'512 Beach House' Àr ett modernt, 3 sovrum / 2. 5 badrum, hus vid stranden med en öppen planlösning, för mÄnga fönster att rÀkna och 3 stora balkonger. Huset sprider sig över tvÄ partier vid stranden och har 360 graders utsikt över stranden och vÄtmarkerna. Havet kan ses frÄn alla rum i huset. Som en av vÄra gÀster sa: "Bilder gör inte detta hus rÀttvisa."

Första vĂ„ningen Ă€r en helt öppen planlösning. Stort kök med ösittplatser. Öppen för matsal och vardagsrum. Soffan drar ut till en drottning i sovrummet om det behövs. Det finns en stor skĂ€rmad veranda utanför köket med matbord och soffa. En perfekt plats att njuta av ett morgonkaffe och titta pĂ„ pelikanerna flyga över huset.

PÄ övervÄningen finns 3 sovrum. Det stora sovrummet har en king size-sÀng och eget badrum. Rummet har ocksÄ en king size-sÀng och delar badrum med vÄningssÀngen. VÄningssalen har 2 vÄningssÀngar (4 enkelsÀngar) och ett tvÄbÀddsrum som kan dras ut i en king size-sÀng. De nedre kojerna Àr vuxna testade och godkÀnda. För att sÀkerstÀlla gÀstkomfort rekommenderar jag inte de bÀsta sÀngarna för vuxna gÀster.

Huset Àr vackert och rymligt, och vi förstÄr definitivt frestelsen att bjuda in alla dina vÀnner att njuta av, men vi mÄste hÄlla ett strikt maximalt tio personer (max 7 vuxna) pÄ fastigheten nÀr som helst. Vi tillÄter inte fester eller sammankomster som skulle ha ytterligare personer pÄ fastigheten. Vi krÀver namn och Äldrar för alla gÀster och ett foto-ID för gÀst pÄ bokningen.

The listing can’t do justice to the calm and peacefulness of the house. The home is well appointed has plenty of room for everyone. We immensely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place for a beach stay. The location is perfect!

Great view & spacious deck(s)

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. The long open living area made it easy to be together but still do our own things. The mosquitos between the beach and the house were overwhelming, but the beach was always in view due to the many windows and the gulf-facing deck, so we didn't really feel we were missing out.

Great stay! Cleanspacious, comfortable!

We had a great stay at 512BeachHouse. It was very very clean and stylishly decorated. The kitchen is huge and well-stocked. It had everything we needed. The master bedroom and bath are especially spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The location was perfect - quick walk across the dunes. The host was responsive and accommodating. I hope we get a chance to return! It was a great vacation!

This property is very clean, well-maintained with fabulous views of the beach. The owner Abbey went above and beyond to communicate expectations and ensure our comfort. VRBO e-mail never worked quite right but Abbey made sure I received a vey timely response.

Great House to share

Booked this with friends and it turned out perfect. Place is better than the pictures show and it was one of the better stocked kitchens for cooking that I’ve seen. Management was very easy to communicate with and very attentive. They even had a new grill delivered to us out first night to replace the one broken by the previous renters just before it. I would definitely book this house again.

The best beach house on the gulf

If the reason you go to the beach is to go to the beach, than this is where you want to stay. The house is huge and wonderfully equipped with a great kitchen, screened in porch, deck access from every room, well designed bathrooms and quick access to a practically private beach! It’s big, comfortable and very clean. We found the renters to be incredibly helpful and flexible when able. The beach is lovely, our kids played for hours every day and we practically had the beach to ourselves. It’s semi-rural so you’ll need to bring your favorite foods with you but there’s a great fridge/freezer and for the level of privacy you get, it’s totally worth packing a cooler! We stayed twice this summer and will likely do the same for many years to come.

Very nice home with great views

Despite the very wet weather, we were very pleased with the house and the views from every room in the house - including the bathrooms! The property owner was a gem to work with - her communication was very fast & reliable. The house was in great shape - great dining room table for eating and family games, well stocked kitchen, large refrigerator and an additional small fridge which was great for beverages. The screened in porch was very nice, but the strong rains kept us from being able to use it. There isn't much written about the space under the house, but it is a very nice paved space with high ceilings - perfect for corn hole in the rain! Our only disappointment was that the walking path to the beach was not very accessible due to the massive amounts of rain....the path was covered in water - it really isn't a big deal, but we weren't equipped with the right shoes. My only suggestion would be to bring some rubber boots for the walk to the beach if rain has been or will be in the forecast - if the weather is dry, the walk would be no problem! We look forward to visiting Matagorda again soon....hoping our next trip is full of sunshine rather than rain! Oh....but I forgot to mention that all the rain did bring a GORGEOUS full rainbow over the ocean that our family thoroughly enjoyed!

Graduation Getaway

We spent the week celebrating our youngest daughter's graduation from high school and enjoyed the property very much. Walking the path through the dunes to the beach was a no-go due to mosquitoes from early flooding but at no one's fault. We were within a short drive to the beach (thanks for posting about getting our vehicle beach permit). Great view and amenities--we ate in the screened-in porch every day! Highly recommend and would stay there again!

Super Hostess and Wonderful beach house!

A real hidden gem on Matagorda Island with an excellent hostess!! Our family could not have asked for a better trip! The home has everything you need, very spacious, is extremely clean, in the perfect location, and Abbey was super communicative throughout the booking. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation!

Quiet Beach Getaway

This is a beautiful home with ocean views from every room! Expansive decks and screened porch extend the living area, providing ample space for families. The kitchen is well-equipped and beds are comfy. Walk across the dunes to the beach or drive around with your 4-wheel drive! The beach is quiet, waves are hypnotizing, and birds are mesmerizing. Pack your sunscreen, a good book, bug spray, fishing gear, boogie boards, and cooler for the best day ever!

Perfect trip

I cannot say enough good things about the property. Clean and comfortable, excellent balcony views, open concept great for visiting and hanging out with family. We all had a great time and loved the house! We had no problems walking the path through the dunes. It is quite the trek though with beach stuff. We can’t wait to go back!

Long Weekend

Great getaway for a long holiday weekend. Views from the house are even better in real life. This community is “one with nature” given its close proximity to the dunes and the critters who live there, but still worth it.

Gorgeous beachfront home

512 is a very large home that can easily sleep two families of four with beautiful furnishings to make you feel spoiled. There are wonderful views of the beach from every room, and the porches are spacious for a gathering.

Perfect

Location is perfect, away from the crowds, house is gorgeous, didn’t have any issues with the walk to the beach. The view from the top balcony is amazing. Kids want to make it a tradition every year to stay at 512. The owners were very kind and helpful, and that made the difference.

Great time in Matagorda

We stayed for 5 nights at this great home on the beach. We spent most days just lounging on the beach. We used our vehicles to drive back and forth to the beach. The home is well furnished and has many great decks for time at the house. There is even a screened in porch for when the bugs are bad. We would definitely recommend this house.

I am a native Texan and grew up coming to the Texas coast. As a family, we have traveled all over the world, and this little slice holds a special place in our hearts.
Our family fell in love with Matagorda when our son was only 3 months old. We've been frequent visitors ever since and in 2017 we purchased our dream home. Part of that dream is sharing these memories with other families, such as yours. My husband is an avid fisherman and I can't get enough of the beach. We currently live in Austin and make the quick drive down to Matagorda as frequently as possible. We've found our perfect, peaceful, getaway and we hope you'll feel the same way.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Matagorda is one of only a handful of places in Texas that have both beach and bay access. Matagorda provides an abundance of fishing opportunities for my husband, and an abundance of quiet, beautiful beach for me.
The town is small and an escape from busy city living.

The house is modern, incredibly spacious and open, and has the best views of the beach and the marsh. It spreads out across two beachfront lots. The house has two levels of large balconies to enjoy. It has 42 windows and you can see the ocean from every single room.
