Welcome to Buck Moon Forest & Farm, an immersive nature paradise with countless acres of forested trails, ponds & streams to explore and enjoy. Property is perfect for adventurous kids of all ages 1 to 101, artists, poets, painters, writers and a couple looking for a romantic, secluded getaway in the forest.

Our 3 bedroom/2bath home was designed with your comfort, renewal & enjoyment in mind and the expansive deck with gas grill and our firepit allows for outdoor dining & toasting. Cheers!

HOME:
Buck Moon is a one-story ranch that offers a comfortable living room with plenty of seating, game tables and a small library. The formal dining room has a table to accommodate six. The tastefully appointed kitchen has a small table for two and all the supplies needed for your culinary convenience-dishes, glasses, pots/pans, coffee maker and even a masticating juicer for our health-conscious guests who like to juice!

MAIN BATHROOM:
Bathtub, rain head shower, hair dryer, towels.

BEDROOMS:
All bedrooms have closets with hangers and shelf.
Bedroom #1 - full size bed
Bedroom #2 - two twin beds (dresser)
Bedroom #3 - queen bed with ensuite bathroom & tile shower.

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE:
Outside you'll find an expansive deck with plenty of seating areas, an enclosed large screen gazebo, dining table for six and a gas grill. Space is perfect anytime of the day - morning coffee or evening cocktails, sunbathing or star gazing!

We have board games and lawn games for when you're not on the trails exploring or out and about discovering everything the beautiful Northern Catskills has to offer.

There is a firepit for roasting marshmallows, making smore's and sharing stories of the day's adventures.

The property (land) is a work in progress! We are busy establishing additional trails, look forward to bringing the "Farm" portion of the site to fruition in 2026 and hope you will visit again and again to join us on our journey as we grow.

Located close to Windham & Hunter Ski resorts, Catskill high peaks trail heads and just a short drive to the quaint Hudson River villages of Coxsackie, Athens, Catskill with the city of Hudson a bridge away on the east side of the river.

A complimentary "forest orientation hike" is available upon request and is based on guest ability and interest and can ranges from a 15-minute hike to a 1 1/2-hour hike. Advanced notice is required.

You will have the entire place to yourself. We will greet you upon arrive and live nearby so can be available at a moment's notice for anything you might need. Please contact Patti day or night for assistance!

Barn & sheds on site are off limits and used for storage, please do not go near.

The only persons allowed on site at any time during your stay are guests who are registered. This rule will be strictly enforced.

We obviously want all our guest to enjoy themselves, but important to note that this is not a "party house"; it's a home.

This is a smoke free house and property.

We absolutely love our furry friends, trust us...we do; however, this is a no pet home.

Please hike/explore carefully-be mindful of tree roots, black walnuts on the ground and trip hazards. Check yourself for ticks when back inside.
