Stugan Àr fullt möblerad med tre bÀddar (en i full storlek och tvÄ tvillingar) som rymmer fyra (4) personer och tvÄ barnsÀngar (med madrasser) som rymmer tvÄ (2) personer. Max antal personer Àr sex (6) personer. [Observera att priset pÄ $ 110 per natt Àr baserat pÄ fyra personer. LÀgg till ytterligare $ 10. 00 / natt för varje ytterligare person över de fyra upp till högst sex. BarnsÀngar tillhandahÄlls endast pÄ reservationer för fem eller sex personer]. TillgÀnglig för anvÀndning oktober till mars, Àr en liten fungerande öppen spis i vardagsrummet som ger gÀsterna en mysig atmosfÀr medan du tar kyla ur en sval höst eller kall vinterkvÀll. Under mÄnaderna april till november finns ett picknickbord och kolgrill (kol ingÄr ej) bakom huset med en vacker utsikt över gÄrden och pittoreska södra bergen. Bredvid picknickbordet finns en inbjudande eldstad dÀr gÀsterna kan koppla av medan de njuter av en kvÀllsdryck, trevlig konversation eller en lugn stund. En sÀrskilt vÀlkomnande funktion efter en lÄng dag med sightseeing eller andra aktiviteter i omrÄdet. Uteservering tillhandahÄlls av Àgarna endast april till november. This was our second stay while touring Gettysburg battlefield. We really just had campfires and slept there. It is peaceful, comfortable and convenient. Hosts are very responsive and nice to deal with.

Cozy getaway

Clean very convenient and close to explore all Gettysburg has to offer. Very quiet and relaxing, we enjoyed the campfire. Would recommend for anyone looking for a clean quiet place to stay while seeing all Gettysburg has to offer.

Beautiful and comfortable home. When I opened the door, I immediately said out loud, "Oh my goodness, this is adorable"! No tv, and no internet made it quite adorable. The birds were awesome outside when we sat early in the morning.

Would have liked to know sooner that couldn’t invite guests back and the fact that we had toPurchase fire wood if wanted to use the fireplace when the cottage was in woods with wood lying around. We were visiting family and friends for celebration of life and my son and his family came in from out of town as well and we couldn’t have them over. Probably would not have stayed there if we would have known all the rules earlier. Overall, it was a nice quiet time. Had to check out early due to injury and surgery of my wrist.

Home away from home

A wonderful place to stay!! Clean, beautiful, inviting, and comfy.. highly recommend!! If i come back to Pennsylvania i will definitely stay here again.. i appreciate that the owner sat down and hand wrote a welcome letter, that meant a lot. The property felt like home to me. Everything was absolutely perfect!!

A lovely escape :)

My friends and I stayed at willow lodge while attending a wedding near by and this was a wonderful place to return to after long days of set up. Both Wendy and Larry were wonderful hosts who provided a wonderful home and were very easy to communicate with. While our cell service was spotty (no fault with the hosts, just our providers) we would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you again Wendy and Larry for extending your home to us ;)

Trip down memory lane

First time back to Gettysburg in 23 years. Grandparents used to take my siblings and I when we were kids. This trip I was able to take my 86 year old grandfather and mother. The Willow Lodge was great! Cozy camp feeling that made us feel right at home!

Wildlife and quiet

Wendy and Larry are wonderful. There was a problem with the AC so Larry came right over to fix it. Wendy gave us a lovely tour of the farm. It was great that they were so close for things like that. It was also great that it felt to isolated. The best of both worlds. I sat outside with my coffee every morning to watch the deer and rabbit that came out every morning. We had a nice fire going to the firefly show in the evening. I would highly recommend to others and want to go back myself.

The host was very kind to us. We booked our stay in 2024, however the dates fell on the week following Hurricane Helene. We live in Western NC which was devastated by flooding. We were unable to meet our reservations because of this. I messaged the host and explained what happened, and I received a phone call the same day from them. They offered us a refund or the option to move the days to the following year. We decided to keep the reservations and are glad we did.

This location is a beautiful rustic retreat! It's a peaceful place to get away to but still be just minutes away to Gettysburg and other historic sites to see. After your busy day of sightseeing, it's a quiet place to come rest and unwind. Our girls group traveled together and there was plenty of room for all 4 of us. We brought a couple of puzzles to do in the evenings! We enjoyed sitting around fire pit even tho we didn't build a fire. The Adirondack chairs are so comfortable!The owners were very responsive when we had questions. This is a great family-friendly place, too!We would definitely stay here again!During your trip I highly recommend Gettysburger if you love a good burger! I got the Elvis burger! It was the best burger I've ever had anywhere!!

Quiet and Secluded

Great quiet place to stay. About 20 minutes from Gettysburg. My teenagers didn't even complain about the lack of Wi-Fi or a TV. Highly recommend.

Lawrence and Wendy Shrader are the owners of Willow Lodge and Primrose Dale Farm. It is a working farm that produces corn, soybeans and grass hay.

Lawrence was born and raised in nearby Littlestown and Wendy in Gettysburg so both are native to Adams County. They also share a family background in farming.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

In 2006 Lawrence and Wendy began searching for the farm of their dreams...one that was not too far off the beaten path but far enough to provide the tranquility and pastoral setting they were looking for. Their search ended in 2010 when a 52 acre farm with two houses went on the auction block. Lawrence and Wendy moved quickly and with one swift sound of a gavel, Primrose Dale was born.

By offering Willow Lodge as a guest cottage, they hope to share with others the peace and tranquil beauty they found here in Upper Adams County.

Sitting back off the main road, the private gravel lane leads up through the woods to a guest cottage. An abundance of wildlife can be spotted from Willow Lodge. It is not a rare occurrence to see a buck or a doe with her fawn grazing at the edge of the woods. The sound of a woodpecker, the gentle cooing of a dove or an occasional 'hoot' of an owl is typical. The quiet beauty and the privacy of the location is unsurpassed
