Great Get Away!

Enjoyed every moment of it, check-in was very easy and simple we always come to Shawnee Village every year around this time, shopping area very convenience and not forgetting our wonderful host Jan.

Great Place to Stay!!

This is a great place for you and your family. My family and I enjoyed the house and the amenities such as the arcade and pools. They have basketball, volleyball, and tennis as well on the property. The house was spacious enough for a family of 5. The community as a whole is very beautiful. Great place to stay!!

Decent place

When we arrived to check in we were told the room we requested was not available and that the vrbo host had been notified, they however did not relay that message to me. The check in rep said they had a smaller unit that was a lower rate but that they had no control over the difference in price and that it would be up to the host if the wanted to refund any portion of cost. I overheard another guest having a similar discussion, so not sure if it was busy season mix ups or if they make a habit of charging you for more and showing up to get less while blaming it on the host. When I contacted the host they said the room I was given was an upgrade and remodel, despite the check in representative at the resort telling me the opposite. If the room we were given was considered at upgrade, I dont think id want to stay in the older models...it wasn't bad, just extremely rustic. There was an issue with the toilet and water in one of the bathrooms, but maintenance was able to come fix it relatively quick, the fire place didn't work, microwave didnt really work and as mentioned things were pretty dated, BUT the property definitely had a nice cabin feel and look and the beds were comfortable, heat worked. It snowed the morning of check out but everything was shoveled super quick. We went to camelback which was an easy 20 minute drive. All in all for a nights stay and for capturing the cabin feel, id stay again...Idk if you can book direct but I'd probably recommend it to avoid confusion with room types. Also find out which village the property is in because apparently they are pretty different, we stayed in depuy

Excellent Option in Shawnee

This area has so much to offer, hiking, biking, kayaking, golfing, beer tasting. The main Inn at the Resort is beautiful but quite expensive for a group of 7 family members. Staying at this condo gave us two nights for the same price as one at the Resort. We walked to dinner at Gem and Keystone, road the McDade trail right from the house and stopped for a beer on our bikes at Shawnee Craft to end the ride. Excellent location and a nicely updated, clean condo with all the amenities for a group of 7 adults. Highly recommend this for a weekend stay at Shawnee!

Fun Friends Getaway

Cute home! Nice setup as far as location from ski resort. All the amenities that you are looking for were there in the home. Even a hot tub! True bang for your buck. Only have one complaint. We needed housekeeping on our first night to change the sheets. They did not arrive until the next day in the afternoon. My friend had to wash her sheets our first night. Thank goodness there was a washer and dryer inside the home. Besides the one complaint I appreciate a true weekend retreat to go skiing . And would come back again.

Clean, comfortable beds, fun units.

Property is easy to get to from main highways. Plenty of parking for a large group, even on a big weekend for travel. Rooms were all clean however slight lingering doggie smell on carpeted steps from previous guest. Bedrooms and bathrooms were pristine. Beds are very comfortable and cozy, better than hotels, and I'm a stickler on beds. Kitchen is well-equipped. Check-in is somewhat tedious, but they have to give you the timeshare pitch. Amenities are ample though. Second time staying with large group, and would stay again. Host was helpful and communicative. Would go through her again.

Everything went smoothly and was very clean and comfortable. We loved being near the Shawnee Inn and the Pocono Animal & Reptile Farm. Nice little weekend getaway!

A hidden gem!

The property sits in the middle of several condos but still able to provide the sense of quiet. The house itself is very well equipped for everything. The beds are fantastic to sleep on and truly provide quality rest. The jacuzzi is heaven! Most importantly the property manager was outstanding in her costumer service. The one thing I do recommend is to check out which of the condos you will be getting on the property before arrival because the picture on the listing is not the condo that you may get. However, the property manager was ready to help me out the next day but since my stay was only a couple of days I didn't want to move once I was already settled. Love the place and will be coming back.

Just what we hoped for!

We've visited the area several times before, and this was the first time we stayed in this section. It was perfect for our family. It was really nice having our own individual unit with a large porch and the bedrooms were very spacious. The jetted tub was a welcomed added bonus! This unit was everything we wanted and more. The kids had a blast, and we were close to the playground as well! We would definitely return again.
