Denna helt underbara Log Cabin Lodge är perfekt för den speciella familjen tillsammans eller för en romantisk semester med den speciella personen. De fyra sovrummen och 3 1/2 bad rymmer upp till 8 personer bekvämt. Det rymliga köket, matsalen och vardagsrummet ger gott om utrymme för familjesamlingar. Stugan är utrustad med två tvättstugor för bekvämt tvätt. Källaren erbjuder ett bonusrum färdigt som ett stort familjerum, och utrustad med en bar och biljardbord.

Verandaen, som omger 60 grader runt hytten, erbjuder en spektakulär utsikt över 10 miles från floden Ohio. Njut av att titta på båtar och pråmar som navigerar över floden, hjort och djurliv som vandrar i skogen, och till och med en enstaka flygplan som landar på floden. Vänd mot floden, verandaen erbjuder en marmor topp bar att sitta vid, njuta av en drink och njuta av den vackra utsikten.

My husband and I, took our six grandchildren on vacation to experience the Ark Encounter. The property was well equipped for our stay, and the children loved everything regarding the trip. However, the cabin itself, is a very loud structure, and I had never experienced a cistern water system, which was all very interesting. The televisions failed to operate properly, with 4 remotes. But we were so busy with adventures, that we didnt miss them much. The host were very informative and available. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

Family Spring Break

We were happily surprised find that the listing for four bedrooms 3 1/2 baths for this property turned out to be five bedrooms four bathrooms! One suggested place to go ended up being closed for quite a while, not a problem for us, but might be for other guests. All in all, an enjoyable location with great views of the Ohio River valley.

Short Getaway

We only stayed for 2 nights and were not in the cabin very much mostly just to sleep. The kitchen looked fully stoked if cooking while there. I will say if you have more than a few people the floors make a lot of noise making the lower level harder to sleep in if you are a light sleeper. The amenities do list hair dryer, but only one for 3 full baths so be prepared if large crowd. The view from the porch of the Ohio River was beautiful

Thanksgiving weekend

Since our new condo was not ready to move in, we needed a place for the family to have Thanksgiving weekend. The cabin is perfect. Plenty of room for everyone and a wonderful kitchen. The view is so nice but yet we were within 45 minutes of home. Made it easy for everyone to come and go. Thank you

Nice cabin

Could have been a little cleaner in some areas and air was set to 80 so we arrived at 4pm but at 1030pm it was still 78 degrees in the cabin. Had a small problem with hot water but Barry was responsive and came out that night to fix the problem. Overall, nice cabin and we had a good time.

Beautiful home and location!

The sunsets were beautiful off the deck! Plenty of space for vacationing with our young adult children. We all loved the home, the wildlife, and watching the river. We enjoyed the Ark Encounter and the Wright Patterson Air Force Museum, they were both excellent! Great communication from Barry.

Family stay

It was absolutely remote and private. We were visiting the Ark, Creation Museum and the Cincinati Zoo among others and it was conveniently located in the middle of our travels. The personal service Barry offered was above and beyond The Log cabin carried some sounds in the tri level but was excellent for our big group. The two year old was fascinated by the barges passing up and down the river.

50th Wedding Anniversary Family Ark/Creation Museum Trip

Our stay at the Jolly Cabin was a blessing as we celebrated 50 years of marriage with kids and grandkids and visited the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. The kitchen helped us host large family meals and we had gorgeous sunsets and fires at night. The kids enjoyed the basement hangout area. The scenic, hilly, rustic drive added to the adventure and we saw deer, heard turkeys, fireflies, and lots of other wildlife from the porches/decks.

A gorgeous house with gorgeous view

The house is well kept, well furnished, and is spacious. The owner ensures you can reach him if any issues arise. There are plenty of beds for large parties. The view off the deck and the fireplace are my personal choice for the best selling points of the place.

Kentucky Derby 2023

Great cabin along the Ohio River. Elevated views were fantastic. Big, lots of rooms and areas to gather. We had a great time and will attempt to stay here again should we attend another future Kentucky Derby. A little over an hour drive to Louisville. Thank you Barry!

Over the past five years we have allowed friends, family, church groups, non-profit organizations, and so many others to enjoy this awesome place to getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

In November of 2017 we decided to share it with the public through Homeaway.com.
