Great place to stay

I loved staying in a quieter area of Tokyo , there’s a lot of good food in the area too. The station is very nearby , and the Yamanote line it is on is extremely convenient to get around Tokyo . The host is friendly and quick to respond to any questions .

Nice apartment in a great location

Had a great time exploring Komagome and surrounding areas. Apartment was spotless, bed was comfy, and owner was very good at communicating. Easy check in and we were given lots of good info on how to get to the apartment from the airport and also things to do In Tokyo. Loved our stay here!

Family basecamp

The apartment was a great base camp for us to explore Tokyo. Was a little compact, but had everything we needed. Komagome is a nice, quiet neighborhood a bit off the beaten track, so a good place to come back to after visiting busier parts of the city. Nearby gardens are well worth a visit.

Convenient & Everything You Need

This VRBO was a perfect fit for our family. When at first we were hesitant about being away from the more bustling parts of the city, we ended up loving being in a quieter part of town that still had all the things you would want from a city location…Close to a train station, a bunch of great restaurants nearby, a convenience store very close and plenty of shopping. The host was fantastic! He was quick to respond, had a whole packet of information to send to us (that we found super helpful) and had the apartment filled with everything you need. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Good Location

The apartment was comfortable and quiet with easy access to the Yamanote line. The bedroom with two twin beds was a bit tight, but workable.

Convenient Place close to JR

We had a great time at Maki's place on our trip to Tokyo. The place was clean and he was very accommodating in letting us check out later due to a delayed flight. The condo is close to the JR and a cute alleyway with restaurants.

Cozy place

Maki’s place met all our needs for my family of 3. Easy access to trains, coffee, groceries and eateries. Appreciated his careful notes and suggestions for sight seeing. If you want to get away from the fray a bit and live like a local, this is definitely a great find.

Great location if you want to be within easy reach of the City's sights, but far enough out to be in a calmer, more residential area. Would recommend walking around this area to get an idea of local Tokyo life - handy to have supermarkets closeby too, as well as several Konbinis. The apartment is a couple of minutes walk from a train station which is on one of the main lines to take you directly to several tourist destinations. Maki, the host, is extremely helpful and responds very quickly to queries. The apartment is compact (as most are in Tokyo). Ideal for a family, as there is also a small kitchen and washing machine so it can be a home away from home for the week! Beds are very comfortable too!

Lovely Neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was a bit smaller than expected. But the beds were cozy. The kitchen could use some amenities. There were no paper towels or napkins and only two spoons. A little tea or coffee would also be nice. The neighborhood is really lovely, lots of little shops and restaurants. The apartment is very close to the Yamanote line which goes everywhere. All in all it is a very good, economical choice.

Nice place and excellent communication!

Our stay was very comfortable and the place was clean and quiet. Maki provided excellent communication and customer service. The neighborhood was nice and close to lovely gardens. It was convenient for accessing the Tokyo attractions and a good escape from the crowds. We definitely recommend this property!

Lovely stay in Tokyo

It was a very nice stay in Tokyo. Maki was very friendly and quick to respond to messages. Gave great suggestions for places to see the cherry blossoms around town. With four people, it was nice to be able to section off the living room like a second bedroom. I would happily stay here again.

Genuine Tōkyō neighbourhood

My husband and 14 year old twins stayed at this apartment and it was just what I wanted. Not too close to the city (but the station is a 5 minute walk and you can get anywhere on the Metro line). We loved the little streets with shops and restaurants and fruit markets around us. So many options to eat and wander. The apartment is small but enough and beds were super comfy. Highly recommend!

Great neighborhood

We loved staying here. The neighborhood was amazing. Little shops & restaurants. We loved walking at night, just relaxing & enjoying every day life in Tokyo. 3 minutes from train station. Just amazing location. The apartment was perfect for our stay in Tokyo. Had everything we needed. Multiple convenience stores just 3 minutes away and a nice grocery store as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Great neighborhood

The property was in an excellent location. Easy, walkable distance to JR Yamanote line, 711, Lawson’s, a grocery store, a sushi shop, and a 100 yen store. We enjoyed the relative peacefulness of the neighborhood compared to the hustle and bustle of the surrounding cities in Tokyo and yet we were just a train ride away from major tourist attractions. Our host, Maki, was responsive and kind and even let us know that we forgot one of my son’s Pokemon cards. Overall a great stay. We would stay there again in future trips to Tokyo.

First time in Japan

What a wonderful introduction to this beautiful country. The apartment we stayed in is located in a lovely area. Beautiful clean streets with a very calming atmosphere. Perfect after a day in the big city, and yet so close. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable for four adults. The owner Maki was excellent at communicating, and we hope to meet him when we come back in a few weeks before going home to Australia.

Great neighborhood, great host

Maki, the host, responded very quickly to any inquiries and was always helpful. The neighborhood is great with three grocery stores within a ten min walk at the furthest and several convenience stores even closer. There are many little restaurants and izakayas nearby as well as some hidden bakery gems if you explore the area more than just superficially. The Yamanote line is a five minute walk as is the Namboku line. The apartment is small but workable in a quiet, local neighborhood.

Quiet neighborhood with easy Yamanote train access

Stayed here for 2 weeks, was easily able to explore Tokyo from here, it's a 5 minute walk to the Yamanote line station that goes all over the city. Host provided info ahead of time about the area and check in process. Komagome is a great neighborhood, lots of restaurants, konbini, and grocery stores nearby.
