Happiness in the hill country!

Stablewood springs is a little slice of heaven in the hill country! Great accommodations….and great appointed kitchen!

Perfect Getaway!

My husband and I were thrilled with this property. Not only was the location spectacular, the "room" was just amazing. I say "room" because it was more like a 2-bedroom home. Fully furnished kitchen with top-notch appliances. Furniture was functional and comfortable. The master bedroom had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Giant shower...amazing. As far as location, this is located on a beautiful hillside with a gorgeous view. Easy 45 minute scenic drive to Fredericksburg. Communication with the Owner was seamless; very responsive and professional. Thank you for a very relaxing and beautiful home for the weekend! We will definately be staying here every time we come to the Hill Country.

Gorgeous property

Beautiful place with gorgeous views, it was an amazing vacation. We had a frustrating experience checking in, the resort was running several hours behind so our room was not ready until close to 8pm. That being said, the owner was extremely responsive, understanding and helpful. Even with the check in issues, we would rent again in a heartbeat. The resort assigns your unit when you arrive, so the photos are just an example of the property you may get. That being said, our space was even prettier that the photographs, and the view from the back patio was just breathtaking. There are several well marked hiking trails we enjoyed as well as fishing ponds stocked with bass and catfish. Our kids loved the pool, and the resort has private river access where you can park. The river was low during our stay, but we had fun wading and splashing and just sitting in the streams and small waterfalls. All in all it was the perfect home base for exploring the Hill Country. Thank you!!!

Great get away don’t pass this one up

What a wonderful location for a get away. Unit was clean and fully stocked. Check in/check out process was extremely easy. Outdoor amenities are fabulous pools, recreational area, outdoor areas (star gazing). The unit was nicely located by pool and accommodations were perfect! Great seating inside and out and beds were comfortable. Can’t wait to come back!!

Relaxing Getaway

My wife and I had a great experience at Stablewood Springs! The accommodations were comfortable and the views were beautiful. I’m sure we will be back!

We booked online through VRBO 48 hours prior to our vacation The following day within 18 hours of the confirmation we realized that the reviews were terrible , there was no access to river on the property, very restricted Pool We asked for cancellation ( just 18 hours after made reservation) and it was denied. No refund no options to rain check Would not recommend to anyone to book unless you read the very very find print hiding on other pages

Such a wonderful place!!!

We loved our stay! The place was perfect! Beautiful inside & out!! The rooms were perfect, kitchen lovely, & outdoor area serene! The only minor issues were check in was a hour behind and the heater on the pool was out. But the place was so beautiful that I would still rate it five stars and hope to return!
