The view was beautiful! Parking and check in were very easy. Was overall very clean but dated and a little banged up. In need of paint in several areas. Do not plan to watch TV in living room as the TV is too far off to the side in a cabinet to watch from the couch. We watched TV in the bedroom and found the master bed which was listed as a queen to be pretty snug for two adults- seemed more like a full size to us! We preferred a previous location we had stayed at in the Wintergreen area.

The condo is beautiful! Beds were super comfy!! Enjoyed the summer storm across the mountains and the morning views. A little hairy getting up there in the pitch black of night. The 7000 unit isn’t marked as well as the others but we found it eventually.

Amazing stay, great views

Overall our stay was great, the place had a great view and was super clean, the property managers were easy to reach as well! Two things to note i would suggest bringing a throw blanket if you get cold easily as there were no extras, also the hot tub mentioned in the comments is actually just the master bed rooms tub!

Wonderful girls getaway!

We had a fabulous weekend escape here. The views are spectacular. Condo is well appointed and comfortable, perfect for relaxing and catching up. Used the community pool just down the road and enjoyed. Hope to stay again next year!

Stay at High Ridge

We enjoyed our stay at your condo, especially the view. Just wanted to let you know that the remote for the dvd player needs batteries and the coffee maker didn’t work properly. The coffee didn’t flow out right and it overflowed. Other than that, everything was as described. We hope to stay at your beautiful condo again.

Perfect!

The pictures do not do this place justice. Sitting on the deck and reading a book was so quiet and calm and perfect. A hummingbird came up and hovered right in front of the deck for a minute then took off. It was just gorgeous. I have no idea what any of the negative reviews are about. It was clean, had everything we needed, and since we followed the directions the owners texted us we had no trouble finding it. We only used this as an overnight stop but we have already talked about going back and having Wintergreen be our vacation destination. Thanks for sharing your home away from home with us!

Good location but not communication

My husband and I stayed here in October. We had to ask several things when checking in. The information in the unit needs a serious update. The lighting in the remodeled bathroom is very dim. There are hardly any spices on the “well stocked” spice rack advertised on the site. Upon returning home I realized I left a coat in the unit. I texted and emailed several times and I never received a final yes or no that it had been located. I even told them I would arrange for pick up or have shipping costs taken care of if they found it. I think that was terrible and unprofessional and I won’t be able to give them a good rating mostly because of that. We aren’t really that picky or hard to please.

Fabulous Mountain Views

The location of this Condo in Wintergreen is fantastic and it is a very nice size for a 2 bedroom condo. We definatly enjoyed the bunnies, chipmonk, racoons and especially the birding. Lots of summertime birds including indigo buntings and scarlet tanagers, to name just a few. The dining room chairs were not well padded and not comfortable and the condo needs a little TLC to bring it back up to top condition. The towels and sheets were all brand new and the condo was quiet. We were there for the 4th of July and were able to watch the fireworks and listen to the concerts from our balcony. This is a 6 unit building and we only had 4 nights with people in one of the other units in the building besides us. Very private. Only real negative is there is no electric car charging available and the condo association left me threatening notes written on paper bags to pursue legal recourse if I continued to use their 110 outlet. Electric is the way of the future so they need to get on board if they want to rent to electric car owners. Besides the nasty bit with the homeowners association our stay was very nice.

Beautiful, clean, spacious, with a lot of light and the best stunning views! However, the master bedroom/bathroom was very cold like a fridge with a draft, although I set the room regulator to 78 to warm it up - it never did. I used all 4 thin blankets that were in the room. Second night I could not do it anymore and just slept in the living room on the couch since the living room and rest of the house was quite warm. We were able to open the key box next to the entrance door, but no key inside. We used the code instead. The drape on the balcony window is ripped off the ceiling and hanging on the floor. The hallway sink drains very poorly and gets filled up and the bathroom door gets stuck and jammed. scribble scrubbled notes around the house and in the guest book. The note about taking my trash out was quite surprising. Found it by accident in the guest book among random notes stating we would be charged $25 if we leave the trash. Yes, we took the trash out for you, but I have to let you know that the big container we found outside was locked with a chain, so yes, we left the trash by the container, since I did not want to risk that extra charge! On the other side, I had no issue washing my dishes and leaving theplace in an order, as we did, however, we as guests get already charged the clean up fee, so why do I have to take the trash out and struggle with a container outside? Sent an email 3x to the owner to get a response prior visit.

We had a wonderful time exploring the area. We did a few hikes on the Wintergreen property and in George Washington National Forest. The sunrises from the condo were spectacular.

We live in the DC area, and love Wintergreen because it's an easy, short drive. We like to hike together and make excursions to local wineries. It's nice here all year. You can escape the heat of the city to the cool elevation of the mountains in the summer and enjoy the snow, skiing and toasty fires in the winter

We have renovated, furnished and decorated this warm and welcoming condo as if we were living there full time. You'll enjoy it as much as we do. We've added personal touches such as oriental rugs and original art.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

When you enter, you will have an aha moment because you'll see the wall of windows showcasing the panoramic views. It is so nice to sit on the deck drinking your coffee in the morning and enjoying the peaceful serenity looking across the valley. Drinks on the deck in the evening aren't too bad either. You can also enjoy the view while cooking in the kitchen.
