We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 week stay here. It felt like our home away from home. The hostess, Jane, was very responsive when we had questions and was a pleasure to work with. Let me break down the different things that we liked the most:- The Condo: The condo was clean and well furnished. There was a TV and a ceiling fan in every bedroom and in the living room (this was important to us). The beds were very comfortable. There were 2 balconies for us to sit out and enjoy the views.- The Resort: Bahama Bay was a big part of what we enjoyed about our 4 week stay. They have 4 different pool areas, each with a hot tub to service guests in different areas of the resort. There is a nature trail that goes around 2 lakes in the resort. It's about 3/4 of a mile and I walked this every morning. I would see all kinds of wildlife on these walks - and on one walk I saw an alligator! The resort has a spa, a gym, shuffleboard, playgrounds for the kids, a restaurant and a bar. The staff everywhere is very friendly. The whole resort is gated and staffed 24/7.- The Location: We found the location to be perfect for us. For routine things, we only had to drive 1 block to get to Publix. Drive another 5 to 15 minutes to get to Walmart, Target or any retail place you may want. Disney parks are around 20-25 minutes away. Clearwater Beach (on the gulf) and Daytona Beach (on the ocean) are each about 90 minutes away.I highly recommend staying here.

The facility is okay, the pools and the grounds, but the unit we stayed in building 3, was sooo dated and run down. Broken furniture from 20 years ago, the bathrooms were stained and my little ones didn’t feel comfortable showering, as you enter the place smelled of old mildew carpet. This place need a total renovation and update and should not be rented

Great place to stay

We lived, except for the young security guard with a mullet. He was very rude us checking in and to other people swimming at the pool. He needs to be informed that 7 pm is not sundown in florida on July 4th.

Great Place

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was beautiful, clean and thoughtfully stocked with linens, toiletries, kitchen supplies etc. Our family enjoyed the Disney theme parks, which were close to the rental as advertised. We would definitely stay again. Thank you

Better than expected

The condo was much better than the pictures show. It was comfortable, roomy and clean. The beds are very comfortable. They have a new sofa sleeper in the living room not shown in the pictures. It is comfortable. Nice dishes and silverware. Only 1 frying pan available. Loved this place and I would definitely stay here again.

7 Weeks at Bahama Bay

Bahama Bay offers so much for those wishing to have a time of rest and relaxation but there are also things to do if you are looking for activities: pickle ball, tennis, shuffleboard, trivia nights, karaoke nights, etc. The proximity to Universal, Disney, Old Town, Gatorland, mini golf or other places is a plus. The Staff at Bahama Bay are friendly and helpful.The unit that we were staying in was clean although dated. There were a few issues that came up but staff was able to help. There was an issue with a week in the middle of our 7 week stay where we had to pack up everything, vacate our unit and relocate to another unit to unpack for one week, pack up again and then move back to our original unit, unpacking again. The owner did compensate us for two nights stay because of the inconvenience. It would have been much easier for the "double booking" to be the ones that had to use a different unit for the one week.

Excellent Stay

Townhome was exactly as described. Plenty of room for the seven of us. Complex had at least 3 pools that I know of. Check in was friendly, quick process. All in all would not hesitate to stay here again.

I was a bit disappointed with our stay, in the second bedroom only one outlet worked, when I tried to use the spray hose on the sink the entire fitting it rests in came out with the hose, one coffee for 6 people for two days, when I called to check out the lady I spoke to about the issues acted like I was inconveniencing her by telling her that was really the part that bothered me.

Wonderful

The rooms, living room, and kitchen were spacious enough for my family and in-laws. We had a blast at the communal pool and dock! It was one of the best places I’ve stayed in Orlando! Love the privacy, security, and space.

upon arrival, tired and sleepy from drive. We were surprised to see that we had to take all the luggage up stairs to the room, there was no elevator. I am handicapped, my sister is also handicap so this was a BIG problem for us.

We've lived in several resorts in Orlando. But this is the only one we fell in love at the first visit, and keep coming back. Believe you would like to come back again as we do.

Went there again in July. That was awesome. Newly upgraded kid's splash area is great. Even adult wants to 'Splash'. Digital TV channels give you more choice. Wish you all enjoy!
