Föreningen ligger bara 100 km (1. 5 timmars bilresa) nordost om Bukarest och består av parkeringsplatser på plats och tre stugor med självhushåll som är uppbyggda runt en uppvärmd kantlös pool och jacuzzi. Vi erbjuder också en utomhusgasgrill / kök för matlagning och middagar utomhus.

Vi ligger halvvägs mellan Ploiesti och Buzau i hjärtat av den vackra och natursköna Dealu Mare ("Big Hills") i Rumänien, som är känd för sina vingårdar och vingårdar.

Stugorna är välutrustade med golvvärme, vedeldade spisar, luft till luft värmepump / kylsystem, termopanfönster och 55 "tums UHD-tv med fiberoptisk internetanslutning. Fullt utrustade kök och badrum (med badkar / dusch) finns i varje stuga. Två av stugorna (Feteasca Neagra och Merlot-stugorna) har två sovrum med vindsvåning och ett halvt badrum på övervåningen som kan användas som ett tredje sovrum. Den tredje stugan (Pinot Noir-stugan) har ett stort sovrum med vardagsrum och loft med halvt badrum på övervåningen som kan användas som ett andra sovrum.

Lidl och Penny Market ligger bara 9 km bort i Mizil (liksom en lokal jordbrukarmarknad för färska produkter) för alla dina behov. Vi ligger nära ett antal kända rumänska vingårdar inklusive Tohani, Budureasca och Lacerta. Den traditionella restaurangen på Ferma Dacilor ligger också i närheten.

Jardine Hills har miljöcertifierats av det rumänska gröna byggnadsrådet.

Great place

Weekend getaway near Bucharest

This is a fantastic getaway just over a hour drive from Bucharest. The cottage is beautiful inside and out. It is a wonderful, quiet area close to the the wine region of Bucharest. The staff is attentive and happy to help and the environment is perfect. We loved our stay in this cozy cottage and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway weekend retreat.

Wow! What a Gem!

Romania is a hidden gem - we loved it. A fascinating combination of interesting history and culture, stunning scenery, and a wonderful climate. Staying at Jardine Hills was the icing on the cake. Bryan and Mimi are the perfect hosts, running 3 boutique villas, set in the middle of their vineyard. The attention to detail was so appreciated, and together with all of the team on site, could not have done more to help. We can highly recommend booking some tours of the local wineries, and we even managed a horse and cart treck through the Jardine Hills estate. The villas provide a great opportunity to visit Brasov, Bran and Peles Castles, together with a visit to Magura to watch the brown bears in the wild, an utterly magical experience. Thank you, Bryan and Mimi, for a very wonderful holiday. We will look forward to seeing you next year - can't wait!

Jardine Hills an oasis in Prahova Romania

August 2018 was our 2nd stay at Jardine Hills. This is a Romanian Gem, set in the wine producing hills in Prahova. This a stunning location. The attention to detail of cottages is 5 star combining both a sympathetic rustic exterior in keeping with the traditional village cottages of the region, with high end interior design from Italy giving a modern luxurious finish. The infinity pool and jacuzzi are world class with stunning views of the local hills and vine yards. These are all beautifully landscaped and have matured incredibly in just 12 months. The newly built out door BBQ area, which is covered and with running water, service areas offers a fun area to get together in the evening, the small shop on sight offers an excellent selection of locally produced wines from Jardine Hills, the Pinot Noir is very good. This is all enhanced by the low key, friendly and service provided to those staying, They were available night and day for any request we had. We will certainly becoming again in 2019.

My wife and I are Americans who first came to Romania from Los Angeles in 1996. I work here as a lawyer here advising multinational clients and my wife is a former flight attendant. We have two children under 10 years old and enjoy the rustic beauty of this wine region of Romania.

Varför värden valde detta boende

e bought and renovated the main house in 2004. Thereafter, we renovated the existing guest cottage and added a pool area and landscaping. Our friends all enjoyed visiting us over the years so we decided in 2015 to build the Cottages at Jardine Hills on some adjacent land--close to us but completely self sufficient for our friends and guests, with their own equipped kitchens, dedicated internet and common pool and lounging areas. We completed the cottages in 2017 and they are ideal for families with children. We have also had friends rent the entire Jardine Hills compound (3 cottages) with several families for a week or more to enjoy an ideal group getaway among themselves. My wife and I have travelled extensively and stayed at small boutique hotels and guest rentals across Europe, US, Central America and South Africa. We wanted to create the same feeling on our property, in a rural setting but with all the modern amenities and comforts--geared towards family comfort and fun. Unlike other top properties in Romania, we are also very accessible to Bucharest, and can be reached in roughly one hour from Otopeni Airport. If you need transport to and from Bucharest, this can be arranged for an additional fee upon request.
