Lugnt fritidshus på skogsmark i Ouray

Njut av det bästa av vackra Ouray och den omgivande vildmarken i vårt fritidshus som ligger inom Ouray-stadens gränser, men sitter på en skogsmark med utsikt över floden Uncompahgre. Floden, och flodspåret, kan nås i slutet av vår uppfart. Poolen Ouray hot springs ligger 15 minuters promenad från vårt hus längs flodspåret. Vår matsal ser ut på Gold Hill där snösmältning skapar ett vattenfall på våren och på sommaren. Koppla av på vår främre uteplats framför en trevlig eld eller lyssna på bar-b-que och äta ute i skuggan av San Juan Mountains. Handla och återskapa i Ouray och återvänd till ett lugnt hem i skogen där hjort ofta vandrar genom gården.

The location of the house was perfect. It was right across from the river so we could just walk on the river trail in to town and the hot springs everyday. We didn’t even need our car. The rooms and kitchen were spacious and kitchen appliances adequate.

Comfortable home in a great location

The property is exactly as shown and even a bit better! The house was very clean and comfortable, and in an excellent location! The view is breathtaking, and there is the perfect spot in the front yard to have morning coffee and watch the sun come over the mountains. There is also an outdoor eating space! We saw deer in the evenings and walked the trail morning and evening! The beds were clean and comfortable. This property does not have air conditioning and it was quite warm during our stay but no air conditioning is a norm for this area and it cools off nicely at night! Overall it wasn’t a problem. We would certainly stay here again! Check in and out was a breeze! You can’t go wrong with this property.

Great place for families

Loved our stay here. It was great to be able to let the kids run outside on the property. Great views, easy walk along the river to town. Would stay again.

Great Views

We flew up for a winter trip with the family. The house was great. Lots of great and lots to do in the town and close to many other towns. The driveway can get a little slick in the winter so definitely recommend 4wd if staying in the snow/icy times.

Great Place

This place was very nice. Modern and clean along with a great kitchen and bathrooms. The views from the front are incredible. Would recommend this place highly.

Convenient location with mountain view

The property is close to trailheads, the river, hot springs, and Ouray shops, but still feels private and has a view of the mountains surrounding Ouray. It is a great base for exploring the San Juans and we would stay here again.

Comfy cabin.

We are two brothers who live with our families in Southern California. Our parents retired to this part of Colorado and we have visited them every year since then. They own an antique store on Main St. in Ouray called RB Horse Trader and would love to have you stop by and say hello.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Over the years we have been overwhelmed by the natural beauty of this area and the quaintness and hospitality of Ouray so this year we purchased this house so that we would have a place to stay for years to come. Ouray and the surrounding area has so much to offer. You can hike, jeep, and climb until you are exhausted or you can just sit down and watch the aspen shimmer in the breeze.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We love this property because it is so close to the amenities of town and yet you can also enjoy a bit of seclusion. Our property runs about 100 feet up the hill behind the house. If you hike up a bit you will catch glimpses of wild roses and deer. The dining room has windows that stretch from end to end giving an unobstructed view of the dramatic canyon walls.
