The Bear Retreat at Venus

We are originally from Paraguay, South America, but the United States has been our home for many years. After spending a long time in the city, we discovered the peace of Venus and fell in love with the quiet, nature, and wildlife. Hosting gives us the opportunity to share this lifestyle with others, helping guests enjoy a place where they can relax, disconnect, and feel at home. We truly enjoy meeting people from all over the world and making their stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.

Venus is a peaceful rural community surrounded by nature, where quiet nights and open skies make it easy to slow down and recharge. What we enjoy most is the privacy—each property sits on more than half an acre—so you can enjoy your own space while still being close to charming towns like Lake Placid and Sebring. The neighborhood offers wildlife, fresh air, and starry nights, making it the perfect place to escape the city while staying connected to small shops, restaurants, and local culture.

Our retreats offer the rare combination of comfort and privacy in a natural setting. Each property sits on over half an acre of land, giving guests plenty of space to relax without feeling crowded. The Deer Retreat is a cozy two-bedroom cabin, while The Bear Retreat is a luxury RV with two bedrooms, 1 ½ baths, and all the comforts of home. Both include private outdoor areas with a fire pit and grill, perfect for evenings under the stars.
