Absolutely fantastic!!! It was the wife and I’s 5th anniversary which is wood by the way and what a beautiful wooden log cabin to spend time together in!!! Very clean, the wife noticed the clean windows immediately, lol. Everything you need is there for a peaceful retreat!!! Quiet, comfortable and very relaxing!!

The cabin was very clean, but it was pretty cool inside especially at night. The loft was pretty low as well. We kept hitting our heads trying to stand up. There should also be some type of a motion light on the steps that comes on during the night as you make a trip down to the bathroom. TV would have made it much nicer.

We would like to clarify that our listing clearly states that there is no TV or Wi-Fi. The cabin is owned and maintained by an Amish family, and the absence of modern electronics is an intentional part of the experience we offer. We hope guests enjoy the opportunity to unplug and experience a simpler, more peaceful getaway. The cabin does have a clearly labeled thermostat for guests to adjust the heat to their comfort level, including during the nighttime hours. We regret that you were not aware of this feature during your stay. As for the loft, its lower ceiling height is part of the cabin's design and is reflected in the rustic character of the property. We appreciate your suggestion regarding additional stair lighting and will keep it in mind. Thank you again for staying with us. We strive to accurately represent our cabin so guests know what to expect and can choose a getaway that best suits their preferences.

My Brother and I stayed here and enjoyed everything. The host hade this cabin clean and very well equipped . everything from coffee, tea, popcorn, plates and cups. I even fished at the lake catching two largemouth bass. We meet and talked with Wilma when we arrived she was very kind and informative. This trip and staying at the cozy cabin was an A adventure. I had to keep an eye on my Brother he wanted to bring home there rocking chair...P.S. We never did see BIG FOOT
