Peaceful cottage

Nice, clean, peaceful and quiet place to stay while in town for our daughter’s wedding. Close to restaurants, the church, downtown, and the Parthenon which was also the wedding venue. Wonderful to come back to the cottage at the day’s end to unwind after the whirlwind of wedding activities!

Relaxing oasis from the cma fest

Perfect location in a beautiful neighborhood!

Had a wonderful stay. The neighborhood is gorgeous and the proximity to downtown and Belle Mead was perfect. Gwen was a terrific host and her tips for parking in downtown saved us a lot of $$$. Would definitely stay here again, and hope to return sometime soon!

AWESOME PLACE TO STAY

This cottage was perfect for my wife and I. It was clean and cozy and had everything you need. We enjoyed the quiet once we returned after a night on Broadway. We used Uber to get where we wanted to go and it was around $15 during the afternoon and $25 at night. We could have drove ourselves but it was well worth the Uber fee to not have to deal with everything going on downtown. Highly recommend this cottage!! Thank you Gwen!!

Very Nice Stay

This property is a cottage located behind the many house on over 1 acre. You have a carport to pull into directly adjacent to the front door. Eat in fully stocked kitchen with living room with large picture window that faces the back of the property. Also French doors that open to a small porch. Largo bedroom and bathroom with high end linens and towels. Overall womderfall stay.

Great property manager and property

I was in the West Nashville area for three days of training and wanted a nice, quiet place to stay. The property and the property manager, Gwen, were great. Everything was just as described. The property was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was a perfect place to stay and rejuvenate before another day’s training. Gwen communicated everything I needed to know promptly and clearly. I will definitely chose this property again if I need to stay in the West Nashville area.

Absolutely lovely!

The cottage is behind a main residence in a beautiful neighborhood, close to all conveniences. Gwen was a wonderful hostess, who offered lots of amenities and nice touches. Good air conditioning system and fans. While some of the furniture could be updated, we were most comfortable during our stay! Thank you Gwen!!!

What a great place!

This little cottage is just perfect. The location is great. It was so nice to be close to everything and the neighborhood was so nice and quiet. Everything was very clean and easy to keep that way. We had everything we needed to make our stay more than comfortable and lots of info.on what to do and where to go. The carport to park under was great since it rained while we were coming and going. Thank you Gwen for being so easy to work with and offering your wonderful cottage. Would love to come back some day!

Quiet Cottage

We stayed in West Nashville for a month, visiting our family who lives nearby. Owner Gwen, generously provided whatever we needed including our privacy. This apartment is so comfortable that you could easily stay a month or longer. The park-like view looks out over a beautiful back yard with lots of trees. Yet you are close to shopping and have easy access to downtown. We highly recommend this place for short or long term renting.

Exceeded expectations

This was my first time using any type of Vrbo/airbnd so i was a little nervous. I couldn't be more pleased with our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful with just a short drive to all the attractions we planned to see. Gwen's attention to detail was perfect! Everything was labeled with clear directions and she thought of all the tiny things you may forget. I hope I can get back to the area soon and will definitely be booking the cottage again!

Nashville Nice

Quiet. Convenient. Cozy. This property was wonderfully perfect for my two-weeks in Nashville. The cottage behind the main house provided all I was looking for in a place to stay, and, to be clear, the space is not fancy or luxurious — but I was not looking for fancy or luxurious. Gwen was a wonderful host, going above the expected. The view out the picture window was wonderful and the covered parking was a welcomed feature on rainy days. I hope to stay again when traveling to Nashville.

A perfect Nashville retreat!

Gwen has made a place where y'all will feel right at home! It starts with a wonderful location, and she also has anticipated everything you will need to be comfortable, for a few nights or a few weeks. (I considered moving in permanently, but my wife wants me back home. Go figure.) As a former Nashville resident, I couldn't have asked for a better way to come home again.

Cozy home, perfect for family visit!

We were visiting family in Nashville over Thanksgiving week and found this very cozy home to stay. Gwen is a wonderful host and met us to check in and show us the cottage. We like to have a kitchen so that we can sleep in and make breakfast. She had extra blankets, pillows, and towels, and even snacks in the kitchen and small amenities in the bathroom. All of these thoughtful details, plus the cozy feel of the cottage made our time very pleasant! Gwen gave us a copy of a local newspaper section with affordable Nashville activities. If we come back, we'll definitely check in with Gwen again! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Perfect Accommodations for a Weekend Away

This quaint house provided exactly what my wife and I needed for a weekend away in Nashville. Conveniently located just outside the city, we were able to quickly travel into and around the city for various activities in minutes... 15 minutes to Broadway, 25 minutes to the Grand Old Opry, 25 minutes to the zoo, and very close to lots of hiking opportunities. The property was very private and completely stocked with all of the towels/linens and appliances that we needed. Although we ate out, the kitchen did have everything I would have needed to cook every meal. We appreciated the tourist pamphlets and books that were present, making it easy to so some last minute research of the area. We will definitely stay here again when we come back! Thanks Gwen!

Home away from home

I was travelling alone with my teenage daughter and this place was a perfect spot for us. I felt much safer than I would at a hotel! I loved the option of two twins beds in the one bedroom. We had a reason to be in Nashville and this location is just a 15 min drive (6 miles) from the heart of Nashville. Additionally shopping is at the end of the street and Walmart is only 1.3 miles away. I loved that for grabbing a few groceries! This property is so peaceful and pretty. The trees and yard are just gorgeous. The cottage itself is older, it did have a slight musty odor but that is the only negative. It was amazingly clean! Really was super clean. The bathroom was spotless and the towels were really nice and soft. The sheets were nice and new, pillows were nice too. I did not use the kitchen, just put a few things in the refrigerator. The landlady left some microwave popcorn, nutrigrain bars and creamer/coffee which was great. We will definately look this spot up again if we are in the area. So grateful for our wonderful stay! The landlady is easy to reach and very kind. I had to move my dates around and she was accomodating to this.

Very dusty and musty- need deep cleaning

Pros: location was decent in a good neighborhood. However, just off the street is Charlotte Pike, which appeared questionable at night so be cautious. We were eating at Hattie’s B nearby, sitting outside and already 3 different time, we see cops flying by. The place has little kitchenette, which is good if you planned on cooking. Overhead parking was nice , especially when it rains. Cons: very dusty- appears it has it been cleaned for a long time. Heavy dust on the ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room, blinds, anything above eye level, bathroom vanity lights, and behind the headboard. I have mite allergy and barely able to stand it so we were out until late when we had to sleep. We ended up sleeping opposite the headboard because of the dust. The color towels smelled like mildew and needs to be replaced. The shower curtain has mildew. The sink and shower had hair when we arrived (appears it was not cleaned). The entire place smelled like old musty cabin. The fire alarm went on during our last day and was removed by the owner because it wouldn’t stop buzzing (this could be due to the heavy dust in the place). The air filter is covered with dust (looks like it was not changed in a long time). If we could have cancelled, we would not stay there. There is also a checklist of things guests needed to do before check out (I.e. wipe down counters, sink, sweep, etc), which we thought that’s what the cleaning/addition fee covers. Disappointing stay.
