is a very gentle slop to the lake. Easy for those with difficulty walking.

What a GREAT property! Family vacation was wonderful fishing off dock, relaxing by fire or in hot tub or cooling off in the lake and kayaking the lake. Inside had room for everyone to spread out and yet eat as a family in oversized kitchen with island and seating for 6 plus open concept dining that provided seating for 8. Evenings in game room playing cards, shuffleboard and a kids kitchen for the little one. Host was accessible when needed and check-in was smooth and simple. Home exceeded our hopes.
