Välkommen till Papakea! Beläget mellan Kaanapali och Kapalua golfbanor i världsklass och några minuter från butiker, museer, restauranger och gallerier i närheten Lahaina och Whalers by. Papakea är en 13 tunnland semesteranläggning vid havet med den sanna aloha känsla av Maui.

Papakea Resort har två privata pooler, två jacuzzi-talet, direkt vid stranden tillgång, Cabana, tre upplysta tennisbanor, två shuffleboard domstolar, två 18-håls putting greener, Koi dammar, lummiga trädgårdar, och 12 utomhus grillar. Anläggningen har också en aktivitet Desk. För sportentusiast, golfbanor Kapalua och Kaanapali finns i närheten, liksom bra snorkling, paddla ombordstigning och boogie-boarding. Eller ta din tid att gå på miles av mjuka sandstränder.

Vår nyligen noterade fjärde våningen 2 sovrum, 2 badrum hörn lägenhet havsutsikt med egen privat Lanai i "E" Building. Enheten har central luftkonditionering (ett sällsynt undantag at Papakea) och har även takfläkt och TV i varje sovrum. Om du vill stanna "samband", erbjuder Papakea gratis wi-fi. Njuta av en kall dryck på Lanai samtidigt i den vackra vista och lyssna på vågorna. Massor av gratis parkering (för det första fordonet) och båda hiss och trappor ligger nära håll.

I vardagsrummet finns gott om sittplatser, samt satellit-TV, DVD-spelare, och en stereo med CD-spelare. Det finns ett matbord med plats för fyra inne, samt plats för fyra på den privata Lanai. Köket är fullt utrustat med nya rätter, köksredskap, diskmaskin, kyl, ugn, mikrovågsugn, mixer, brödrost och kaffebryggare. Enheten har också en egen full storlek främre belastningen tvättmaskin och torktumlare.

Det stora sovrummet har en dubbelsäng med massor av katter och garderobsutrymme. Gästen sovrummet på övervåningen loftet har en king size säng, gott om garderobsutrymme och har en platt-TV också. Det finns två badrum, en trappa upp på loftet området och den andra på bottenvåningen. Det är en helt ny queen size utdragssoffa i vardagsrummet för extra gäster.

Alla sängkläder inklusive stora badlakan tillhandahålls.

Cheryl’s place was awesome! Close proximity to shops and sandy beaches. Condo was clean and the property management team onsite was attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend this place for a family of 4.

Perfect upper corner unit. Plenty of beach chairs and an umbrella. Great location to local shops and food trucks. Very family friendly for teens. Host was great with communication. Home well kept. We look forward to a return trip.

Perfect location and a great lanai view!

The condo is as advertised! Great location. Nice beach for swimming, condo is well kept and beautiful! Lanai view is just beautiful! AC is a plus!!! Owners are very nice and helpful. Furniture could use sone updates, but other than that, it was great!

All around great

Our family has been to Maui 10 times now and this location is one of our favorites. The property is well maintained, pools and hot tubs are sizeable, and ocean access points are fantastic. The unit gets morning sun and is shaded for the rest of the day so it stays cool. The AC worked perfectly. The sofa sleeper mattress was comfortable enough for my wife and I. The sunsets on the ocean wall were picturesque. Whales abounded our entire trip. Outside food and grocery we're within walking distance. Our entire family is already planning to come back to this spot. The hosts communicated very well. Never had any ants or bugs, just keep everything clean and you'll be fine. Appliances and everything were just fine. Again, great condo!

Family wedding weekend /two nights day

Location was conveniently located, not far from events we attended in Kaanapali & Olowalu. Unit was spacious and well equipped. A few comments - sound travels from downstairs living room couch to upstairs loft, so best not to put snorer & snorer sensitive person in this same space. Bedroom downstairs has a door so that is of help. Staircase is rather narrow and turns on the last three steps near the bottom. Need to pay attention to this or it is easy to slip or trip. Downstairs bathroom shower door does not stay closed, latch needs repair. The tall furniture on the lanai is nice, allows for great views. The property is very nice to walk around as is the path along the beach. Great views of Molokai and Lanai. We fell in love with the ABC store and deli next door. Such a great selection of local food & treats. Friendly people working in all of the places that we went.

Cute Condo with an Ocean View!

This condo was fantastic! A group of 6 friends came here for my belated birthday and had a great time. It was definitely a little tight for 6 people, with the pictures on the listing making it look a little bigger than it was (likely because of the mirrors). Cheryl was a great host and was very communicative before and during the trip. We came in late Sept and the AC was a lifesaver. The place was clean and as listed. The one thing I'd say (similar to other reviews) is that some facilities could be updated. The washing machine made an incredibly loud banging sound that prohibited us from using it - that caused some inconvenience when needing to wash towels and such. The beach chairs and such that were included were pretty old / rickety, so we decided not to use it. However, as long as the washer/dryer situation is fixed, the place was as great as it was shown in the listing!

Everything you may need is here and they really keep up with the property. Constant maintenance and clean up to ensure beautiful property whether looking out the windows, on the balcony, or walking around. Would stay again.

Paradise on Earth

Everything you need with a beautiful view

We had a great time staying at Papakea. The condo had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We felt right at home. The view from the lanai was stunning. Beautiful grounds with lots to do.

Maui Wedding

What an incredible trip! Our oldest son got married at Merriman’s. It was magical. Our stay at the Papakea was just perfect. The location was so ideal. The resort offered everything we needed…ocean, pool, hot tub, shuffle board, golf putting, a bamboo garden filled with birds, and friendly staff. Our balcony view was spectacular. Our hosts were very responsive to any questions. We were close to amenities such as a grocery store, a convenience store, a farmer’s market and food trucks. Honestly…it was perfect!!!

Paradise

The condo was just right for the three of us. We loved the view from the lanai. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen. And the weather was perfect too. On a serious note, I was glad to see the hard work being put to bring Lahaina back. Maui Strong!

Fantastic stay

We had a fantastic time while on Maui. The condo was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed spending time poolside and walking along the shore. The balcony was a favorite spot to soak in the view while reading a book. We even spent a morning making our own leis! We are so grateful for the time to spend together as friends. Thanks for giving us the perfect spot to rest and relax.

Cheryl owns a loose leaf tea shoppe in our community, and Mark is the public works director for Washington State’s first incorporated town, Steilacoom, where he was born and raised. Together we have three adult children and five delightfully active grandchildren!

Varför värden valde detta boende

In September, 2011, we were invited by dear friends and Papakea owners, to make our first visit to Maui. We were enchanted before we had secured our rental car! We were drawn by the warmth of the trades and the essence of Aloha being shared by each “local” we met. We were effectively hooked before we arrived at Papakea! By the end of our eight bliss filled days, we had toured multiple units with an extremely patient realtor, and left the island intent on saving our pennies for a down payment on “our own piece of paradise”. Our very recent purchase of E-408 is the culmination of a long held dream we have had of obtaining vacation property – we simply had not dreamed big enough until we stayed at Papakea!
