Utanför kan du njuta av vår båt och simning docka eller dra upp en Adirondack stol till utomhus eldstaden och steka några marshmallows medan du lyssnar på Adirondacks fredliga atmosfär. Nyrenoverat övre däck utanför sjön sovrummet. Njut av ditt kaffe på morgonen eller ditt vin på kvällen på övre däck utanför masterbedroom.

Detta hem är en idealisk miljö för familjeåterförening med ett stort vardagsrum, nyrenoverat kök / matsal som är perfekt för måltider och familjens spelkväll. Sovrum 1 och 2 har en queen size-säng, sovrum 3 har en queen size-säng tillsammans med en våningssäng, sovrum 4 har två våningssängar, de nedre bunkarna är fulla sängar och toppen är tvilling. Staden Wells är ett sömnigt landställe rakt ut ur en Hallmark-film. Lekplats, tennisbanor och en paviljong med picknickbord ligger tvärs över gatan. Offentlig båtlansering i närheten. Sandy town beach en 10 minuters promenad längs vägen. 3 min eller 10 minuters promenad till två allmänna butiker för sista minuten behov (inklusive ta ut pizza, filmuthyrning, öl, läsk och gåvor) och en glass står för att hålla barnen lyckliga. Det finns även en söt kafé bara 5 minuters promenad bort för de morgon när du vill smyga bort!

Ingenting går till hösten i Adirondacks. Vackra färger från de omgivande bergen reflekterar perfekt från den glaslösa sjön. Kano och kajakälskare kommer att förundra sig vildmarken i den anslutande floden, eftersom deras paddlar skärs graciöst genom lugna vatten. Ambitiösa cyklar cyklar till andra natursköna sjöar i Adirondacks. Bara en halvtimme bort i North Creek kan du även hitta de nya virusspåren!
På vintern kan du njuta av många utomhusaktiviteter i området. Efter en dag med skidåkning, snöskoter, åka skridskor, skridskoåkning eller en enkel promenad, kom in i värmen på vår inomhus vedspis. Bootsrummet håller alla dina vinterhushåll ur vägen men ändå torra och redo för ditt nästa vinteräventyr.

Just what we needed

Amazing time on Lake Algonquin! Our stay was fantastic in this beautiful spacious house. We loved the location on the lake, the close proximity to the tennis/pickleball courts, stores, hiking trails etc. Diane was great to work with, I would definitely recommend this house to anyone!

THIS is the Place

Just got back and wow, what a fantastic place to have an Adirondack adventure. Beautiful house, better than described and in the photos, right on a small lake in a scenic little town. Sunsets over the mountains, campfires by the lake, jump right off the dock, kayaking, fishing, hiking trails nearby - this is the place to get away from it all. Went with my big family (me and wife, six kids ages 5 - 15), had some extended family come up for the day and we all agreed it was the best place we've ever rented. Diane was awesome to communicte with, very quick to respond and house is so well stocked. We loved the porch with the bar, the wrap-around deck, the bunk rooms, and just everything about it. 90 minutes from Albany but it's a whole other world. We're already looking forward to booking our next week there!

Perfect ADK home

We had the best week in this lovely home. Very clean, easy access, well stocked kitchen and friendly neighbors. Plenty of space to spread out for sleeping and hanging out. The dock was nice for our boat and for fishing. We loved our time here and have already booked for next year! Thanks again for an amazing week!

Nice lake mountain lookout property

Place is well sized for multiple families to gather for vacation/outings. It has nice wraparound deck with lookout to lake and mountain region. Also has screened room incase of some chillier nights. Close to other lakes/river streams/hiking fall views.

Peaceful Retreat

Such a wonderful place right on the lake. Literally! We enjoyed hanging out Lakeside having a fire in the fire pit and enjoying hearty meals inside the spacious house. Everything was wonderful! Plenty of space for a large family. We had six ladies having a girls time away! It’s definitely an area to explore nature as there’s not much around in terms of shopping or restaurants or anything like that. The Riverwalk was enjoyable, up on Rt 30 and we caught some waterfalls on Route 8 and also on Rt 30!. I highly recommend it for the nature lover, the fisher person, and just to hang out and have fun with some of your peeps !

Fall Getaway w/Friends

We had a lovely stay at this sweet spot in the ADK. The property is even better than the pics. It was clean, cozy, well stocked with all we needed for cooking, and we really appreciated it having all we needed to build a campfire too. Communication was very clear with notes around for reminders. It was just what this group of friends was hoping for! Thank you!

family getaway

11 of us stayed here again this summer- 4 generations actually! The location was convenient for us, the home had plenty of space and the access to the lake was perfect! Before we even left all of us were talking about returning next summer. Nothing but good things to say about this home and the owner.

The house is immaculate. Had everything we needed for cooking. Beautiful views of the lake. Only wish was that there could have been easier access for kayaks and a ladder on dock for swimming.

Lake Vacation

Our stay was amazing, we were able to unwind and enjoy the the lake. As soon as we arrived my son who is 13 ran to the lake with his fishing pole and our 3 teenage girls jumped right in. Over our stay everyone fished, kayaked/canoed and swam. Fishing the lake gave us a variety of fish. At night we enjoyed marshmallows by the fire, played board games and a puzzle. The house was perfect for us, plenty of room. It was clean and well taken care of. The internet was not working when we first arrived but the Diane promptly responded to us regarding this. We came to disconnect. We give this place a 10/10. We hope to be back next year!

Beautiful lake house

The house is lovely and has room for a large group. We are four adults and appreciated having room to spread out. The kitchen has all of the amenities we needed and then some. We enjoyed family meals at the beautifully crafted dining table, canoeing on Lake Algonquin, a small bonfire near the lake, and the views from the decks.

Lake view

House on the lake with mountain views did not disappoint. Beautifully decorated with ADK touches. Bar with double refrigerators was a great hangout spot. Eagle, loons, fish present each day. Great kayak & canoe trip up the Sacandaga River. House offered anything you needed, just bring provisions. Upstairs bedrooms get a bit toasty, bring fans. The plastic campfire chairs not strong, so be careful.

Don’t believe the pictures… it’s better!

This home on the lake is just that, a home. The interior is decorated beautifully with amazing woodwork throughout giving it a cozy cottage feel. The view of the lake is breathtaking. I wish the weather was warmer so we could enjoy the water. We stayed here for a family wedding and this place was voted the best after everyone visited all of the other rental places. You can’t go wrong staying here.

Perfect!

Perfect location for our family weekend! Plenty of space for 11 adults, right on the water so canoeing, kayaking, fishing and evening chats around the campfire were all on the agenda. This home had everything we needed…. Even a pull out chair that made my brother-in-law who had shoulder surgery 2 weeks ago super comfortable. There isn’t anything we could suggest to improve our stay. We are looking forward to hopefully staying here again!

Fami!y Vacation

My family enjoyed our stay a lot. The house was very nice and the view of the lake was wonderful. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking and hiking. There isn't a sandy beach but it was easy getting into the lake from the dock. My daughter did have some trouble getting the kayak into the water around the poles on the dock. The neighbor has a few dogs that do bark sometimes very early. These are small things and didn't effect our wonderful trip.

Just like home

This is the perfect property if you are looking to unwind and get away. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s very comfortable and much larger than it looks from the outside. The pond is so close that when you’re inside it feels as though you are floating. The sun room was my favorite. I read books and napped in that room. We can’t wait for next year.

Beautiful stay

The home was fantastic. They have renovated it with great attention to detail and sturdy craftsmanship. We had a group of 10 people ages 5-48 and it was perfect. There was enough space for us to both gather together and find solitude. The kitchen had everything we needed to make everything we planned to cook. Very comfortable and we had a very relaxing trip filled with fishing, kayaking, canoeing, campfires, s'mores, swimming, hiking, games and margaritas.

Great place

Had a fishing trip with a group of 10 friends and family. The cabin was great, very clean and big enough for everyone. Fishing was good on the lake and the surrounding river. Had a small miscue with the owner but we worked it out fairly. Would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Family vacation

The place is all pretty new, great set up, plenty of sleeping space. Beautiful view, nice enclosed porch with a bar and a bed that pulls down off of wall. 2 full baths is nice when you have 11 people. We had a little misunderstanding with the listing and I called them, they responded right away and even though it was our fault, they helped us out. Which was much appreciated. Great place with a great set up. I would highly recommend them.
