Escape to the shores of Sturgeon Lake with this spacious retreat on Sturgeon Island, just across the covered bridge, 45 minutes from Duluth, and only 1.5 hours from the Twin Cities. With 125 feet of sandy, level yard/shoreline, panoramic west-facing lake views, and plenty of room for families or groups, this home is perfect for family time, vacations, reunions, or weekend getaways. Great ice fishing, hunting and sled trails as well!
The Space
Master Suite: King bed with private bathroom, stand-alone shower, and jetted tub
Bedroom 2: Queen bed with cozy furnishings
Bedroom 3: Bunk bed (twin), great for kids or multiple guests
Bathrooms: master bath, full on lower level with tub/shower combo, and half bath on top level.
Top level:
Open-concept with lake views, comfortable seating, and a projector for movie nights! Sliding glass walk out to 2nd level deck and 3 season porch. Kitchen fully stocked with appliances, cookware, and utensils. Dining: Standard table with seating for family meals. Half bath near kitchen and private master bedroom near entry.
Bottom level:
Sliding glass walk out to large patio deck to the yard, dock, and beach. Large couch facing TV and fireplace. Full bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Washer and Dryer onsite and free.
Outdoor Living: Two walkout decks, and a three-season porch are perfect for enjoying the pristine view.

Sleeps 6 in bedrooms
With the oversized couches and 2 full sized air mattresses provided, the home could comfortably accommodate 8â10 guests. Pack-and-play and high chair available for little ones.
The Lake
This property is one of the best on Sturgeon Lake, offering flat yard leading to the shoreline with a sandy beach and excellent swimming area. Relax in the chairs by the water, enjoy the available paddle boat or paddle board (no life jackets provided), or bring your own boatâthe public launch is just minutes away. Evenings are unforgettable with a fire pit on the beach and unobstructed west-facing sunsets across the clear water.
Trails and Adventure
Ride directly from the property to the General Andrews State Forest Trail system, some of Minnesotaâs best ATV and snowmobile trails, which connect to the Soo Line Trail for over 200 miles of scenic riding. Hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and year-round adventure are right outside your door.
