Nice place for a getaway

My dog and I stayed there for a little less than a week and it was very convenient. The property manager is very kind and easy to communicate with. The only downside is the neighborhood is the tiniest bit sketchy. Otherwise, the property itself is phenomenal— fully stocked with kitchen appliances and tools, insanely fast wifi, and a very “at home” feel. The best part? It’s only a 10 minute drive from Charleston AFB!

This house should not be in VRBO

The beds where not clean between tenants. Floor was dirty. We had to go get mop and cleaners to clean the property. Fans where not clean and the heater quit working in the middle of the night.

Kind of rough part of town, home needs some maintenance, but nice owner.

My wife and I stayed here for about a week. The home was not perfect, but did the job. Issues we experienced: -Upstairs toilet leaks water out of the tank when flushed. We flushed it twice through the week and it leaked both times. -Washing machine leaks water out of the bottom when ran. We still did two loads of laundry and it didn't flood the laundry room by any means, but a noticeable amount of water did come out on to the floor. -More of a minor issue, but we both had difficulty with connecting to the internet the whole time on all of our devices. My wife was unable to connect her phone throughout our entire stay. -North Charleston is not a very safe area. The neighborhood didn't seem extremely unsafe, but my wife worked at a store about a half mile down Rivers and they had to hire security guards to escort them to their cars at night due to people being robbed in the area. Walking anywhere outside of the neighborhood after dark probably isn't a great idea. -Overall the home is slightly outdated. It could use new paint on some walls to cover stains/dirt, it wouldn't hurt to reinforce the door frames as they both seemed loose, bedroom doors had fitment/latching issues, some old wires (look to be computer related and don't have current flowing in them *as far as I could tell*) are sticking out of walls in both bedrooms, pots and pans in the kitchen are old and flaking paint, metal ventilation covers are rusting/fit poorly in bedrooms. Good things: -The owner, Mindy, was very friendly and responsive when I would contact her with questions. -The internet was very fast when we were connected to it. -The neighbors we met were friendly. -All kitchen appliances worked well. -Both beds are comfortable and the home's climate control works very well. Overall, the good things about the house and the owner add some points the score, but there are some big issues that need to be fixed. I think hiring an inspector to go through the home and point out things that need to be repaired or adjusted would do a lot of good and probably make this a 5 star house. We appreciate the owner's attitude and hospitality and we wish them the best.

Property was nice, quiet and relaxing.

Good property. But best of all was the service of the property owners. If something broke it was either fixed or replaced within a timely manner. If I needed anything they were more than willing to provide. Top notch customer service.
