Sitt vid bÀcken och lyssna pÄ vattendraget eller mysigt upp till den "lilla" vedeldade spisen för att komma bort frÄn allt. Vi har ocksÄ en eldstad utifrÄn - snÀlla ta med trÀ om du vill anvÀnda. Detta Àr en 3-nivÄ stuga - det finns en spiraltrappa för att komma till 2: a vÄningen som Àr smal och kanske utmanande för Àldre / eller inte sÄ smidiga mÀnniskor. Trapporna till 3: e vÄningen Àr vanliga trappor och sovvÄningsomrÄdet pÄ tredje vÄningen har lÄgt i tak som du kanske inte kan stÄ rakt upp. Kul liten plats att vila huvudet och om du letar efter nÄgot annat ... dÄ skulle detta vara platsen för dig!
Ligger precis vid Minnesota State Snowmobile spÄr. SpÄr ocksÄ bra för promenader / 4 rullar / cykling. Vi har kycklingar och en hund pÄ vÄr egendom. Du Àr inte ensam om den hÀr egenskapen vi bor i huset till vÀnster om stugan.

Pleasant cabin, unpleasant owner

There were definitely some pros and cons. I’ll start with the pros 
 My friend and I had a wonderful time, especially the first day. The cabin was clean with fresh bedding and towels. The location was in the woods but not far from the town with plenty of parks to go to nearby. Although the cabin is adjacent to the main house, we felt like we had some privacy. Now for the cons. On our second full day, the shower head broke when we tried to adjust it. It clearly didn’t break from us and had mineral damage. Regardless, we were forced to pay for this. Which may have even been forgiven if the owner hadn’t been so rude with her language in the messages to us. On this same day at night, we also saw a mouse running around on the first and second floors.Overall, as long as no issues come up in which you have to communicate with the owner, you’ll probably be fine. The cabin is VERY small and narrow and the attic ceiling is lower than it appears in the photos, and you aren’t as secluded as you might think from the photos, but I feel like the price reflects many of these imperfections.

Wonderful weekend

Everything is as promised and we enjoyed the house. Enjoyed talking with Tanya and Jasper and one of the chickens visited us on the balcony. We also enjoyed walking by the creek.It is on the list of properties we want to come back to next year.

love visiting Winona

Weather was better than good for autumn in Minnesota, lots of trails to walk, only disappointment was the main reason we went down, to check out the Maritime Art Museum, not impressed.

Great peaceful Cabin

Great stay at this cabin just outside Winona. Place was advertised, and was everything expected. Very nice property owner. I would definitely stay here again.

Weekend getaway

We had a great time in this lovely property. The location was very convenient to town, but you also felt out in the country with all the trees - great star gazing from the balcony!

We sincerely enjoyed the "tiny house" feel of the cabin, perfect for a weekend stay for 2 people. Loved being able to see all the wildlife, as well as interact with the chickens and Jasper the dog. Damon and Tanya were so kind and polite and really gave us room to just rest and enjoy the quiet. Amazing fireworks show for the July 4th holiday, even though they were delayed a day due to rain. We really loved sitting on the second story balcony and just listening to the nature sounds! Clean, quiet, comfortable and affordable. Would definitely do this again! It was also very wonderful that their house rules sheet included a listing of things to do in the area - helpful when you're not from there. Easy parking and access, and just the right distance from town that you can enjoy the quiet.

Winona Retreat

I absolutely loved my stay, the property was fantastic and Winona is a beautiful place. I was by myself for some solitude and the creekside cabins get away was a great fit.

We enjoyed our time here. Close to main roads and close to the State Parks for great sight seeing.

Nice getaway.

This was a nice property, it was disconnected from town to where it felt like you were out of town and where you were away from people. But also it wasn’t far away from town either which was nice.

Quirky Little Place

This place was cute. Stairs are a challenge, not for older people or young kids. Wish the TV was located upstairs with the couch or there was an additional TV up there. The ducks and chicken were great to see. The acorns dropping on the metal roof sounded like gun fire! All and all it was a fun experience!

We just did a major remodel of the cabin so if you have been here before you will love all the upgrades!!! If not, WELCOME! I can’t wait for you to enjoy the new space!

We bought this property approx. 4 years ago... knowing it needed some TLC... however, we couldn't beat the fact it was minutes away from town and had a country like setting. There is a garage located next to the driveway of the cabin where we have a renter and little did we know my really good friends uncle lives there... small world indeed. He still lives there and is a great cook.. :)
