This did NOT seem like a legit Vrbo host. We had booked this a couple weeks out , traveling from out of state. We did not receive check in instructions until i had called the host at 2:30 when check in was at 3:00 . The "host" seemed as thought they had forgotten about our reservation, seemingly scrambling to send instructions. Upon check in we were able to get inside though there was no electricity at all in the apartment, but the building did have electricity. When we contacted the host to inform her she said that she would contact "them" and get the problem trouble shooted . After about 20 mins we had heard nothing about resolving the issue and when we reached back to the host they became unreachable. On top of this the place was a mess , wasnt cleaned there was still trash in the cans, dirty towels hanging on the railing,smears on the mirrors and the bed looked like it had been slept in... This was the worst experience ive had trying to rent a place. Vrbo did right by refunding us our money as we were unable to stay there and had to rent another hotel, although to truly resolve this issue they should NOT allow this host to host for Vrbo again.
