Detta fantastiska lakefront townhouse har varit i vår familj i över 25 år och har nyligen renoverats! Ursprungligen köpt av mina morföräldrar som semesterhem för dem och utökade familj och vänner, har vi vuxit upp och njuter av denna lilla paradis varje sommar!

- 3 våningar (huvud, loft och källare)
- 8 sovplatser + 2 enkelsängar = 10 totalt
- hängmatta på baksidan veranda
- Dock tillgänglig för båtar (med inköpta dekal)

- Stort kök med mycket diskutrymme, fullt utrustad med all nödvändig matlagning och köksredskap, tallrikar, koppar och kryddor.
- Fullt vardagsrum / matsal (bordsstolar 6-8 bekvämt) + sittplatser på köksdisken + sittplatser och bord på baksidan veranda.
- Grill på baksidan veranda
- Ingen rökning tillåten
- Inga husdjur tillåtna

När du går genom ytterdörren känner du omedelbart en känsla av lugn och avkoppling. Med gott om plats finns det en plats för alla att njuta av en eftermiddagsslapp, läs en bra bok, måla, spela ett spel, titta på en film och ha en god måltid. Det finns två verandor (en på huvudnivån och en på källarnivå) som du kan njuta av att se soluppgången och solnedgången som reflekterar över sjön. Grannar är mycket välkomna och tysta och alltid villiga att hjälpa. Enkel tillgång till båtens brygga och strand, samt gemenskapens klubbhus med: utomhus olympisk -längdsbassäng med körfält, barnbad och lekplats, inomhuspool och jacuzzi, tennisbanor, pickleballbanor, basketplan, beachvolleyboll, hästskor och cornhole.

Enkel åtkomst - via bil eller båt - till många av de fantastiska restaurangerna och butikerna i Smith Mountain Lake! Bara 10 minuter från mataffärer och en lätt 35 minuter till Roanoke och de omgivande städerna Bedford och Lynchburg.

Best location on the lake facing Smith Mountain. Beds were comfortable and the showers offered plenty of hot water and pressure. Our granddaughter enjoyed the crayons and books. We had plenty of room to spread out. Always enjoy staying at Bernard’s Landing.

Highly recommend!

We had a great time at Smith Mountain Lake this year, and a significant portion of that was due to the property, the property owners and location. We would highly recommend Sally’s oasis. The owners were responsive and helpful. The property was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen is large, which we really appreciated, and well stocked. The house is located on a Cove which makes it wonderful for swimming off of the dock, protection of boats, and quiet. And there are several coves perfect for skiing, tubing or wakeboarding very close by. We will definitely try to stay again!

Great place and experience

We really enjoyed our stay. The townhouse had everything we wanted and the views are spectacular. We swam from the dock right outside just about every day and made use of the many Bernard's Landing amenities as well. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a getaway.

Absolutely lovely!

The setting of this property is hard to beat! We spent our mornings and evenings mesmerized by sunrise and sunset over the lake. Days spent floating in the cove, fishing from the dock, and playing in the yard made our stay together as a family so special. I would definitely choose this property again!

View is breathtaking!

From the back porch to the lake to the clubhouse amenities...repeat. Our family of 6 enjoyed every minute of our relaxing vacation in this comfortable property and resort. The back porch with its spectacular view was our #1 dining destination for the week. We've been enjoying SML for 40 years, and Bernard's Landing remains our favorite spot.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sally’s Oasis…. The location right on the water and the mountain view in the background is spectacular! The house was very clean and had lots of space for our family. The owners are super responsive and helpful! Love this place and would definitely recommend!!

Great week at Lake front property

Was the perfect property for family vacation. Plenty of space to be together as a family, as well with as spread out when we needed space. Kitchen well equipped for making family meals. And last but not least, access to lake could not be beat.

Relaxing Getaway

We had such a fabulous time at "Sally's Oasis". Everything from the unit to the scenery to the amenities were spot on. Perfect Weekend

Our family had a great time at Sally's Oasis. The view of the lake & mountains is spectacular! We had everything we needed. The complimentary bottle of pumpkin pie wine was wonderful. We had plenty of room indoors & out. We loved the indoor pool & hot tub at the clubhouse.

"Soul-soothing" is what we call it. " Sally's Oasis" is perfectly named by her.

We found the owners so caring and generous with our 10 day stay. The house is so well cared for and comfortable in furnishings. The kitchen is large compared to many others we have stayed at at Bernard's Landing. Lots of counter and cabinet space for many people to work around. The beds obviously have new mattresses which we found so comfortable. A real plus for the aching backs . There are so many places to enjoy seating on two levels outside. The meals out on the porches gave our family gatherings so much space . We have stayed at 8 different spots at Bernard's Landing over the years, and all feel that the spot has the best view on the Lake. Full moon gazing was made extra special in this location! Thank you for the hospitality of owners Keelyn and Chris. We'll be back soon.

Wonderful Home and Beautiful Views!

Sally's Oasis was a wonderful location for some of the family members attending our family reunion! Our hosts made the check-in process simple and were available if needed throughout our stay. We loved the home and it was well stocked with supplies that we needed. Bernard's Landing is a perfect location for a reunion and the Landing Restaurant on the property was great for a fun, delicious lunch. We highly recommend Sally's Oasis and would gladly stay here again!

Superb accommodation and location

The rental is located at Bernard's Landing on Smith Mountain Lake. It is completely furnished with everything you need. Bedrooms are on three floor for privacy when needed! Perfect for families with kids. Beautiful porch and view of the lake.

We are The Mitchells! I am the granddaughter of Sally (hence - Sally's Oasis) and Dave Hermansdorfer, who are the proud owners of this beautiful getaway. The Hermansdorfer family - including 4 generations - has been visiting Bernard's Landing for over 33 years. We love the tranquility of the community, and the adventurous opportunities that the lake and mountains provide. We currently reside in the Metro D.C. area, but many of the other Hermansdorfers are in Florida, Kentucky, and Tennessee! No matter what life throws at us, we always make it a priority to vacation at Smith Mountain Lake every year!

This property is extremely comfortable and peaceful, providing a perfect getaway for the most adventurous and not so adventurous personalities. There is plenty of action on the lake, through local nightlife, and surrounding attractions (like vineyards, skiing, and golfing), but, it is just as enjoyable for those who want to stay at home and watch the sun set, with a glass of wine in hand.

This is an all-in-one property; you can come and stay here for days without having to leave. Quiet neighbors, walking distance to the local restaurant and country club, and a safe community - onsite security. This is a place where you can let your kids run freely on the lawn between the townhouse and the lake, and enjoy the view from the back porch. 4th of July fireworks are quite a sight to see, and everyone at Smith Mountain Lake knows that Bernard's Landing has the BEST views!
