This VRBO is in a great location directly across from Smather's Beach and a long paved running/biking trail. The place was very clean and comfortable. Conveniently close to the airport. We had a dedicated, covered parking space for our golf cart that was close to the elevator. The elevator opened right to the front of the VRBO so luggage, groceries, etc. were easy to bring in and out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The accommodations were just as pictured. The view of the water was amazing! We had a slight problem with the air conditioning the first night and after contacting the host somebody was sent out right away to fix it and problem was solved! The beds were comfortable, they were plenty of towels and washcloths for the entire week. We spent a couple days at the pool which was very nice!

Nice Location. Close enough to everything in Key West, but quiet at night for a good night's sleep. Nice view from the room. Room was very comfortable, and kitchen was great. The Pool and Hot Tub were very nice too. People who lived at the location were quite nice too. The only slight negative is that the elevator was being repaired, but I needed the step anyways.

Very nice amenities

We enjoyed our condo and found the property to be top shelf. The residents were friendly and the location was central to all we did on the island.

Great views and location

Excellent views of the water from the living room, balcony and master bedroom. Two twin beds in second bedroom were great for adult kids. Great apartment that is across the street from the beach and sunset water sports location. Will stay there again.

A great condo with an amazing view!!!

Very nice p!ace to stay in Key West. Steps away fromSmathers Beach! Only thing was I love to cook and would love to had a crock pot available. I know most people eat out on vacation so it would not matter to most. I would recommend this condo for your next stay in Key West.

This was a great location to be close to the beach and Key West activities without having to be right in the middle of the chaos which is Duval Street. We had a great time, the unit was well furnished, clean and stocked. Would stay there again. Philip

Family trip to Key West

The Sea Orchid at the La Brisa condos was perfect for our family trip. The view from the balcony was beautiful! We even had the good luck to see a rainbow one morning. The condo and property are well taking care of and clean. We made several meals at the condo and the kitchen was one best I've used on vacation because of the supplies (pots, pans, dishes, utensils). The location is great because of the views, access to the public beach, and easy drive to rest of the island.

Nice place

I enjoyed this property, comfortable bed, good shower, comfortable living room furniture, and a nice view of the Gulf of Mexico from the tiled balcony/patio. There was some noise from the busy street, but it was really only bad on the weekends.

Key west condo

The property was great. Loved the location and the convenience to town and the beach. Great views and loved the porch. Beds were a little dated and hard in guest room. Traffic was loud during the day but calmed down at night.

All good here, except for bed bugs

The property was clean, but I gave one star, cause it has bed bugs. Me and my wife had bites all over our legs. We had other small issues which were not major, i wont mention that.

Our priority is to provide a clean and well maintained property. There were no reports to us or any documentation such as photographs to support the claim that our condo has bed bugs. If you did in fact has bites on your legs it was most likely from Noseeums, which are very common on the island especially near water and this condo is directly across the street from the ocean.

Pictures don’t do this property justice.

We loved this property. The pool and the hot tub are beautiful, behind the tennis courts there are grills. The beds are comfortable and the giant fridge were a major plus. Smathers beach is a short walk away. The airport is less than 10 minutes away. Our only difficult was finding the right building. On the inside of the circle you will see a red "E" that indicates the correct elevator tower. It is the first one on the left when you enter the development from the automatic gate.

Pros: 1.pool was warm and clean2. Hot tub was enjoyable 3. Felt like a safe area4. Place was clean 5. Lots of towels and toilet paper shampoo and conditioner provided hand soap and dish soap laundry pods dishwasher pods 6. Shower pressure was strong , drained well , water had no bad Oder 7. large fridge 8. Lots of kitchen dishes 9. Washer and dryer both worked well 10. Bathrooms are very spacious Cons:1. Ac cools every room except master bedroom windows leak heat and that room stays warm and makes it hard to sleep 2. Stove burners don’t hold temperature sometimes gets really hot even on low3. Master bed is still a coil mattress very uncomfortable 4 . The seagrass smell is very overwhelming couldn’t use balcony If you receive and email about early check in , note this does expire even if the email doesn't state it and they will not let you call in and pay to check in early . We drove 20 hours without stoping arriving 6 hours early called for early checking and they said the offer had expired we would need to wait till 3 ( unit has been empty for the two days prior ) Front gate was broke and wouldn’t close .

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Making the arrangements was easy. It was a little inconvenient to have to go to the office to check in instead of getting a code and going right to the property. I would suggest offering a little more information for people getting there for the first time. We spent a lot of time searching ways of transportation, i.e. bus availability,Duval loop , taxi’s etc. as we were not in the center of Key West. Uber was readily available. The location was terrific with a beach right across the street. The office did not have much information about transportation into the main attractions. We did a lot of researching prior to going to Key West but it would’ve been nice if some information was there at the condo

Great location, but didn’t like the current residents

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We checked in late evening. I noticed a few smaller insects as we turned in lights in the kitchen and bathrooms. The next morning I saw several more. I sent pictures to our extermination company at home. Unfortunately I was correct. The current residents were German cockroaches. I notified the leasing office the morning of the second day. On the morning of the third day as I opened the reservoir to add water for a cup of coffee a few more roaches crawled out of the reservoir. At that point I called the office and stated we can no longer tolerate the conditions. They moved us to a diff ent location that evening. I do appreciate the fact that within two days of us notifying the office they relocated us for the remainder of our vacation. However having a night free a few nights free or being compensated for the move would have been a nice gesture other than just expecting us to be grateful they moved us out of a roach infested location.
