Gather your favorite people and escape to this peaceful lakeside getaway where the sunsets steal the show (trust us, they're majestic), and every moment feels like a breath of fresh air. Often, we see beautiful wildlife -- a flock of comorants fishing in the mornings, great blue herons (there is a pair that we see almost daily fly by the dock), ducks, lots of catfish jumping, and even a bald eagle!
At Sunset Harbor Retreat, youâll find:
A spacious, fully-stocked kitchen perfect for big breakfasts, pancake flips, and memory-making meals.
A cozy fire pit where you can roast sâmores, swap stories, and stay up just a little too late under the stars.
A wide-open lakefront perfect for fishing, skipping rocks, or just watching the ripples roll by. We have stairs that lead into the water, making swimming convenient. We provide some fishing gear, but for the serious enthusiast, feel free to bring your own!
A private dock ready for your rented boat â bring your lake toys, tie up with ease, and spend your days on the water.
And when youâre ready for a quick grocery run or a bite out, youâre just 5 minutes from Walmart and local restaurants â so everything you need is within reach, but far enough to feel like a true escape.
Whether youâre planning a weekend of laughter with friends, unplugging with family, or sneaking in a romantic getaway with golden hour views, Sunset Harbor Retreat is the perfect place to slow down, soak it in, and stay a while.
Sleeps 8 guests comfortably:
-Master bedroom (downstairs) with king bed
-Second bedroom (upstairs) with one queen bed, and one twin plus twin trundle.
-Third bedroom (upstairs) with one queen bed.
