Casa Hibiscus är en bedårande studio belägen bakom huvudhuset, Casa Mimosa, där jag bor. Det är på gångavstånd till U of A och University Medical Center.
Du är 15 minuter bort med bil från Tucson botaniska trädgårdar och vår fantastiska zoo. Tombstone ligger 90 minuters bilresa bort. Det ikoniska Arizona Inn ligger 2 minuters promenad från huset. De har fantastiska trädgårdar, två restauranger och en pianobar för din njutning.
Pensionatet har en queen size-säng och en rullande säng på begäran plus fullt utrustat kök och alla bekvämligheter du kan tänka på.
Casa Hibiscus är en juvel i öknen. Det är omgivet av en 7 fot stödmur som är perfekt för integritet och säkerhet. På natten är det enda ljudet du kan höra att en coyote eller två skriker på Arizona Inn.
Detta är en fullt möblerad studio med egen uteplats och en liten liten trädgård. De flesta av konstverken på Casa Hibiscus är originella och många av konstnärerna är mina vänner. Min eklektiska dekorstil kommer från många års resor.
Det finns också en tvättmaskin / torktumlare på sidan av Casa med tvättmedel och torktumlare för din bekvämlighet.
I Tucson använder vi vårt yttre rymd lika mycket som vårt inre. Du kan se på fotografierna att det finns många pittoreska områden på fastigheten att luta sig tillbaka och koppla av. Det finns en badtunna / kallt steg för din njutning året runt samt en eldstad. Vill du laga mat utomhus? Det finns en gasgrill och utomhusbord för att njuta av de stjärnklara nätter. Det finns också en cykel och hjälm som du är välkommen att använda medan du är här.
Jag har försökt tänka på allt du kan behöva för att du ska känna dig som hemma här. Du har schampo, krämsköljning och badgel till duschen, liksom kroppslotion och resor som du kanske har glömt bort. Det finns också två plyschbadrockar och tofflor för din bekvämlighet. Det finns ett strykjärn och strykbräda plus en sängbricka om du väljer att ha kaffe eller snacks i sängen.
Köket har kastruller och kokkärl, köksredskap och är alltid fylld med kaffe och te och vatten på flaska. Det kommer alltid att finnas bagels, gräddeost, smör och konserver för dig. Jag förvarar en skål med individuellt inslagna snacks för din bekvämlighet medan du är här.
Eftersom mitt hus ligger på fastigheten, om det finns något du behöver som jag har tillgängligt, är jag glad att låta dig låna den. Njut av!

comforts of home

Everything was very clean. Our pet got to roam the yard but we also had our own private patio. Our host, Elizabeth, was just the sweetest lady. If we needed anything, all we had to do was ask. I would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely prime location

The casita was very well-stocked and the owner was extremely accommodating and generous. The hot tub is an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Tucson. Highly recommend.

Just like the listing. Elizabeth was great accommodating but not at all overbearing. Felt like you had the property to your self. It isn't large but was perfect for my wife and I. Located just on the east side of campus so anything UA related is very close.

Amazing place

The Casa Hibiscus was an amazing place to stay while in Tucson for Work/Fun for a week. From the stocked coffee and bagels for breakfast each morning to the bicycle I used to commute around, everything was taken care of. Getting in and out of the casita was simple and I could go on my own schedule. Elizabeth is an amazingly gracious host and made sure I was fully taken care of. I'll certainly be back someday!

February weather

Due to the unusually cold weather in Tucson we needed to have the casita’s heat on. The A/C unit that also provided heat would not turn off, and we were told to just unplug it when the room temperature was to our liking. It was an awkward and unsafe way to deal with the problem. Otherwise, we enjoyed the privacy and welcoming feeling around the property.

Sweet Retreat

Elizabeth has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The “Casa Hibiscus” was exactly as pictured. Loved the enclosed yard for our dog. Many areas to sit and relax. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to several restaurants. Made the perfect stop for visiting Saguaro National Park. Would highly recommend.

Great Casita Wonderful Host!

Loved the casita. It was perfect for me, my husband and pups while we were in town for a dog show. Elizabeth is quite possibly the sweetest thing in Tucson. Would definitely recommend and will stay here next time!

Home away from home...

Elizabeth's property is a wonderful retreat in the heart of Tucson. She has done a splendid job to make her guests feel right at home. Her easy going attitude and attention to amenities and details make this sweet place very nice. The Casita is a studio with a well appointed kitchen, 2 fridges, one with a freezer.The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is stocked for whatever you may need. She is next door and available if you need something or have questions. The casita has it's own covered patio with great outdoor furniture. There are plenty of other seating areas, all very comfortable. The hot tub is perfect anytime of day. It is large enough for 4 people. Great temp. and good jets. Can also be a quiet soaking tub.~ There is also a gas grill and outdoor wood fire pit. This place has a safe parking place and is close to many restaurants and shops. The neighborhood is one of Tucson's historic areas and is great to walk if you are inclined.~ Great place!~ I would love to stay again sometime..Oh.. also there is a washer and dryer which can be used by guests.

Perfect "HomeBase" in Tucson

My fiance and I recently stayed at Casa Hibiscus as we were in Tucson for three nights. This studio and backyard was heaven! We enjoyed utilizing the backyard for morning coffee, evenings in the hot tub and we even managed to fire up the BBQ for a couple dinners. The place is nicely located for venturing to downtown or just outside the city for hikes in the desert. Elizabeth was kind and greeted us when we arrived, showing us around and acquainting us with the amenities. I actually had to call as I was checking out because there wasn't a "list" of things for us to take care of upon checkout (as is so often the case). She said, just leave and I hope you enjoyed your stay!!! WOW! We, of course, cleaned up the kitchen and replaced all used items, but it was a surprise that we weren't expected to go further like taking the trash out or starting laundry. In fact, I might have left a little coffee in my cup (sorry Elizabeth!) We hope to return soon to enjoy the wonderful Casa and all that Tucson has to offer - its more than a three night visit can fit in. If you're still reading and curious what we enjoyed while visiting - I'll be happy to share: Peppersauce Caves - I know there are other caves that provide guided tours etc, BUT these caves you just drive to and show yourself around. AWESOME - check online for tips from previous travelers and you will go "off road" a little, but we took our rental car without issue. Tucson Museum of Art - plan to spend several hours if you can and enjoy meandering through the gallery. Its in the downtown area so be sure to grab a yummy Sonoran dog or pint of beer at Boarderlands brewery. Sonoran Desert Museum - plan to spend all day if you can! We didn't get enough time and went in the later part of the day so we wouldn't overheat and some exhibits were closing before the park closed. A few nice trails, zoo, caves with beautiful gems and minerals and MORE. It was a really fun time and we're glad Elizabeth recommended it to us. We're hoping to return in the not too distant future to enjoy the warmth of the desert!

Easy living!

The property was beautiful and Elizabeth goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The cottage is tucked behind the main house, but it's easy to come and go. And the hot tub and outdoor seating were incredibly relaxing. We'd definitely stay here again!

Clean comfort, privacy and value-added extras with a very personal touch.

Elizabeth was exceedingly efficient in response time, every time and accommodating to our needs. Her cheerful and engaging spirit is refreshing. She went the extra mile to help us feel comfortable and at home in every way. You can tell she has travelled extensively herself as she has carefully and generously provided for every possible situation and need. The kitchen has everything! She’s very aware of your need for privacy, or company. The courtyard is so large you feel like you’re alone and yet welcome to go to her house if you desire. We will definitely be back to stay. We enjoyed the hot tub three nights under the stars and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. An evening walk was a welcome treat after dinner too. Did I mention the quail sitting on eggs on one of the patios? … There will be more, a family with chicks to enjoy on the property real soon! Thank you for making our place to come home to feel so great each night!

A perfect stay

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Elizabeth's little casita. It is nestled inside a spacious walled courtyard for feelings of privacy and safety. The plants and water features lend a serene ambiance to the authenticity of the place. This was first time that I had traveled anywhere since Covid and I was a little nervous about safety protocols. Immediately, I felt at ease when I saw how clean everything was. Now, I am a picky person so for me to say this is a big deal! She had even put fresh water in the hot tub. I never go in a public hot tub, but I enjoyed a warm soak under the stars every single night. The place is stocked with an impressive selection of amenities and there are all the tools you need to prepare meals in the mini kitchen or to barbeque . Elizabeth is a gracious host and not overbearing in the least. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to any of my friends.
