I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Don & Morna's. The room was exactly as pictured; clean, inviting and comfortable. Their home is located just north of Spokane, about 8-10 minutes from the Whitworth campus in a beautiful 1970's-90's neighborhood with wide streets and manicured lawns. The attached bathroom is a typical 3/4 bath you normally find in this era of home - single sink, toilet and stand-up shower. This shower isn't just the single person stall, it will accommodate two decent sized adults and has a large seat/shelf to sit, shave your legs and room for all your hair/soap products. The handheld shower head was easily adjustable in stream and use. Loved the hot water and great water pressure!The king bed was fitted with soft sheets, a light down comforter and comfy pillows. I slept like a baby.The bedroom door locks easily from the inside but does not lock from the outside when you leave. Most of the individual rooms that I've stayed in have had this feature. It's the only critique I would give them.There's a small fridge, microwave and Keurig in the room, plenty of towels and a welcomed oscillating fan (I naturally sleep hot). Oh and black out curtains! The mornings that I could sleep past dawn were wonderfully dark in the room.I don't know if any other rooms were rented during my stay because I didn't hear a peep the entire time. I would highly recommend this location. As a single woman, I felt safe here. Thanks Don & Morna!
