Njuta av en vacker, rymlig, tyst oas på stranden av Sturgeon floden. Med 3 sovrum, kommer det att sova 6-8 vuxna bekvämt. 1 1/2 bad, stor öppen spis, stora däck, full och välutrustat kök. Linne och ved ingår.

Ligger ca 2 miles söder om Burt Lake, är det bekvämt beläget ännu samtidigt privata nog att sträcka ut och slappna av. Hela vägen från Rail-trail för cykling, vandring, osv .. Det har fasad och enkel tillgång till Sturgeon floden för fiske, kanot, kajak, etc ...

Retro Decor with Modern Technology

Our family stayed Mid-June and used the house as our home base while doing day trips in the area. The decor is definitely retro which the kids found really fun. Necessities like the shower and laundry were updated and modern which us adults loved. The house was clean, furniture was comfortable and the views out the bank of windows were unbeatable! The only minor complaint we had is that the mattresses were extremely noisy with every move you make but that didn't stop us from crashing every night from all the fresh air. The neighbors were very respectable and never complained when the dogs barked. The Owner was also very responsive when we ran into any questions or concerns. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Comfortable property. The shower had plenty of hot water. Unfortunately, it is upstairs. People with ambulatory issues will have difficulty managing the stairwell. It was fairly clean. A little dust and spider webs around the edges. Nothing out of the ordinary for a cabin. The owner was quick to resolve any issues. He replaced the DVD within 4 hours as the remote wouldn't work to operate the player.Well equipped with towels, dishes and especially games and books. We came to kayak but the river was blocked due to down trees from ice storms in the spring. The owner had very helpful info regarding the routes available on the river.

Awesome vintage cabin on the river

This is a really cool property with a great view of the river nearby. Huge fireplace with tons of firewood, interior decor is definitely vintage, but I think charming now. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfectly tranquil. Felt like a cabin in the woods, (with the amenities you would want and/or need), which is what I was looking for. Loved it! Definitely coming back.

Beautiful location

Overall this was a nice spot. We had a little rough start but Bill took care of the issue within ten minutes of calling him. Sitting on the deck overlooking the river was just what we needed. Very quiet and relaxing. Thanks Leah

Perfect!!!

Great place! Old, but awesome! Huge fireplace was amazing! Owner was excellent and left huge stack of dry firewood. Great river view! Only 30 min to ski Highlands. My adult children and dogs loved it too!

Girls Trip-Had a Blast!

The property was just as described and completely suited our needs. The 6 of us ladies had a great time, even though, the weather didn’t quite cooperate. We were able to kayak one day, and really enjoyed the river. A few of us did a little trout fishing, and we all took walks everyday. We used the grill and the grate over the fire pit. We also used the fireplace two nights because it was cold for August. We had an entire day to watch movies because it rained. We plan to make this an annual girls trip, and hope to rent the same wonderful cabin again-but this time for a longer stay!

Last Minute Vacation Decision

We had an amazing time at the river house. To be honest, the pictures on line do not do the house justice. The house had everything we wanted & more!! The house had such a good feel to it & had all the amenities that we needed. It is close to many attractions.... Petoskey, Tunnel of Trees, Mackinac Island, etc...... There was a trail head very close that we were able to use our ATV & an access to a beautiful walking/biking trail across the street. It was very quiet, relaxing & just what we were looking for!!! The owners were very accommodating to our last minute plans which was very much appreciated!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

Peaceful Stay

This property was on a nice gravel backroad. Some cars would go by pretty fast for our liking as our kids were hoping to ride their bikes down the road, so we had to be watchful of that. Small property and the river was nice to watch but not ideal for fishing as my kids were hoping. Inside the house it was beautiful with big windows in the back to watch the river. The porch on the second level was nice to sit out and watch wildlife. My kids favorite part was the shower as it warmed up quick compared to ours back at home. We were in and out most days sightseeing in the U.P. and at Onaway Speedway for the Big Rig Challenge. Travel time was not bad at all for where we stayed. Defiantly a nice place to stay. We thought this place had more acreage and were a bit discouraged when we saw how close the neighbors were. But they were friendly and welcoming. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to others.
