UPPDATERING: Just installerat en helt ny Sundance Spa badtunna!

Detta Àr vÄr familjesemesterbostad vid sjön Winnipesaukee, bara en kilometer frÄn Weirs Beach och en kort 7 miles till Gunstock Mountain! Super plats som ger fantastisk tillgÄng till allt som Lake Region har att erbjuda!

Detta Àr en Àkta timmerstuga (med namnet Winnipecabin av vÄra smÄ pojkar) med 3 sovrum, 2 badrum, stor inhÀgnad trÀdgÄrd, enkelstallgarage, badtunna och mer! Stugan ligger bara 500 fot (fjÀrde huset uppför gatan) frÄn sjön pÄ en ÄtervÀndsgrÀnd med delad tillgÄng (ca 25 fot bred) för att enkelt slÀppa en kajak, simma, svÀva eller isfisk pÄ vintern!

Det stora sovrummet Àr pÄ övervÄningen och har en queen size-sÀng med tvÄ vÄningssÀngar, TV och ett badrum. NedervÄningen finns det ytterligare tvÄ sovrum, alla med en full sÀng och ytterligare ett badrum med full tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare.

Det huvudsakliga vardagsrummet Àr öppet koncept med kök, matsal och vardagsrumsomrÄden. Vardagsrummet har en mysig gasspis och kabel-tv.

Stugan har en stor bakre veranda som gÄr lÀngs kabinen och har en ny badtunna för de kallare nÀtter, gasgrill och adirondackstolar för att slappa av.

GÄ ner frÄn verandan, Àr trÀdgÄrden plan och mycket rymlig med gott om plats för gÄrdsspel! Ta med majshÄl, hÀstskor, kanjam, etc och anvÀnd gÀrna eldstaden nÀr solen blir lÄg och marshmallow-begÀr trÀffar ditt parti!

Det finns en stor uppfart med gott om parkering och vi har ett enda stallgarage om du behöver lagra saker medan du Àr pÄ besök.

Platsen kan inte slÄ, super nÀra till allt. Det finns mycket att göra under varje sÀsong med sÄ stor tillgÄng till sjön och skidÄkning och allt annat regionen har att erbjuda!

We loved our stay at the Winnepecabin! The location is great with just a quick stroll to the lake, and the kitchen and hot tub were perfect for hanging with friends and catching up. Tons of amazing hiking nearby made for a perfect fall getaway. Our only complaint was that we didn’t stay longer to spend more time enjoying the cabin! Wendy was super responsive to all of our questions and so well-prepared with all of the information we needed. We will be back!

Gathering of friends

This cabin in the suburbs was a great location for old friends to meet up in the middle of winter from all over New England. The check in process was easy, the place was clean and inviting, and the hot tub was just what we wanted. The place had everything we needed in the kitchen. It lists a bunk bed, but it was actually 2 fulls and a mattress in the closet.. which was fine for us. The lake is just a few houses away and I assume you have access (it was a very windy cold weekend, so we couldn’t enjoy that part). The neighborhood was quiet, but I’m sure that may not be the case in the summer, but the parking and privacy was good at the house.

Great trip to the cabin

Hosts were very responsive to all our questions and super helpful. The cabin was great, clean, had all the necessities we needed and the hot tub was great to come back to at night. Wish we had longer to enjoy all the things, would love to book the cabin again in the future!

Beautiful location and home

The property is small, but the house is gorgeous. If you’re looking for the log cabin experience, you found it here. It is close to the water there are kayaks to use. Also, it’s very close to all the excitement downtown! So many things to do we really couldn’t do them all in a few days we were there, but it would highly recommend the tiki boats. It was so much fun ask for Steve he’s a sweetie.

Quick hiking getaway

We met up with our son and his girlfriend for a quick weekend hiking getaway. The cabin was cozy and clean, with easy access to stores and restaurants in the area. Communication with Wendi and Bobby was easy and clear. Overall perfect for our needs. Thanks for letting us stay!

Great cozy cabin for a weekend at the lake!

My group and I stayed at the cabin for a winter weekend and some pond hockey. The cabin is as advertised and Wendi was great to work with and very responsive to our questions. We had a great stay and would recommend to anyone looking for comfortable cozy spot to spend up at Lake Winnipesaukee.

Just like all the other reviews say. The house, location, check in and communication with the owners are all great. Particularly ideal is the late checkout. I have a family of 8 and getting packed up and out of a house by 9am-10am like a lot of properties want now a days is a major challenge sometimes. I wouldn't look anywhere else for a stay in Laconia.

Great for all group types and all seasons, read on...

We went in March for a ski / snowboard trip and chose this cabin due to the proximity to Gunstock Ski Area (11min drive). We very much wanted an outdoor hottub which this cabin has (fits 6). The hottub seemed brand, was very clean, modern and had great features like lights in the water and multiple jet settings. The hottub area is also in an area on the back deck that provides plenty of privacy. Also, there are lights along the roof line of the back deck area that were a nice touch once we found the remote to control them.. The cabin is beautiful on the inside. Downstairs you walk in to a dining room to your left, kitchen on your right, and living room straight ahead. The kitchen has many plates, glasses, silverware, and a corkscrew among other things included. There wasn't no dishwasher but we did not mind washing our own dishes. There are two bedrooms down the hall to the right past the kitchen which are good size each with lage enough beds for two. One room even had an additional fold out mattress in the closet that could work for one person. There was a heat zone thermostat in one of the rooms for that area. Another thermostat was next to the living room area. The living room has two couches. One was slightly larger than the other (think 3 couch cushions and 2 couch cushions). We noticed thr larger is actually a pull out bed as well if needed. Plenty if pillows and even blankets in the foot rest. The gas burning fire place in the living room was easy to use and kept us cozy as we watched a movie and played some card games. That's right, we found some games in the upstairs closet in the hallway. There are two full bathrooms with one on each floor so people can be showering at the same time if necessary. The upstairs bedroom is where we slept. I would consider it the master. In that bedroom is a large bed as well as a set of bunk beds. We actually noticed a cute area that was set aside with an additional small mattress perhaps suitable for a young child. There was a washer and dryer on the first floor for laundry as well. The WiFi worked great and the cabin comes with Netflix on the TV in the living room and master bedroom. You can login to other streaming services as well but be sure to log out when you're done. There are plenty of well written easy to follow instructions with pictures for how to use all of the features the cabin offers but the owner is also very responsive if anything should arise. Super close to the lake and hiking as well.

Great Family Friendly House Near Gunstock!

Our family of 6, including 4 kids (4-11), had an amazing time. Close to Gunstock with nearby access to restaurants and grocery stores. The house was super clean with nice amenities to keep the kiddos entertained! They were sad to leave. Looking forward to staying again the future!

The perfect getaway

I rented this cabin for my friends and I. We wanted a nice place to stay for a ski trip, and this cabin fit the bill! It was so cute and cozy. We were able to all hang out, play games and enjoy the hot tub. And the hosts were so accommodating! Would 100% stay here again!

Couples Weekend Away

We had a great weekend at "Winnipecabin" with our close friends and found it was the perfect place for relaxing! We took a short drive to Twin Barns Brewing to enjoy great drinks and live music. Cold nights made for perfect hot tub weather back at the house. Winnipecabin felt nice and comfy inside as well for watching movies and playing games in front of the nice stove! Exactly the winter getaway we hoped for. Thanks Wendi & Bobby!

We are an adventurous family of 5 hailing from Connecticut. Native's of Nebraska and Boston, we met on Grand Cayman island in our early 20's and never looked back. Since then we've added a few kids and our awesome log cabin up at Lake Winnipesaukee that our boys named Winnipecabin.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Wendi spent many nights in her childhood up at Winnipesaukee and Bobby, being from the midwest, often visited the large lakes in the Ozarks and Table Rock. When it came time to find the perfect spot for our family to get away to we found it in Winnipecabin and especially considering the insane amount of activities the Lake Region has to offer!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

I mean, it's a log cabin. There's something special and warm about a log home that we really wanted to have as a part of our family. Whether we walk up from a kayak at the cabin's water access or warm up by the fireplace or in the new Sundance Spa hot tub after skiing and snowboarding all day at Gunstock, the cabin is a cozy place to bring a family together.
