Mitt 1800-talets bondgÄrd mitt i en hÀstranch, en kÀnsla av att vara i mitten av landet, men bara en kilometer frÄn motorvÀgen. Nyligen uppdaterad frÄn sÀngklÀder till apparater, inklusive en sovnummer sÀng och nya madrasser och toppers. Otroliga ursprungliga trÀgolv och spektakulÀra vinklar. Protokoll frÄn Expressway, MSU, Dart och Jackson Nat'l. Fantastisk utsikt. Perfekt för en stor familj eller tvÄ familjer som kommer in för ett spel, utexamination eller familj trÀffas. Eller Àr du en verkstÀllande resenÀr som vill ha en tyst bort i stÀllet för ett hotell.
Att sÀtta ihop ett möte och vill ha en unik mötesplats kan det vara din plats!

Det finns det jag kallar en "Petticoat Junction" typ av tÄg som kommer genom 3-4 gÄnger om dagen under veckan, men inte vanligtvis i helgen. Den typ du kommer ihÄg vill rÀkna med bilar, det gÄr lÄngsamt för att vinka till ledaren eller om du sen ser min nya földans i cirklar nÀr det gÄr.

Om du har en familj och de vill samla Àgget och se de djur som kan ordnas sÄ lÀnge gÄrden regleras.

Det hÀr Àr en rökfri miljö, sÄ nÀr du verkligen kan andas i frisk luft. Under det mesta av Äret gÄr en vacker liten bÀck genom fastigheten .... nÄgra dagar ser vÄr strandnÀra fastighet ut som en sjö Àn en bÀck.

Vi vÀlkomnar Cowboys och Cowgirls kommer in för en show pÄ MSU Pavilion eller Ingham County Fairgrounds (bÄda inom 4-6 miles). LÀmna bara dina stövlar pÄ verandan, du vet vad jag menar!

Det Àr ett mycket lugnt omrÄde, sÄ det Àr bra att njuta av konversationer runt eldstaden och njut av stjÀrnorna pÄ natten, men du behöver behÄlla ljudnivÄn nere. Alla större grupper fÄr sammankomster Àn registrerade gÀster mÄste godkÀnnas först. (vÀnligen meddela oss i förvÀg om du tror att du kanske vill njuta av eldstaden).

Jag brukade spendera mycket tid pÄ vÀgen, sÄ jag ville skapa ett utrymme som verkligen var avkopplande för affÀrsresenÀren ocksÄ. Du hittar Àven om huset har en rustik charm och vackra ursprungliga golv ... vi sÀtter stor dusch i, fina sÀngklÀder och olika typer av madrasser och toppers inklusive ett sova nummer i Master och uppdaterade eller nya apparater i köket och en tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare i duschen.

The perfect stay

This place was absolutely beautiful! Loved the rustic farmhouse! My kids loved the chickens. Would absolutely love to stay here again next year when we come back! Patti was available for anything we needed and communicated that with us multiple times.

MSU Football Weekend Trip

A few of my friends and I came back to the East Lansing area to go to a MSU football game. The farm house had a lot of beds and was about a 15 minute drive from campus, which is just what we needed. We had a great time.

Family Get together

We traveled to Michigan from out of state for a family wedding. With 9 in our group ranging in age from 2 - 80 this was a wonderful place to stay! The little ones were able to be themselves while others were able to relax. You can take a walk since it is located in the country. We were able to have extended family over for coffee and donuts and visit in the large dining area. We stayed for 4 days and it became affectionately referred to as 'Grandma's Farm'!

Very convenient spot for our event

We didn’t spent a lot of time at the house but our only kinda issues were 13 people playing a sport & all needing to shower at the end of the day with only 1 shower & it took a while to get the house warmed up when we got there. It was a very charming old farmhouse though & was comfortable once it was warmed up. Patti was great about being available if we needed anything

Relaxing and peaceful

We so enjoyed our stay. It was a quick trip to celebrate our sons birthday and attend an MSU football game. The location was great and Patti was a fabulous host from the time we made our reservation, until we left. Any question or request was answered within minutes. The old farm house was peaceful and we were able to all play games and sit around a campfire at night. I was just an ideal setting that allowed us to be together as a family.

Get away.

We stayed at this property for the National trap shooting compition. We were minutes away. Good location and the property was as described. Patty was fun to talk to and a good host. Very relaxing and informative.

Graduation Weekend

We stayed here to celebrate my son's graduation from MSU. There was plenty of space for everyone and the host was very accommodating and friendly. It was close enough to campus for us to go back and forth.

Spacious stay but further from MSU than described

We came to Mason for the purpose of going to tailgate for MSU Homecoming with a big group and while this house was large enough to accommodate our group, it was much further from campus than described. Patti was a lovely host and super friendly and responsive.

Up Close and Personal with Horses!

We greatly enjoyed waking up on our first morning and looking out to see a family of beautiful horses! The entire time we were there we had free, unlimited access to interact with the horses and feed them carrots. There were also chickens that Patti would let out each morning that freely roamed the property, and we were able to feed them as well. Patti was a very friendly and accommodating host. She had freshly baked apple muffins that were there upon our arrival and they were delicious. She also received and put away a grocery delivery order for me prior to my arrival. Each morning and evening we would see Patti when she came to feed the horses and gather eggs. The kids and I were able to go around with her and help feed the horses hay and gather eggs. We enjoyed many pleasant conversations with Patti and the whole family enjoyed her company. The property is absolutely beautiful and we plan to return in the future.

Country Living

A wonderful farmhouse experience with 18 beautiful horses that love carrots and apples, as well as chickens that will eat almost anything. Patti was a delightful host and gracious enough to introduce us to her string and flock. Expect a quiet and peaceful experience with 85 acres of Michigan's photographic landscape at your doorstep.

Hi I'm Patti, after purchasing this farm and tearing off the layers of flooring and wall coverings, we found a very amazing place that we wanted to share with YOU! Before a serious horse accident in 2006, I spent a lot of time on the road. So I wanted to create a space that travelers could feel at home and really relax. It’s out in the country were you can listen to the tree frogs sing you to sleep or birds wake you up in the morning. I love my horses and I love helping grow businesses and marketing so with this new farm I'm combining all my passions together.

Within the first 13 months of Hosting we received the Metric Ranking of #1 ~ of 140+ properties!!!

We aren't looking to be the lowest price place on this site. But we do promise to do our best to give you a great experience!! We have had groups extend their stays and several return for another visit within this short period of time since we started.
Come Visit!! We look forward to meeting YOU! If you are coming for a longer stay contact us if your budget is a little tight, No promises but it never hurts to ask!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

I used to say, there is nothing glamorous about a hotel room after the first few nights. So do something a little different. Spread out more, have your own kitchen, open up the windows feel the country breeze instead of just air conditioning. (yes we do have air conditioning units, but they aren't needed but only a few weeks of the year if that). You don't have to spend time finding a store, as we have a service that will deliver your groceries at your convenience. Bringing the family, when was the last time they stayed at a place they were able to see young horses playing in the yard next to them.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Whether you are coming into the area for a family event or several families going to an out-of-town sporting event, why stay at a hotel when you can really relax and enjoy each others company in a unique stay in the country. Count the stars at night, have some-mores by the campfire. If you and your friends are coming in for a get away or MSU, many guests use Lift and Uber services. We are only 6 miles from MSU pavilion.
