We had a great stay. The house is bigger than it looks with plenty of space for all of our guests. Would recommend for anyone staying in the area.

This property was perfect for our family's vacation. It was spacious, comfy and well-stocked. The owner was pleasant and prompt with communications. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location for the ATV enthusiast. Located right off the trail and very close to a gas station you can drive your atvs to top off before your ATV adventure. The host was very responsive throughout our stay and the place was clean and organized.

Beautiful house in a convenient Kingfield location, close to sugarloaf. The house was very comfortable and hosts were responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Would love to come back again in the future!

The house was accurately described and was perfect for our summer family gathering in Kingfield. We had 5 adults, a 4-year-old, and an almost 2-year-old with us, and there was room for us to spread out both in the house and out back on the patio. The house is an old farmhouse with plenty of character. It's a short walk just across the bridge to Anni's Market, Longfellow's Restaurant, a coffee shop, and other shops. Brian was very communicative and responsive about checking in and answering questions we had.

We enjoyed our week stay at the farmhouse in Kingfield. The location was very nice: walking distance to a restaurant as well as to the trails for back country xcountry skiing. The house itself, as an older farmhouse, has a number of recent upgrades such as modern appliances, but overall showed its age. It can definitely use a really good deep cleaning. There were obvious signs of rodent visitations. The heating systems are eclectic and took some effort to create a comfortable living environment. The host is very responsive and willing to take feedback and did note that the deep cleaning will take place.

TLDR cute for a winter stay, no AC for a summer stay, wifi was spottyThe bad:NO AC. There is a single mini split in the first sitting room and one bedroom has a standing AC unit. We were all sweating our butts off the entire time and I was pretty miserable at night even with the ceiling fan. The owner should update the listing to make this explicitly clear or put in window unitsfor the bedroom. I didn’t reach out about this problem bc what can really be done in four days except drop 1k on window units. The upstairs bathtub had peeling paint and no one wanted to use that so everyone took turns in the master shower. We had three little kids and we didn’t want to put them in the tub so we showered them. The wifi kept going out which was really annoying but there is a coworking spot right across the bridge so our family member who needed to work the entire time spent his days there. The good:That all being said, the place was super cute and very conveniently located. It is definitely meant for winter sports people since every room has a heater and sugar loaf / trails are nearby. Grocery store right down the street and decent pizza at the gas station across the bridge. A walkable restaurant with a bar and a river you can jump into from the bridge, which the local kids were doing. You can also get into the water normally in the sides of the river. Wire bridge is nearby which is a must if you’re staying in kingfield and there are some cute shops nearby.

Great well stocked kitchen. House is definitely bigger than it looks and great for families. Plenty of towels and beds were very comfortable! Walkable to town for general store and restaurants.
