We had a WONDERFUL stay at Whispering Pines cabin! The hosts have thought of everything! It was well stocked with everything you would need, the beds were comfy and the cabin was beautiful! We arrive to the cabin smelling wonderful, with music playing and ambient lights on. We loved the sauna, the hot tub and all the games! Thank you for a great weekend! We will definitely be recommending to others!!

Awesome property. The cabin had everything you could want and then some. VERY clean and modern. The seclusion was great for morning coffee or an evening drink. The host's made you feel at home. My family and I said the same thing " We could live here". From the coffee bar to the smores set-up, it was a complete package. The beds were nice and comfy after spending the day out and about. The hot tub was a blessing as well. The attention to detail for our stay was duly noted. For example, there was a Marine Corps flag flying when we arrived. Also, the owner became aware of my military background. When you stay here, take notice of the name on the nature trail. They named it after me when i mentioned I like the seclusion of the location. You will never find that in any host. I almost cried when I saw it. THAT is why you will love staying here. Once again, Thanks to Holly & Jim for a great vacation. We will never forget it

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay in the woods of the Michaux state forest and right next to the Pine Grove Furnace State Park. From the second we pulled up we knew this trip was going to be one for the books. We were extremely comfortable in the home and it had beyond all the things we could have needed. The surrounding areas have so much to discover from Gettysburg to battlefields, to Amish country, state forests and parks. The list goes on and on. This home is a true sanctuary with a hot tub, sauna, fire pit, plus they provide all the s’more fixings you could need, to a red light therapy mat and even fun song bowls and musical instruments to set the relaxing mood. We enjoyed peeking at all the books throughout the home as well. There is also a little out and back trail right behind the house which we enjoyed going on every morning. The kitchen is stacked with all the cooking bowls, pans and utensils you could need. We even walked in to a box full of donuts! There were little surprises around every corner. The coffee bar is packed with goodies as well.We had 3 guests that allowed us all to have 3 private bedrooms and each room has its own split unit so sleeping was very comfortable. The beds and sheets are super comfy as well. A 10/10 stay for sure!! Would absolutely love to come back and visit again. Thank you for having us.

The Whispering Cabin is like a private resort. My group used the hot tub, but wasn't able to have time in the sauna. Fully stocked from toiletries to pots and pans. The entire cabin was clean and cozy. I first booked it because it was pet friendly. My pup would have loved it here. Beds are very comfortable! The fireplace was very cozy and a great way to take the chill from a rainy damp day. We wished the weather would have been better we could have sat around the fire pit and had s'mores since there was a fully stocked s'mores station! We loved it here we are planning to make it a yearly trip!Jim was an absolute pleasure to message with!! One of the best host I have rented from!!

This was one of the best stays me and my family have had. The hosts of this cabin have been so accommodating and the words can’t even describe the hospitality given to us. We were shocked with the incredible cozy Christmas vibe this cabin had to it. From the chocolates to the s'more supplies to the amazing hot chocolate set up, this place seriously felt like a Christmas hallmark movie in real life. Not to mention all other accommodations were accounted for like toiletries, utilities, and other general items. Would definitely return and recommend.

The house and property were truly wonderful. We were looking for a secluded and quiet place, where we could be closer to nature, and this was the perfect fit. Sitting on the deck enjoying the quiet with our morning coffee while our dogs explored the yard below was so peaceful. The hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge provided much needed recovery after hiking. We were even able to have our grandchildren visit for a family dinner, some games of cornhole, and finished with the host-provided s’mores around the firepit. We could not have asked for a better stay.

We wanted Whispering Pines to be wellness focused. So we installed an outdoor barrel sauna, Cold Plunge and hot tub. We will soon be adding more exciting amenities. Whispering Pines is centrally located allowing short distances to Gettysburg, Shippensburg and Chambersburg.
