3 sovrum 2 badrum stor lägenhet (1660 kvadratmeter) totalrenoverad, idealiskt beläget på Champ de Mars, Paris största park, med en fantastisk utsikt från de flesta rum, på Ecole Militaire monument, på Champ de Mars träd och på Eiffeltornet.
Förmodligen den största lägenheten i PARIS på VRBO-webbplatsen och den bästa platsen. Vår gata har rankats bland de tio mest prestigefyllda gatorna i Paris.
Champ de Mars Apartment ligger 5 minuters promenad från livsmedelsmarknaden i Rue Cler i det prestigefyllda sjunde arrondissementet, och har en sofistikerad dekor i en prestigefylld byggnad i art deco-stil.
Tidigare huvudkontoret för LANCOME i mitten av 1900-talet, är denna lägenhet ockuperat av byråer för att skapa filmer för TV- och WEB-reklam

Lägenheten går in genom en rymlig hall. Omedelbart framför är det stora vardagsrummet (600 kvm).
I korridoren till vänster finns kök / matplats. Då hittar du det första sovrummet med dess balkong och privat badrum. Det andra sovrummet är till höger om ingången, på motsatt sida från vardagsrummet.
Och det tredje sovrummet med det andra badrummet ligger i slutet av en korridor.

En av de mest tilltalande aspekterna av denna 1660 kvadratmeter stora lägenhet är dess utformning och utsikt, eftersom de flesta av rummen ligger framför träden. Ingen utom Paris framför dig.
De två huvudsakliga sovrummen ligger i motsatta ändar av lägenheten, vilket säkerställer ett mått av integritet även när lägenheten är helt upptagen. Dubbla franska dörrar i vardera änden av ingången ger också, vid behov, ett extra inslag av integritet.

Köket är fullt utrustat och renoverat 2013, som hela lägenheten.

Lägenheten ligger på Champ de Mars, och ligger på andra våningen på en enkelriktad, prestigefylld aveny som är känd för arkitekturen i dess byggnader. Nedervåningen, den förtjusande barnkarusellen på Champ de Mars, den expansiva parken som går från Eiffeltornet till Ecole Militaire.
Bara 5 minuters promenad österut ligger Rue Cler, en gågata med en bländande mängd mataffärer och marknadsställningar. Tunnelbanestationen Ecole Militaire ligger två minuters promenad österut. En tio minuters promenad i norr leder till Pont d’Alma över Seinen och till de eleganta butikerna i avenyn Montaigne.

Not the apartment we were promised

My information from VRBO shows we were supposed to be given property 470913. We were not. The apartment we had was entirely different. For example, the apartment we were given had a kitchen with a green backsplash that opened onto the living area, which is completely different than the kitchen pictured. None of the photographed furniture was present. The kitchen was poorly equipped and not particularly clean, and the refrigerator stunk of old fish. Four of the six of us have dust mite allergies. Of the five places we stayed on our trip to Europe, this was the only one where we had allergy trouble. I will be complaining to VRBO.

Dear guest, We are very surprised that you were not happy with our apartment. As the husband of your friend was snoring too loud, you requested an extra bed and some curtains in the living room. So that he could sleep separately. I have contacted you and this seemed a priority. The first one booked by yourself has no curtains in the living room, as you can see on the pictures, and the beds are very difficult to move. And the windows are not equipped with double glasses in the living room, which doesn't have a sofa bed. We have two apartments same building same floor same size. Our other apartment reference 1477249 has a sofa bed. Moreover the beds can be moved easily. This is the reason why we have proposed to the guests in the apartment 1477249 to get the 470913. So you could get the other apartment for your three nights stay. And your friend could sleep peacefully as her husband could snore alone in the living room. We see that you were not satisfied with our solution despite our efforts to organize a nice stay. Our other apartment 1477249 is really a higher standard. It has been freshly renovated by a famous architect - decorator last year. The former guests decided to stay 6 months and were satisfied with it. Indeed the apartment 1477249 has 3 magnificent and luxurious bathrooms, a kitchen with precious marble set up by the decorator of Chanel shops, the equipment is high level and includes the best machines Miele and a big new TV with great sound , internet and netflix, integrated air con reversible, heating with a remote control, new luxury beds and furniture,....It is much more comfortable than the other one renovated 6 years ago with more simple materials. And it is more sunny/full of light, which is important in December. So when we see the review that you have posted, with no thanks, only criticizing , starting with the (magnificent) kitchen and its "smell of fish", and your -collective?- allergies, we see that you didn’t like your trip to Paris. For your information the newly renovated apartment has new carpets. And it has mechanical ventilation and a new automatic reversible air con. The old one has nothing like this. So you may have had much more allergies in the older one. Hopefully you have stayed in the identical but new one. We definitely regret to see that you were not satisfied with our apartment. We are on VRBO since a decade and our guests have always been satisfied with our apartments.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Fabulous location and apartment layout. Kitchen could use improvement, i.e. serving utensils, cooking pots (although landlord brought them when we asked). Highly recommend this property!

Wonderful family apartment in the 7th.

We enjoy staying in the 7th - close enough to major attractions but feels like a real neighborhood not a tourist spot. The three bedrooms, living room and kitchen gave our family of five plenty of room to spread out. Our hosts made nice suggestions on local dining and transport and were very responsive. And yes, it really does look like the photos and yes, you really can see The Eiffel Tower. Great choice for a family who wants a neighborhood feel in Paris.

Bliss in Paris

Gregory & Pauline’s apartment was our home in Paris for 7 fantastic days. Views of the Eiffel Tower and Champs de Mars are brilliant. The Rodin and Military museums, among many other attractions, are within walking distance and there is a Metro station close by as well. The apartment is huge and light and a very beautiful and comfortable space to be in. Greg is a warm and gracious host was was very generous with great recommendations for restaurants, bars and markets. This is the place to stay if you want to feel like a real Parisienne

Location, location, location!

Without a doubt the location of this unit was AMAZING! It was close to a very convenient metro stop on a quiet street with very quiet neighbors. It had a secure entry and felt very safe. The living room and dining room were very lovely with large windows that opened to the street. The furniture was lovely and comfortable. There was a lack of lighting in the main area of the house. There were a few lamps around, but half of them did not work. The kitchen was adequate and well supplied with everything you would need for cooking. The bedrooms were as presented. They were on the large size for European standards. The beds were comfortable. The master bath was very spacious. The guest bath was typical and smaller in size (once again adequate for European standards). The owners were extremely nice, easy to work with and worked with our needs, but I didn't have the typical information from the owners that I usually expect from VRBO. If I hadn't rented in Paris before, I might have felt a bit lost. I take my reviews seriously. I have stayed in some amazing five star rentals. This was not quite that. It is a home, not just a rental unit (at least that is what appears to be the case). The kitchen is well loved. The dishes, the dishwasher and the refrigerator are all well-used. The air conditioning is typical for Paris (it is a unit that needs to be hooked up and placed outside with a hose), though it worked well for the two main bedrooms. The third bedroom has a normal air conditioning unit, though I do not believe it was really working. All in all, I would stay at this unit again because of the location and the flexibility of the owners, but I want to represent it well. It is loved and lived in, but I do believe it is priced adequately. If you want a five star rental with a location like this, you will probably have to pay double.

You need to stay here!!

Wonderful location, beautiful place to come back to at the end of the day and Pauline/Gregory are fabulous. Our family of 6 could not have asked for a better place to begin to see all the sites of Paris and talking the 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower around 9pm for dinner was the highlight of the trip.

Very nice apartment in a great location!

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment! Our flight was delayed and we arrived around 9:30 pm and they were gracious enough to wait up for our arrival. On the last day, they provided us with a wonderful treat as a thank you for our stay. The unit itself is spacious and in a fantastic location close to the metro, restaurants and the Eiffel Tower. Only downside would be the master shower didn't work great, the twin beds were very small and on wheels (not meant for older children) and loud construction noise. I would definitely stay here again!

We apologize for the noise on the last day, Tuesday morning, as they have started some renovation for 4 weeks at the back of the building. We won't rent the apartment in April as a consequence. We have checked the shower in the master bathroom and it works perfectly well and with a big pressure, so we should have explained to you how it works. As for the twin beds, they are luxury beds from Conran Shop. The size is 90 cm X 200 cm for each of them, which is the usual size for French single beds. I understand that American people are slightly taller than French (!) The bed in your room is a 180 X 200 Sofitel bed. We are definitely gratelful for this feedback, which is important for us. A few days in Paris

Five stars! What a wonderful three nights we had last week in this elegant apartment. All six of us had made numerous visits to Paris but the consensus was that this was the very best accommodation ever. The prewar building in its upscale 7th arr neighborhood has beautifully maintained common areas and a classic center-stair open elevator with impeccable wood finish. While the rooms were still undergoing refurbishment, none of the details like missing closet door knobs, were distracting. With lengthy views extending south over an open space to the wide Av de la Mott-Picquet, the apartment was always cheerfully sunny. And surprisingly quiet because of the double glazing throughout. Unusually for Paris, each of the three bedrooms were ensuite, with the master sharing the street view and the other two facing on to the very large center courtyard, which was never noisy in the morning. All of us had good things to say about the comfort of the beds. And it was hard to beat a morning constitutional on the endless Champs do Mar with views of the iconic Tour Eiffel. A major feature was the number of moderately priced, highly rated restaurants within a ten-minute walk. We had some of the best meals of all time at Le Florimon and Arnaud Nicolasbut sadly had to forfeit our reservation at La Capiello, rated 3 out of 14,647 by Trip Advisor and only an 8 minute walk. While the nearest Metro stop is only an identical 8 minute walk , with six of us we used Uber Van, both comfortable and economical for our sightseeing. Highlights were the MoMA exhibit at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in the Bois (this two year old Ghery building is most spectacular in Paris) and the Museum of Decorative Arts next to the Louvre with the must-see Dior exhibit /. This apartment is a real gem. Perfect for thee couples.

Good location but...

The location of the apartment was good. However, the apartment was only partially air conditioned and we were afraid to sit on the owner's expensive chairs. The owner pointed out all of the valuable furniture--which only increased our apprehension. Also, be aware that you need to be quiet in this apartment. As we entered the lobby to go upstairs the owner said, "Sh..." Apparently, the neighbors in the building are not thrilled with having tourists coming in and out of the apartment building. (Don't blame them--but, if this is an issue then the owner should not rent a VRBO there.) With six adults (ages 28-62; college educated, professional people) all excited about coming to Paris (four for the first time), it was a little discouraging to come "home" and have to be worried about making any noise. Needless to say, we did not spend much time in the apartment. Typical VRBO's--and this is my 7th-- provide written information--suggestions for dining, sight-seeing, transportation, how to use metro, use of tv, internet, etc, etc.--this was not provided. Not a big thing--but it would have been nice to have a defrosted and empty refrigerator/freezer (didn't know modern appliances needed defrosting). Also, it was very irritating to not have closets to hang clothing. It is not unusual for owners to keep areas of their home locked up but locking closets--really?? Yes, we could put things in drawers but some things just need to be hung up. Bottom line the location is good and the apartment is large. You are not going to Paris to sit in an apartment--but understand there are some issues.

Dear Bruce, Thank you for your review. We are very sorry that you couldn't use the freezer and the closets. This was exceptionnal as we had a different cleaning lady who exceptionnally forgot to arrange all The closets and to defrost the freezer. Concerning the noise it is a usual practice for the rent of apartments in private buildings to be respectful to the neighbourhood In opposition to a hotel room but it definitely doesnt mean you have to take it as its word. Concerning the furniture, We have decided to give to this apartment a very fine and arty decoration and interior design touch, in opposition to some more classical apartment so we expect our guests to respect the furniture as if they were at home. Not more than that. I am sorry We haven't talked about it as I see it is a communication issue. I hope you still had a great time as our aim on the appartment arrangements is to propose to our guests a comfortable, elegant and peaceful place to stay very well located for a visit of our lovely Paris. The apartment was wonderful.

The apartment was wonderful. It was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen had everything we needed, which made the start of the day easy. We were able to do a little laundry, which after 2 weeks in Europe came in handy. The bedrooms were spacious and everything was well appointed. It was very hot part of the time we were there -- highs in upper 90's -- and while the AC units were not completely compatible for that kind of heat, we were able to manage. The location was fabulous, just a stroll away from the Eiffel Tower and a block away from the subway. Gregory met us at the apartment. In addition to explaining everything, he gave us tips for nearby restaurants -- which led us to some fabulous meals. We would definitely rent again on a return trip to Paris.

True Parisian apartment experience

Our family of 5 really enjoyed staying in this beautiful and roomy apartment with a great view of the Eiffel Tower. Convenient to metro stops. Gregory met us at the apartment to show us around and also gave us some good restaurant recommendations in the area.

Lovely property in a great location!

This is a lovely property and I highly recommend others renting the apartment. Greg greeted my daughter upon arrival and toured her through the apartment and left a nice bottle of champagne! Greg was very responsive on the couple of times we contacted him. It was a bit of a stretch for three adult couples. Our adult children seemed to adapt fine to the bathroom sharing. My adult friends would not have enjoyed that. The kitchen was we'll appointed for the little we used it. No place to hang clothes or put ones suitcase except the floor. There were a lot of light bulbs out. The living room was beautiful and there was plenty of seating. The location was close to anything you could want or need. Very secure building. I would rent again.

Very beautiful flat. Great view of the Eiffel Tower and Ecole Military.

We stayed at the flat over the Bastille Day celebrations. Fireworks could be seen over the Eiffel Tower. Gregory was very kind and gave us an in depth tour of the flat and offered advice about restaurants and nearby markets. We would love to come back to this lovely home in Paris.

Amazing apartment in Paris!

Our family rented this apartment for spring break! From the moment we rented until we got back home, Gregory and Pauline were flawless in communication and customer service. The apartment was perfectly located and the accommodations suited all of our needs. We were able to experience what it is truly like to "live" in Paris! Thank you Gregory and Pauline!

Tranquility in Paris!

My wife and I rented this Paris apartment for 10 nights this past summer. From the word go, the communication with the owners, Pauline & Gregoire was excellent! If you have ever stayed in a hotel or apartment in Paris, you know how small the total living area is, but that is not the case with this apartment. Spacious is an understatement! It was such a quiet environment offering so many amenities. Its location in the 7th District made getting around so easy! How could one not enjoy just viewing the Eiffel Tower from your bedroom balcony! We look forward in the very near future to once again staying in this tranquil oasis!

5 star appartment !

We stayed 8 nights at this incredibly beautiful first class apartment located in a beautiful quiet part of Paris. The host and his staff were amazing. The apartment had everything anyone would ever need. It is the equivalent to a Ritz Carlton property. The location is very near everything you would need- grocers, cafés, restaurants major train station and subway stations. Frankly, I was astounded at the convenience of everything in the apartment and the surrounding area (eiffel tower and champs de mars park) I would highly recommend!

Nothing Quite Like Spending The Holidays in Paris...Especially Here!

We rented this Paris Apartment for the 2013 Holidays for 10 nights. There were a total of six adults: me and my partner, my son and niece and their respective partners. The apartment was spacious with three bedrooms, giving each couple their own private space. There was an en suite bathroom in the Master bedroom and a w/c (toilet and sink) and 1/2 bath (shower and sink) in the hall. The living and dinning rooms were spacious and the kitchen was modern and fully-equipped. The WiFi was great (which is important when traveling with 4 college students). The apartment is on the second (3rd floor by US standards) floor of a fabulous pre-war building. The holidays were so much more magical being able to see the Eiffel Tower from the living room, dining room and master bedroom. It's an easy walk to Ecole Militare, Champ De Mars, Eiffel Tower, Trocadero, Rue Cler, Invalides, The Seine, the Metro, buses, the market, bakery and restaurants. If you don't feel like walking, taxi stands were close by too. The owners met us at the apartment and made sure we were settled and provided us with recommendations of stores, markets, restaurants, bakery's, etc. that were close by. The owners speak excellent English. We highly recommend this apartment and hope to rent it again sometime.

Fantastic Apartment!

We were thrilled with this apartment. It is beautiful, quite large, and with wonderful and interesting art throughout. We were a party of five -- three children ages 12, 9, and 4 and had plenty of space. We were able to watch the Bastille Day Fireworks from the balcony (a memory none of us will soon forget!). Our 12 year old could go by himself over to the park at the Champs du Mars and play soccer. While our younger kids loved the playgrounds. Highly recommend.

EXCELLENT!

My family and I stayed at Gregory and Pauline's lovely Parisian apartment for 5 days/nights and we could not have been any more pleased. Greg was super attentive to all our needs. The neighborhood made us feel like we'd been living there for years. The setting is spectacular, with Champ de Mars and the Eiffel tower just a walking distance away. The apartment is spacious and it has a fantastic French flair. We would love to return! Thanks Greg and Pauline for everything!

Probably the best location in Paris..! It is unique to be in the center of Paris, with à view on the nicest monuments, iuit quiet, chic and secuplacera and at the same Time very close from all the touristic places, shops, restaurants and bars...!!!!! The 7 th district is the chicest area of Paris, quiet and Green as it is on the champ de Mars ( one of the biggest parc in Paris) , walking distance from the most touristic places (musée d Orsay, Eiffel tower, la concorde, Trocadéro, champs Elysees...) , walking distance from the nicest shopping experience ( av montaigne, champ Elysées, boulevard saint germain...) and in the middle of a very tipical parisien area with pietonary streets Like rue cler, rue du commerce and rue saint dominique were you CAN find food marketing and famous food stores (Cantin, Seco, Davoli ....A unique location for a unique Stay in Paris!
