Overnight in rural highlands

This was my first trip away after cancer treatment. I appreciated all the details to make the room as comfortable as possible. I loved walking around the garden which reminded me of my native England. The breakfast was hearty and we didn’t need lunch!

Weekend in Robertson

Lovely bed and breakfast with beautiful gardens and great outlook. Gardens could be viewed from any aspect of the property. Bedroom and bathroom were clean, comfortable, roomy and well appointed. A lovely little breakfast room was available - once again with views of the beautiful gardens. Breakfast was served and was substantial, beautifully presented and prepared by our hosts. Hosts were very accommodating, they were friendly whilst not being at all intrusive. We were in Robertson to attend a wedding and wish we'd more time at the property. Overall a lovely place to stay and we'd certainly return again.

Green Gate, Garden, Thumb

They could call it anyway of the three - Gate, Garden or Thumb. As you turn into the property from the street you must navigate a narrow tunnel of agapanthus, providing the first indication of what's to come. Both the front and rear gardens provide a nice variety of plants and our room had a nice view beyond. The room was very nice with a good bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts are great company!

Country Escape

From check in to check out it was a lovely welcoming experience. The rooms were lovely and the views of the garden were gorgeous. Breakfast in the morning was perfect and delicious. I would love to come back soon.

Clean, quiet property. Owner is laid back and helpful. Great breakfast and coffee. Tony gave us some suggestions to what to see around. Great place if you are planning a timeout from you’re busy life!!

Hassle free!!! Susan accommodated my request due to times that we needed to check in and out. We missed out on breakfast due to having to leave at 6:30am which I was disappointed about, but that was our loss :( It was a freezing night, but the room was so cozy and warm. Comfy bed and bedding and very clean.

Beautiful property, nice location

Robertson is a good place to be close to lots of other places to explore. Hosts Sue and Tony were lovely. Rooms were clean. Double check with owners that what you are getting is what you want as we were nearly caught out as the site was confusing and I found it unclear. Sue was very good to deal with though and quick to respond to enquiries. Thank you both for your hospitality.
