Tunnelbanestationen ligger bara 3 minuters promenad från lägenheten och tunnelbanan går direkt till järnvägsstationen Santa Maria Novella på 7 minuter. Eller om du väljer att gå, är det bara 15 till 20 minuter trevlig och lätt promenad längs floden Arno med en fantastisk utsikt över Florens.

Det finns metered parkeringsplatser (ca 14 euro för en dagbiljett, söndag gratis) framför byggnaden och tillgången till huvudvägar ligger inom 10 minuters bilresa.

Jag bor i närheten och tillgänglig 24/7. Gärna att rekommendera restauranger, museer, dagsutflykter eller något annat för att göra din semester unik.

Beläget vid floden Arno, erbjuder denna rymliga lägenhet en underbar utsikt över "Parco delle Cascine", där de flesta florentiner går varje tisdag för sin öppna marknad med färsk frukt och blommor, lokala konst och hantverk, bland annat vackra saker.

Lägenheten ligger på första våningen i en 1800-talsbyggnad. Det är mycket smakfullt inredda, fullt utrustade och alla rum är ljusa och soliga. Det är mycket bekvämt med två sovrum (ett med dubbelsäng, ett med två enkelsängar), ett badrum och ett halvt badrum, fullt utrustat kök med allt du behöver laga en läcker toskansk måltid, vardagsrum med bäddsoffa (sover 6 personer bekvämt) och matsal. En barnsäng och barnstol finns utan extra kostnad.

Oavsett om du letar efter en romantisk semester eller ett speciellt möte för vänner och familjer, erbjuder den här lägenheten ett utmärkt värde för pengarna och kvaliteten.

Detta är säkert ett mycket typiskt florentinsk, icke-turistiska rush-rush område !! Det är lätt att se kläder som sträcker sig utanför byggnaderna för att torka, gamla damer går till lokala mart med sina matkorgar och tålmodiga fiskare försöker lycka till vid floden Arno under söndagen.

Cozy and fairly quiet

The apartment was as advertised. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms was convenient. Christina was very helpful and met us there. Location is on the river and a fairly short tram ride from main attractions. Good restaurants nearby.

Pleasant stay on the river

Riverfront location a pleasant 20mins walk to town. Equipped kitchen to enable self catering, lovely view of river and park. Cosy apartment-lovely and warm and good bedding. Unit needs a little TLC/maintenance-Some mould, peeling paint etc. Enjoyed our stay in Florence and quieter end of town.

Für uns hat es perfekt gepasst. Gute Lage, man ist fix zu Fuß im Zentrum und mit kurzem Fußweg an der Straßenbahn. Supermarkt sehr nah. Hübsche Wohnung mit zwei Bädern. Sehr nette, erreichbare Vermieter.

As expected

Apartment as described. Old, but cozy, next to Arno river. It accommodated 6 people fine. The 2 bathrooms were covenient for so many people. Easy to come and go to Firenzcentrale by tram. There was a problem with the hot water but ghe host arranged for a technician. immediately. Suggestions for improvement: the ventilator in the bathroom needs cleaning and the doors needed some lubricant to stop the noise.

Check was easy. Host, Christina,sent a video of property. Communication was always very quick. We were very late due to train strike & they were very understanding!! There were plenty of towels, everything was provided. It was only a 4 minute walk to tram

Florence Stay

Christina was a great host and very helpful. Apartment is located near the Tramvia which gives you access to the Duomo and the historic area. Or you can walk it as well. We are a family of 5 and the place worked well. We would recommend booking here to enjoy all the beauty that Florence has to offer!

This place is great for Families of 4 -5. For many reasons. The owner is wonderful, she waited for us to arrive and walked us through the house and what to expect. She is very organized and is available if there are any issues. Each kid had their own bed and really loved having two available toliets. This is needed with large families. We also loved have AC available at night - we happened to be there during a hear wave. The location is amazing- Grociery store less than 3 minutes, the metro 4 minutes, 25 minute walk to Ponte Vecchico. Very easy walk and straight you can't get lost. Also we found many restaurants near by (great Pizza place 3 minutes, many restaurants with really good food and much cheaper than in the center. One place we recommend is the Trattoria Dell Orto. The food was amazing and cheap. One of the best places we ate at in Italy. Our family would stay at Christinas again. Thank you for having us.

Accueil décevant par une personne ne parlant pas un mot d'anglais et pressée de partir (notre train avait un 1/4 heure de retard). Propreté plus que limite, hotte aspirante pleine de graisse et poussière. Micro ondes à la limite du danger (trop sale) risque d'étincelles. Vaisselle à relaver avant utilisation. Pourquoi paie-t-on un supplément pour nettoyage ? Sinon emplacement correct pour accès Tramway.

Si potrebbe migliorare

Mezzoretta a piedi per andare in centro, ma costeggiando l'Arno è anche piacevole. Alcune cose potevano essere pulite o pulite meglio, per esempio gli elettrodomestici ( il microonde, l'aspiratore del gas e della cucina) le stoviglie abbiamo dovuto rilavarle. I letti sono piccoli, sono di altezza 180cm dovevo stare con le gambe molto piegate.

Clean and enjoyable with a view of the river

The owner was very helpful in arrangements for check-in, and the view of the river is quite pleasant after a long day in the city. It is not difficult to get around from here by bus, tram, and taxi. But it is a little ways from the bustle of piazzas and tourist attractions. Two bathrooms are a perk for a unit this size and the three of us had plenty of space. However, the beds are just as firm as mentioned in previous comments and quite old. There is street noise, but in Florence I'm not sure you can get away from that. There were also a few kitchen items to be desired, but overall we enjoyed our stay, made use of the washer, and had plenty of towels and blankets. I would recommend this cute flat.

Nice apartment

We had a nice family trip in Florence,very convenient location,close to restaurants,tram,supermarket.The apartment is very comfortable and has a nice view of the Arno river,it has everything we needed to cook and wash the clothes,a.c. works very well.Would definitely recommend for families staying in Florence.

Great flat in Florence

We had a great time in the Riverfront Flat. The location was away from the main historical center but was an easy walk along the river. The road was busy and noisy outside but the bedrooms were at the back and the noise wasn't a problem for sleeping. Christina met us when we arrived and was extremely helpful showing around the place and giving us advice for the area. She was always available before with to answer questions. The apartment was very clean and just as the pictures showed. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked several meals there. The gas on the stove went out several times which was a bit frustrating. There is a grocery store a short walk away and a nice little playground our boys enjoyed. Overall, a great stay.

Comfortable stay for 5

Christina was nice, kind and informative. She showed us how to work everything in the house including the washing machine, which was very helpful. Depending on your appliances the unit has an electric outlet adaptor available for the German type plugs which are slightly different (larger) than Italian plugs. There were 2 bathrooms which was nice for a larger traveling party. There were a couple things that needed fixing, but she came back the day after we arrived to fix the shower head (one cupboard needs a new hinge). The nearby street is noisy, but manageable with earplugs or closing the windows and shutters. When the windows are closed up the two bedrooms are nice and dark. The bedrooms are quieter than the living area, but the larger master bed does squeak a little for those that are lighter sleepers. We found that mattress to be harder than the typical mattresses in the U.S. The river is right next to the property, so if you enjoy photography you can get some great sunset or night river photos with the bridge and city lights. It is only a 20 minute walk to many of the Florence sights, but the bus is also an option if you’re tired of walking – we got tickets close by at the tram station. We enjoyed the nearby pasticcerias on the Piazza Taddeo Gaddi roundabout for breakfast and were able to find everything we needed at the Esselunga Supermarket about a 5 minute walk away (special note: it is closed on Sundays, but the Penny Market is just a little further southeast on Via Domenico Burchiello just off Viale Aleardo Aleardi and is open from 9-1PM). Ballerini Pasticceria Cioccolateria nearby across the river also got a couple visits. :)

Florence riverfront appartment

Our week at Christina's apartment during the Christmas holiday was fabulous! The apartment had everything we needed; supermarket and restaurants close by, easy walk into the historic city center or metro station and parking just outside the door. The park across the river was an easy walk and absolutely beautiful. We could have easily spent a month there if we didn't have to go back to work... Thank you Christina!

Florence River Front Apartment

This apartment is so convenient for sightseeing in Florence. Close to the Metro, buses and walking distance (15-20 minutes) to Pont Vecchio and from there to Uffizi, Duomo and all the major sites. The apartment has two good sized bedrooms with closets, a full bathroom plus half bathroom, well equipped kitchen and washing machine. We enjoyed the living/diningroom and having a TV. Christina, the owner provided lots of information regarding good restaurants, grocery stores, transportation and sightseeing suggestions.

Spacious apartment on the Arno River

There were three of us...plenty of room...fully equipped kitchen...good light...close to public transportation...walking distance to the park, grocery store, cafe bars and restaurants.

Very nice experience!

We stayed at this very nice apartment in September 2011, and only wish we had booked for a longer stay. Nice, relatively quiet surroundings with groceries, restuarants and a supermarket close by. Parking right in front of the building. Easy access to the Historic Center. The flat itself is large and quite nice. And Christina, our host, really went the extra mile (I'd say several extra miles) to make our stay confortable and memorable. Will definitely go back, and stay longer!

Comfortable apartment by the Arno

We stayed in this apartment for one week during May 2011. It was truly an excellent experience. The front window view of the Arno and the Cascine Park on the other side of the river is pleasant indeed. The area was quiet at night, with traffic noise being confined to rush hours. The apartment is well equiped and the air conditioning, when needed, worked just fine. A supermarket is two blocks away, with pizzarias and a kebab outlet a half block away. Excellent restaurants are abut a third to half a mile away in the vicinity of San Frediano and Piazza del Carmine. We especially recommend Sabatino's Restaurant right by the San Frediano gate. It's an excellent family-run trattoria - and reasonably priced too. Christina Farina, the landlady, was most pleasant to deal with and most responsive to any requests for assistance or information. A very helpful aspect of this location is that the relatively new tramvia line has a station just a block from the apartment. Taking the tram (which runs every 10 minutes) puts one into the center of Firenze after an easy ten minute ride. Otherwise, the walk to the center from the apartment takes about 20 minutes. This is a very comfortable, well-located apartment.

Our family of three enjoy...

Our family of three enjoyed 5 nights in Christina's comfortable and convenient apartment. The kitchen is small but fully equipped. The living area is spacious and the bedrooms have adequate storage. Christina speaks fluent English and was eager to help us find our way around. The apartment is located across the Arno and downriver from the historic center, in a local's area. The market is about 3 blocks away. We strongly recommend this apartment.
