Quiet and safe studio by the gardens with an in-ground pool access.

Get ready to relax in this welcoming studio in Shreveport. This peaceful, quiet and safe retreat features a cozy studio with a full size bed, a modern bathroom with a shower, and an additional office nook with a comfy sofa bed. The space is 300 square feet with all amenities in the kitchen nook. Guests can unwind in the tranquil surroundings listening to the local birds, freshen in the in-ground pool and take advantage of the AC and heating inside. You can sit by the fireplace and enjoy the warmth (Sorry, logs are not provided). When it is time to wind down you have a high speed internet with 36” tv for your use. You are welcome to bring your favorite pet, (Pet-fee is per a pet), preferably small sized dog. Unfortunately, the pet is not allowed in the pool area. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Shreveport and our studio-bungalow has to offer. Please make a note that the Poolhouse sits attached in the back of garage on a lot with a main family house. This makes your stay safe and quiet from outside noise of the city. Pool is shared with hosts’ family with private access to the VRBRO guests only. No outside visitors are allowed. If you are bringing a pet, fee is per a pet and must be noted and paid ahead of time.

This is a GREAT get away spot! The neighborhood was nice and peaceful and the accommodations were exactly as outlined. I would recommend for a quick quiet night and afternoon or morning by pool.

The pool was clean and inviting. The yard was lush and relaxing. The kitchenette was well-supplied. The sitting area was comfortable and spacious. The neighborhood is historic and has that old town feel.

I stayed for 11 nights... longer than I would recommend anyone stay. It's more like a large hotel room.Small refrigerator and sink; I had to ask for a dish towel.The photos are a bit misleading -- the path through the gate to the sliding door was not nearly as pristine as advertised. There were leaves, dirt, and an old, dirty door mat. Not well attended to.I didn't use the pool as I felt uncomfortable with the owner living right there.

Thought it was a nice secluded studio. This was a pool house connected to someone's house who lives there. There is no privacy. The pool was nasty. We did not even stay here, we ended up having to rent a hotel room.

You are leaving a bad review for a nice place because you did not read the description. Please try to take responsibility on that. It is not nice to lie either: we work very hard on our pool upkeep all year round. It is never ‘nasty’. It would have been more normal from you to communicate your issues to me rather than just leaving the place open with keys still inside without saying a word. I was disappointed as well.

I cant say enough about this rental or the owner. The room and accommodations are quaint and comfortable. I had everything I needed and the bed is absolutely awesome! It’s a quiet neighborhood and I had my own little place to enter and exit the premises. I would give this rental 10 stars if I could.

The Host was excellent. Communications were outstanding! The property is very cozy, clean, and close to my favorite street, Youree Drive, without being directly on the street. Loved the BED!!! This was like an Efficiency Apartment. Peaceful. It is not in the main house, located behind the main house. I wished I could have gotten in the POOL!!! Not a polar bear. Spacious in the common area. The kitchenette was everything needed. Due to the size of the Bathroom, I would caution future Guests to consider that it is a little ‘close’ in there. Mobility navigation may be a little challenging. I met the challenges and won! (for example - I am under 5’5”, weighing in at over 170 but under 220). Would also caution wheelchair-bound persons unless you have help getting to and from the front door. But once inside, awesome stay!!! I slept and didn’t even think about LEAVING!!!

I think the description and the photos were very misleading on what was provided when we got there. The entry into the property is on a side area that was not indicated instead of being the true address overall. I think overall, the accommodations were not what I was expecting.

I am sorry if you misunderstood the description. We try to provide clear understanding of the property and do find many times people do not read the description, which does state that the Poolhouse sits in the lot of the main family house and outside guests are not allowed. We also have included 20$ pet fee per a pet. If you bring a pet, you are supposed to let us know and pay the fee ahead of time, per a pet. All entrance instructions are also clearly stated in the instructions that all our guests find in the email automatically send by VRBRO. We have two entrances to the Pool House, pool side and the other, both depicted by real photos. When coming with pets guests can not use the poolside entrance.

I especially love the forestry scenery of Broodmoor Neighborhood and the quietness of simple ordinary living. The shops and hospitals are all in a convenient distance.
