You’re just steps from the greenbelt and less than a 5-minute walk to Kauai’s best beaches!

The Space:

The Villas at Poipu Kai are just 15 years old and the newest in Poipu Kai—you won’t find a more comfortable, modern place to stay. Nestled along the coveted greenbelt, you're a short walk 6-7 minute walk from three amazing beaches, including Poipu Beach, recently named the #1 beach in America. This is one of the largest condos in the area, comfortably sleeping up to 6 (with space for small children), and ideal for both families and smaller groups.

The layout is all on one level with elevator access, so no stairs are required. Two private master suites each include their own full bathrooms. High-speed Wi-Fi is included, and additional sleeping for kids or larger groups is provided via floor mattresses or pack ’n plays. There are 2 King beds, and 2 twin beds.

The unit features brand new linens, updated kitchen supplies, beach gear, local artwork, and charming new decor throughout—it’s truly a standout place to stay.

Mike has a beautiful three bedroom unit with a spacious lanai within walking distance to the beach. Mike was super responsive and the check-in/check-out process was a breeze.

This place is perfect!

This was the perfect condo for our week in Kauai. Clean, quiet, and had everything we needed for the beach—chairs, towels, even a wagon to haul the kiddos around. The lanai overlooked the pool and was our go-to spot for breakfast. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Vacation in easy mode!

Staying here made our vacation easy. The washer/dryer in the unit was a lifesaver, the lanai was peaceful, and the kids loved being so close to the pool. Everything felt cared for and thoughtfully set up. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

The villa itself was beautiful, clean, and well stocked, with thoughtful amenities. Unfortunately, our experience was significantly affected by the hurricane and an extended power outage. We arrived Friday, the hurricane hit Monday night, and we left Thursday, spending more than two days without power. While we understand the storm was beyond the host’s control, communication and follow-up regarding our safety and needs were limited. The property was lovely, but the lack of support during the emergency made this a disappointing stay.

We’re disappointed by this characterization, particularly given the extraordinary circumstances and the amount of communication and assistance provided during the stay. Hurricane Lowell caused widespread damage and power outages across Kauai, including significant damage to several of our other properties. During the storm and its aftermath, we were simultaneously handling guest emergencies, property emergencies, coordinating repairs, and responding to properties with serious hurricane damage. Despite that, we exchanged multiple messages with this guest throughout the event, our local staff checked in and assisted at the property, and someone was sent over to help with conditions there. We also responded to their concerns regarding the smoke/CO detector and other issues. Suggesting there was essentially no communication or support does not accurately reflect what occurred. We’re glad the guest acknowledged that the villa was beautiful, clean, well stocked, and thoughtfully equipped. Unfortunately, the extended power outage was caused by a major island wide natural disaster and was entirely outside our control affecting 90% of the island. Our team worked throughout the emergency under extremely difficult circumstances to support guests as best we could. We understand losing power during a vacation is frustrating, but we believe every reasonable effort was made to assist during an unprecedented event.

LOVED this condo in Poipu. Very comfortable, very clean, comfortable beds, very well stocked kitchen. The host was very responsive. The location was great- overlooked the pool (which was very quiet) and was a 7min walk to the beach, and Brenneke’s restaurant. The nearby beach was lovely, and there was a grassy park area with playground equipment next to it. A bakery comes and sells goodies 6 mornings a week out of the Brenneke’s snack shop. The condo is located close to several shopping areas. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, this was a perfectly fine place to stay. The location and the condo complex grounds were both fantastic for our purposes. However, in terms of that extra level of care you often get in a high-quality VRBO, this one was a bit lacking. For example, there were no steak knives in the kitchen. There also weren't many beach towels provided. None of these things were by any means deal breakers, but they are indicative of the general level of care put into outfitting the condo. While we would be quite content to stay here again, we would also search VRBO and see if there was something else that might be preferable. Good, not great.

We did want to clarify that a full steak-knife set is located on the kitchen counter, and the condo provides six high quality beach towels. There's a substantial inventory of items in the garage which it sounds like may have been unfortunately overlooked during your stay. Would Absolutely Stay Again

This villa felt like home right away. The bedrooms were roomy, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were beautifully done with walk-in showers. The lanai was really big and perfect for relaxing in the evenings. We loved the short walk to the beach to watch turtles and sunsets. This place really checked all the boxes for a family-friendly and luxurious vacation spot. I recommend it.

Perfect for Families

We stayed in F210 with our family of six and it worked out perfectly. Three bedrooms and three full bathrooms meant everyone had their own space, and the open kitchen/living area was great for gathering together. The lanai overlooking the pool was our favorite spot for morning coffee. The walk to Poipu Beach was quick and easy, and the beach gear provided made days in the sun stress-free. The pool is AMAZING!!! There were days it was only our family enjoying it and I never saw more than 5-6 other people at any given time. Highly recommend staying here and this is our new go to spot.

Beautiful unit in an amazing complex

This is a spacious 3 bedroom unit that my family enjoyed for 9 nights. Two of the three bedrooms have attached bathrooms which was great so we all had our privacy. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and we loved our stay. The complex is also amazing. It has a fantastic pool that was never busy and a hot tub with a waterfall inside that the kids loved! My wife appreciated the gym too. Ive already recommended this unit to my family and are planning a return trip next year. Overall it was a great experience.

12 Nights In Paradise!

We stayed in this condo for 12 nights and it was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. The condo itself was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. The view of the pool from the lanai made mornings extra special—we had coffee and breakfast out there every day and it was so peaceful. The complex is beautifully maintained and feels very private, yet it’s only a short walk to the beach and several great restaurants which was super convenient. Everything about the condo and the property exceeded our expectations. it all came together to make this one of the best family trips we’ve ever had. We’re already talking about when we can come back!

We had a great time at Mike’s condo! Great central location in Poipu – it really is just a 5 minute walk to either Brennecke’s or Shipwreck Beach (and the Hyatt hotel), as well as Kalapaki Joe’s restaurant (reasonable prices, serves B/L/D). Kitchen is well equipped, beds are very comfortable - we definitely appreciated the full window shades! We ate most meals on the huge lanai. Very nice pool and hot tub. Mike was very responsive despite all the questions I threw his way! I highly recommend this unit, and would definitely stay here again.
