Mysig timmerstuga, vid en öringström i anslutning till Green Mountain National forest. Lönn trägolv, persiska mattor, öppen spis och vedspis. Ett stort vardags- / matrum / bänkskiva i granit / 2 öppna sovlofter med vardagsrum med dubbelsäng, plus extra soffa i queen-size utdrag. Nyrenoverat badrum / dusch / tvättmaskin / torktumlare. Separat studioarbetsutrymme med höghastighetsinternet. Kabinen är en kort bilresa till både Mad River och Sugarbush Ski områden

Stugan är en avgörande timmerhus med extra atmosfär av persiska mattor, ett bibliotek fylld med romaner och böcker för soffbord och ett bekvämt ställe att krullas framför en eld för att läsa och koppla av. Det finns en stig på fastigheten som leder upp till Green Mountain National Forest och Breadloaf-vildmarken och förbi ett vattenfall. Simhål är längs vägen. Perfekt för promenader med hunden eller snöskor på vintern.

Stetson Hollow ligger precis vid väg 100, så det är lättillgängligt även på vintern. Warren Falls är en och en halv mil norr om stugan, och Moss Glen Falls är ett par mil söderut. Warren Village är en viktig Vermont-enklav med butiker, en charmig landshandel och ett Relais Chateaux-hotell: The Pitcher Inn. Området har vackra platser för promenader på landet och i närheten ligger den 4-säsongsresorten Sugarbush samt Mad River Glen Ski-området. Det finns två fantastiska X-country skidområden i Warren: Oles och Blueberry Lake. En manual i kabinen berättar för allt som finns i Warren och området kring Mad River Valley.

Charming and impeccable!

This little cabin nails it. Charming log-cabin decor with two comfortable beds in lofts. You can look out the skylights to the trees (and the stars) while lying in bed. The kitchen has everything you need - perhaps not ideal for cooking huge meals but great for breakfast and other basic meals. The fireplace and wood stove are huge bonuses, and Jill and John keep it stocked with everything you need to build a fire. There's no television, which we saw as a huge bonus, and there is good wi-fi. It's a quick and easy 10-minute drive to the Sugarbush main base area. Jill is the consummate host with clear communication and great recommendations. We will absolutely be back!

Cozy beautiful cabin

We loved or stay in the Stetson Hollow cabin! We enjoyed building a cozy fire on a snowy night close to Sugarbush Mountain after a long day of traveling. The cabin was just as expected, clean and comfortable with an easy check in/out process. The host was lovely and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Cozy cabin

Loved everything about this cabin between the stars at night to the wood burning fireplace it was perfect for us. And the hosts Jill and John were beyond accommodating and really easy on point with anything I might have needed. Proximity to Sugarbush and Mad river Glen rounded it all out to be Perfect.

Perfect mountain cabin!

Such a great cozy mountain cabin with a beautiful stone fireplace well stocked with plenty of dry wood and kindling- all that’s needed for the perfect après-ski setting. Add a glass of wine to the host-provided Vermont cheese and crackers and you’re set for the evening. Initially concerned that the cabin was right on Rte 100 but very quiet and peaceful. Never heard any road noise. The two loft bedrooms are comfortable and functional accessed by ladder. Not a place for those with mobility issues.Host was attentive and check-in/check out a breeze. Five stars in my book! Thanks Jill and John.

Unique Property in VT

Great place to unplug

Enjoyed this cozy cabin for two nights. Location is easy access to small town shops (bought a fabulous piece of local art), firewood provided, beds comfortable, near a road but very quiet. Cabin had everything we needed. Jill and John are lovely hosts. We’ll be back!

Cozy Cabin Stay

Celebrated our 20th anniversary and had a wonderful stay. Property was beautiful and steps to a lovely brook. Hiking and exploring adventures nearby. Warm, toasty fire to snuggle up by in the evenings. Thank you for the wonderful vacation and we can’t wait to return!

Wonderful!

Truly a well appointed, comfortable cabin! Sits right adjacent to the National Forest, and is yet an easy drive to Warren and Wakefield if desired or needed for food and other provisions. This was a return visit. And, we'll be back again!

Rustic Relaxation

Very beautiful setting, nice rustic cabin. Was clean but a little spider webby. The sleeping loft beds were pretty comfortable and the hosts left a welcome basket with some treats. Wish we had a little more time to be here and enjoy the beautiful river across the way.

Amazing cabin near a brook

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed and look forward to returning soon. The cabin is comfortable and extremely well appointed. It is within walking distance from great plunge pools along a brook. The hosts are very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Cabin in the Woods

Stetson Hollow Cabin is a true cabin with character and comfort. This is our second time at this gem. It’s easily accessible to all things in the Mad River Valley, yet secluded. The host, Jill, is warm and welcoming. Always available within minutes - even when she’s traveling. Great place! Highly recommend for a needed get away for anyone.

Great Ski Location

Stayed here to access the Sugarbush ski area. Easy 10-15 minute drive with on-site parking at cabin. Super cute with fire wood provided for use in both the inside fire place and outside fire pit. Cabin abuts the river which makes a nice coffee spot. Easy access to hiking trails. Only things to consider is that beds require climbing a ladder to access so keep that in mind if people have mobility issues. Also no TV so bring your own device if you have something you would like to watch.
