Denna unikt belägna stuga består av en delad bottenvåning som har ett utrustat kök med frukostbar. Det väl presenterade vardagsrummet nås från en intern hall, därifrån är det nedre badrummet som har en elektrisk dusch över ett generöst badrum. Solrummet / matsalen ligger via franska dörrar från vardagsrummet, alla har bekväma sittplatser för avkoppling. På övervåningen finns 2 sovrum, 1 dubbel och 1 tvilling, ett litet luftande skåp som håller pannan också på denna våning. Ett nytt inbyggt kök ligger utanför den nya entrén till vänster och till höger finns tillgång till ett nytt sovrum med dubbelsäng i bottenvåningen med eget badrum. Alla rum i denna härliga stuga har fantastisk havsutsikt och är ett fantastiskt läge för antingen en strandsemester och / eller bas för att utforska den fantastiska kusten Pembrokeshire och alla dess många attraktioner. Pendine har en underbar 7 mils strand och är världsberömd för landhastighetsrekordförsök, ett museum i byn är tillägnad sin berömda historia. Town of Laugharne känd för sin anslutning till Dylan Thomas och hans Boathouse är bara 4 miles away.

Wow, what an amazing place! We have admired this house for several years when visiting Pendine and didn’t realise you could rent it! We stayed here for a week during the summer holidays as a family of 6 (5 adults, 1 child and a dog) and loved every minute. Gaynor was a lovely host, very thoughtful and responded to queries promptly. She also sent us some useful tips, not only for our stay but what’s around the area. We were provided with a welcome pack and the house had lots of equipment, even a wide range of cleaning essentials. You will never experience a better view than this, we had some wonderful sunrise and sunsets from here and the sound of the sea was so relaxing. The only downside is the road to get to it (which was advertised and explained) It is very narrow which will just about fit one car and not a proper road. If you aren’t confident at driving or unable to walk well, this may not be the place for you. There is a walkway down the garden which brings you out at the side of the Springwell inn and you can then get straight onto the beach. We really loved our stay. Thank you again Gaynor, we hope we can stay another time.

Absolutely the most beautiful view, couldn’t wait to wake up early to enjoy the view.Access to the beach through the garden ( a steep garden) so not really suitable for very young children .

beautiful view in a special holiday home

The view is amazing. Right on the beach with a view of the promenade. We were able to sit undisturbed on the "terrace" and watch the crowds on the beach. At night we could hear the waves. The house is very simple - but we weren't expecting luxury. We did think the kitchen was great though - everything was there and modern and functional with a dishwasher and washing machine. A very nice holiday!

Excellent!!! Loved it! ❤️

We had an amazing week! We loved our stay so much, even the 4 teens! And dogs! The area is fantastic, the view from the house amazing! And listening and watching the ocean from the patio was just perfect. The garden was brilliant, our dogs were in their element. All amenities were at the bottom of the garden, including an old school pub which did such good home cooked food, we ate there 3 times and daily popped in for a drink. The staff were excellent! The weather we got was mixed from wet/windy to glorious sunshine and still fantastic. The Cliff walks were great, we were all in the sea every day with the paddle boards/kayaks/body boards. It was so relaxing and perfect. The kids met locals the same age who took them cliff jumping and exploring! All the locals were extremely friendly and helpful! The Chinese was delicious, the bistro was fab with live music and cocktails. The cafe by the pit stop shop also had great food! We only ventured out one day along the coast road through the beautiful seaside hamlets to Tenby & then popped in Heatherton Activities Centre which was well priced & excellent for a variety of ages! It was so relaxing and I’m so pleased we decided to not go abroad or to Cornwall! Gaynor was very attentive & an exceptional host. So grateful to her! Thank you for making us fall in love with the area & with wales! We can’t wait to revisit! ❤️ The only thing that would of made it better would be a king size bed & thicker duvet downstairs!

Nice view

Lovely view, nice cottage. Not good on wet days when having to walk up grassed hill to cottage with only a railing halfway up when you come to the steps part. Some health and safety needs looking at inside cottage had a few incidents happening our stay.

Clifftop location

A fabulous location and a really super property with lots of nice touches. Best restaurants are in Saundersfoot (especially the Stone Crab if you can get in!). Easy access to the beach and lovely long beach walks when the MOD red flags are not flying. Spent lots of time on the patio with a cold drink enjoying the view.

Best location ever!

We stayed in this really charming, and well equipped holiday home in the May half-term. My family and I had an amazingly enjoyable and relaxing holiday in this beautiful place. Pendine was lovely. We had lovely days chilling out and rock pooling on the beach. Having morning and evening swims/paddles, and lovely walks through the surrounding area. All my boys were entertained aged 5, 9, 16 and 18. We had a lovely day out walking around Laugharne, and a shopping/sightseeing trip to Tenby. Both were fantastic and enjoyed by all too. The star factor of the holiday is the location of the property, and the spectacular views. We hope to return.

The best location in Pendine

This is a fabulous property in the number 1 location in Pendine. The pub, shops and beach are seconds from the house. The house is peculiar but very spacious. It isn't very modern but extremely functional with loads of space. Gaynor was really helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We loved our stay at GORSE Cottage and will be back!

Perfect for us ...

Reviews are such a personal thing, depending so much on individual preferences and expectations, but for us Gorse Hill cottage proved to be the perfect holiday let. The location was wonderful with the most constantly amazing sea view and a very short stroll down the garden to the beach. We love walking and swimming, which are easy to do from the property and so we only ventured further afield by car once during our week’s stay. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed. We thought it was fabulous.

A piece of heaven

This was our second visit to Gorse Hill Cottage, the last time was 4 years ago. It is just fabulous! We were lucky enough to get amazing weather, which really helps when you have 3 kids! We did trips to Saundersfoot, Tenby, Barafundle Bay, a boat trip from Tenby, and just lots of time on the beach. It was still quiet since Welsh schools weren't on holiday yet. The cottage is really well equipped and had everything you will need and more. With COVID restrictions they have removed all games and dvds, but that was fine...though we did wish we had clothes pegs with us to hang out wet clothes from swimming. We didnt get a chance to eat in the restaurant next door this time (we did last time and it was great) - the chinese restaurant we got a takeaway from, and as I collected I spotted that it has fabulous views so probably worth dining in there. If you are considering this property, ,don't hesitate - it really is amazing!!!!!

Stunning location

I doubt there is another property in Pendine with a better location and outlook than this one. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The host Gaynor was easy to contact and very helpful. We had a wonderful week walking and if we're back in the area we would definitely book it again.

Fantastic views

The property is exactly as the details on Vrbo. The views are breath taking and we sat for hours just watching the sea and the beach activity. We caught the local bus to Laugharne a few times and caught a taxi home. Laugharne is a picturesque village with a castle and a lovely place to wander around. Dylan Thomas lived and wrote here. Browns restaurant is fabulous and the cocktails in Portreeves are great. We had a wonderful holiday. The only downside was 2 days of miserable weather!

MAGIC LOCATION

there is no doubt this is a wonderful cottage with the most stunning views, it really was special. the beach is magnificent. its very quiet and the house is well presented, clean, tidy and plenty of space especially for baby. there is a pub at the bottom of the garden which is a bonus too! overall it really is a wonderful, peaceful spot with unrivalled views. we will be back no doubt! only one small gripe was that the shower was unable to be used in the main bathroom as the hot water string had been pulled off by previous inhabitants. there is another ensuite shower but in the mornings when everyone wanted to get ready (4 adults and a baby) it was a bit of a pain. i did mention it on day one but unfortunately it wasnt sorted for the stay. I am sure it will get sorted but it just presented logistical problems for getting ready etc in mornings. no biggy, did not affect how magic this spot and cottage really is! :)
