Newly Remodeled 3-bedroom, 2 full bath, home in beautiful Ocean Lakes Campground

Ocean Lakes has it all including golf cart and bicycle rentals. Seasonal Pools for all ages with slides, splash zone for the kids and a lazy river. There is an indoor pool in the event of foul or chilly weather. There is a laundry mat, grocery store, restaurant, arcade and miniature golf. You’ll find corn hole, basketball courts, play grounds and a whole lot more. Across the highway is a Walmart, Starbucks, Gretel’s Candy house and Meyer’s Ice Cream parlor. And now for the inside. The master bedroom has a king size adjustable bed and its own TV. The bathroom has an oversized walk-in shower with a seat, double bowl vanity, and toilet in an enclosed room. Both of the other bedrooms have queen size beds and one has an attached bathroom also, with a tub/shower and double bowl vanity. Bath towels, shampoo and conditioner are provided and there is a tv in both bedrooms. All bedrooms have ceiling fans. A hairdryer and flatiron are also provided. There is a coffee and tea bar off the fully furnished kitchen and a Keurig pot is available along with tea and coffee K cups. There is a washer and a dryer and laundry detergent and softener are provided as well. I have added an iron and ironing board and a pack and play for the little ones. A grill and outdoor seating are available on the front porch. There is plenty of parking. You receive a welcome basket filled with goodies. I am a new host and I welcome your feedback and comments on how I can improve your stay. And my house is a short 6 minute walk to the beach.

We had a great stay! The house was very spacious, clean, cozy, and felt like home. We really appreciated all the thoughtful extras—cold water in the fridge, snacks, games, coloring books, and plenty of bathroom and laundry supplies. Linens were provided, and having a washer and dryer was a huge plus. Check-in information was sent early and was very easy to follow. We would definitely stay here again!

Property was great but the Host was AMAZING!! We had some difficulties but she was patient and kind and just overall the most pleasant hostess!! 10/10 recommend, we’ll be staying with her again!!

Beautiful home! This was our first time staying at Ocean Lakes. Check in process was simple. The home is in a great location and close to the highlights of the park. Description and pictures don’t show how wonderful the home truly is. Very clean, spacious and FULLY stocked with all the home essentials and bathroom amenities. Bunny is an excellent host and we are excited to book for next year!

The property was wonderful. Great location in the Ocean Lakes community. 5 min golf cart ride to the water park, and it’s easy to dodge Golf Kart Parade at night but still get to the beach from here. Home has plenty of space and a wonderful nice covered deck. The Murphy bed in the 2nd living room is surprisingly comfortable and my 5 year old preferred that for the week. All in all it was a lovely time and we hope to return next year to this site.

It is a beautiful home. We enjoyed our stay and the children loved the snacks that were there for them. We had a game night with the games that were there. Will definitely love to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at this house. The home is beautifully decorated, very beach, clean, inviting, very homey feel. It also was fully stocked with everything anyone would need, from a large variety of games, toiletries, kitchen with everything you would need. You definitely feel right at home hereThe host was great. She was easily accessible, always there to answer questions, friendly, knowledgeable, felt like I knew her. Great place to stay!

We came down to Myrtle Beach as part of a baseball team playing at Ripken. I was unsure what to expect as we had never stayed here before. We arrived and were extremely pleased with the cleanliness, decor and the layout of the house! This house is BEAUTIFUL! The house has been completely updated. The layout is perfect as the master bedroom/bath is on one side of the house and the other 2 bedrooms/bath are on the other. There are 2 living rooms and literally the kids had their own half of the house which gave the adults a much-needed break. The porch is huge and a great place for relaxing or entertaining. We used the (well-stocked) coffee bar daily which was such a treat!! We went to visit some of the other baseball parents at their respective "homes" and theirs were awful in comparison and some had even paid more than we did! It made me appreciate "Mimsie's Place" even more. Bunny was very responsive from the initial booking process right through to our departure. Golf carts are a must around this community, and I suggest you rent directly from Bunny as her golf cart is much nicer and less expensive than the ones you rent from the campground. If this house is available for the week you are looking, I HIGHLY recommend reserving it as you will NOT be disappointed!!

We enjoyed our stay! The house was very spacious for a family of 6 and we all had our own space! Kitchen was nicely stocked where we were able to cook every night. Loved that there was a dishwasher and washer and dryer! Location of the house was perfect! Close to everything but still a quiet area and street.

I have vacationed at Myrtle Beach since I was a child. I always had a desire to have a house there and my husband and I had decided we were going to buy one when he retired. However, shortly after he retired, he passed away. But I decided I was going to follow through with our plan to have a beach house. My 5 grandchildren refer to me as Mimsie and I have named my beach house “Mimsie’s place”. So take your shoes off, sit back and enjoy your Vacay at my new home away from home, as my other home is in Charleston, West Virginia.
