We enjoyed the apartment's spaciousness and being able to open the balcony windows each morning and evening. Kitchen was well-equipped. Late evenings (9 to 11-ish) were noisy with lots of honking from cars queuing by the train station, but was generally quiet after about 11pm. Neighborhood is somewhat sketchy -- we ran into people smoking crack along the sidewalk right around the corner from the apartment our first night there, so we stuck to major roadways and sidewalks (Bd d'Athenes to get to the harbor area) after that. Convenient to grocery store, train travel and direct bus to the airport.

Large, airy 5th floor apartment (with lift) close to St Charles Marseille station. Easy walk to Old Port and historic parts of town as well as lively multi-cultural areas, and good public transport links.Interesting decor, very comfortable furnishings and well-equipped kitchen. Hot-water supply slightly temperamental and elderly WC demands respect (as host had indicated) but this wasn't an issue for us. Would stay again.

The house was decent. A very small elevator and one of the bathrooms wasn’t a full toilet, so everyone has to use the master bathroom at some point. Unfortunately, the location was problematic. There was a homeless encampment 20 feet from our front door. This meant there were homeless people sitting on the front stoop as we tried to enter the building. Both the encampment and the train station traffic noises kept us up in at night.

Appartement spacieux et lumineux. Il y a 2 salles de bain avec 2 toilettes séparées, ce qui très appréciable. La cuisine est très bien équipée. L’appartement est en face de la gare, c est pratique, mais évidemment il y a pas mal de zonards comme toujours autour des gares.Le propriétaire est très réactif, il répond vite à toutes les questions et essaie d’accommoder au mieux ses hôtesQuelques défauts du côté chauffage et salle d’eau: le chauffage sous la fenêtre de la grande chambre ne marchait pas. Heureusement il y a une pompe à chaleur qu’on peut allumer pour un temps court car elle fait du bruit mais ça réchauffe vite.Les toilettes du fond ont un système pas très confortable, de même que la douche.Néanmoins nous avons passé un très agréable séjour, on a pu se loger à 5 et se sentir très à l’aise.

Die Wohnung ist hell, gut eingerichtet und ruhig. Sie liegt nahe am Bahnhof und an einer Metrostation. Der alte Hafen ist nur 15 Gehminuten entfernt. Unser Gastgeber hat uns sehr gut betreut und wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen.
