Detta är en veckohyra (lördag till lördag) under sommarsäsongen. Kortare längd finns tillgängligt på axlarna och utanför säsongen, t.ex. från Labor Day till Memorial Day. Städavgift ingår i priset. Sängkläder ingår inte.

The Lodge at Birchwood Cottages at Loon Lake, Chestertown NY är en enorm modern Adirondack sjöstuga. Fullt möblerad med spektakulär utsikt över Loon Lake från alla delar av huset, med en helt glasfront. Kom och koppla av vid elden eller delta i många lokala utomhusaktiviteter. 3600 kvadratmeter underbart modernt utrymme för din nästa familjesemester eller återförening! Stugan har ett gourmetkök med ansluten matplats för stora festmåltider; fyra sovrum plus underbart loft utanför sovrummet, 3 badrum, diskmaskin, tvättmaskin och torktumlare, strålande golvvärme.

Vi har också ett rec-rum tillgängligt för alla att använda med biljardbord, ping pong, spel, filmer osv! Badområde med flytbar brygga, 25'lång båtbrygga för djupt vatten och sandstrand finns utan extra kostnad mellan Memorial Day och Labor Day.

Njut av fiske, bad, båtliv och picknick på den vackra Loon Lake eller de många andra Adirondack-sjöarna i närheten. Besök Lake George's berömda attraktioner bara en kort 25 minuters bilresa bort. Spendera tid på närliggande roliga platser inklusive Frontier Town, Schroon Lake, Natural Stone Bridge och Caves, Scenic Gore Mountain - gondolritt och Ausable Chasm! Ridning och golf finns också i närheten!

Looking forward to coming back!

We had a great stay! The cabin was clean, well cared for, and the owners were very responsive and accommodating. Beach access was a great—nice kayaks and life jackets in all sizes were provided, and the swim area was smooth and not rocky, perfect for kids. The lodge was also convenient for accessibility, with a spacious first-floor bedroom and shower, and all the bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. Just a heads-up: “pets” means one pet only (to be fair, it does say this when you read through but at first glance, it can seem like more than one). We will definitely be staying again!

Amazing view

We stayed for a winter holiday weekend and were charmed by the view of the frozen-over Loon Lake with its ice fishers and snow mobiles. The house is great! Might want to get the lighting a bit more finessed- superbright, cold lights here and there, in and outside, mess with the Cozy winter night vibes.

Wonderful White Christmas

We had a great Christmas break with our family. The lodge has everything you need and it's close to Gore mountain, if you want to ski. Patrick was extremely responsive to all our questions. Great view over the frozen lake where people were ice fishing.Definitely recommend this place for a nice vacation.

Family Ski Vacation- Gore Mt

Great location for Gore skiing, and love the lake view. Accomodations were perfect for 3 families, and the home was clean and cozy. This was our 2nd stay here and we plan to come back next year.

Wonderful Snowboard Getaway

We recently stayed at the cottage and had a wonderful time. It has a very spacious kitchen and living room area for all to enjoy. There are so many DVDs and games to keep us entertained throughout the week. Patrick was an excellent host and very responsive.

Great place

My friends and I visited mid September, it was very quiet and not many people around. A door handle broke off and the home owners were there in no time to fix it! I highly recommend this house! Great views and plenty of things to do!

Comfortable House

The house is large and comfortable with good light. The view of Loon lake is relaxing. My only negative thought would be the location of house next to route 9. The road noise is quite loud especially the logging trucks, that seem to run 24/7.

Best Place for Friends and Family Gatherings! :)

I have so many good things to say about this place. It's very spacious, very clean, and it's pet friendly. This is not the first time I booked this place for my birthday weekend :) and always had a great time staying. Plus it's very close to Gore Mountain Ski Resort where we always go snowboarding. The only problem that I have is the hot shower :( we stayed for 2 nights and the next day hot shower is not working, it was too cold to take a shower during winter lol, but other than that this place is AMAZING. This is my 2nd year coming back and we did have a great time! Thank you Patrick! :)

Great place for family

Rented lodge to house 11 people. The lodge is clean and easy to find. It has a great view with an entire wall of windows looking over Loon Lake. We will rent again in the future.

Lovely lodge overviewing Loon Lake. Peaceful location to have our family together for Thanksgiving.

Our hosts were very hospitable and accomdating. We had one small issue with the internet that was remedied very quickly. They dressed up the house with lights and a tree which made the whole event so much more special. We all appreciated the opportunity to gather in the lodge and use the game room too!

A great place!

Property was awesome - had plenty of room and everything necessary. Only real drawback was the busy road you had to cross to get to beach, but once there - Awesome! We did have an elderly family member and would recommend a hand rail off the front porch because it is pretty bid step to the ground

About the Owners: Birchwood Cottages is family owned and operated by Patrick and Margo McGowan, under our LLC, ADK Birchwood. Patrick & Margo McGowan have loved the Adirondack Park for decades and had been searching for the perfect spot to make their own in the Adirondacks. Margo and Patrick have always been drawn to the park; they were engaged in Brant Lake (just down the road) and married in Lake Placid, and vacationed in the ADKs just about every year since then. They have become quite the Adirondack groupies, scouring property and vacationing in various spots within the blue line for years and years, it was time to put down some roots.

Varför värden valde detta boende

How we came to love Birchwood: Margo had known about Birchwood Cottages for about 15 years, as she went to college with the previous owners daughter, and had visited Birchwood a few times throughout her college days. In years passed, she had always toyed with the idea of buying Birchwood – but considered it pipe dreams at best. In the summer of 2015, the McGowan’s came to Birchwood to have a mini college reunion with her friends and classmates, and it was then, that the timing was right to call Birchwood home! After a quick discussion with Art and Jill Spierre, and a seemingly short drive for Jen and Steve to check the place out, a handshake sealed the deal. The Hazelton’s and McGowan’s spent the summer back and forth to Birchwood, and in discussions with Art and Jill, and were finally able to call Birchwood theirs in September 2015. In 2020, Margo and Patrick made another leap and purchased the Hazelton's shares of the LLC.

Our goal is to keep Birchwood as a family friendly vacation spot for our loyal guests AND NEW ONES, so they too, can call Birchwood home (if even for a week or 2) for years and years to come!

Birchwood Cottages is a delightful set of cottages, and one large main house (The Lodge), settled on the north-west shore of Loon Lake surrounded by the Adirondack Mountains. In the summer the cottages can be rented by the week and include a nice sandy beach for the kids to play and swim. Our roped swimming area is easily accessible by steps that lead to a sandy gradual walk-in, and include a floating dock.

Loon Lake is a nicely tucked away little treasure in Chestertown, NY. There are multitudes of activities to do for a day trip- or never leave the beach- which ever you prefer. Full service marina located across the lake for all of your boating needs, and our large boat docks can accommodate any size boat! Winter time in norther Warren County boasts abundant activities; Skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, snowmobiling and annual winter festivals are plentiful.
