Beach sanctuary

Awesome -great decor-best mattresses-steps from the beach and restaurants-yet very quiet and peaceful-you will not regret staying here.

Thank you Joy, for your succinct review. We did try very hard to create a comfortable and stylish beach house. Since ours is not just a rental but also our vacation sanctuary we did take purchasing the mattresses very seriously....nothing worse than being on vacation and waking up with a sore back. I hope you are able to return sometime in the near future.

Absolutely amazing location, just steps to Pass-a-Grille beach and many restaurants. Beautiful views of the beach from windows and balconies. The house is modern and decorated very thoughtfully. Would give 10 stars if it were an option.

Loved It!

House is in a wonderful location in pass a grille. Very short walks to everything-views from balconies incredible. I loved that the house had a washer and dryer and was very clean. Thank you again! We will definitely be back

Great Place in PAG directly at the beachfront

We can highly recomment the flip-flop-house - we spend about 8 days with three kinds and it was extremly comfortable. There is lots to do in the neighborhood and the beautiful beach is directly across the street. Marty (the landlord) was very responsive and helpful if we had questions. We would definately like to come back soon!

BEST beach house EVER!!!!!

We've rented houses up and down the Gulf Coast of Florida, and Flip Flop is by far the nicest! The pictures don't convey the spaciousness, the comfort and the amazing views of the beach. The location is the best in Pass-A-Grille! Literally across the street from the only place to rent covered beach chairs (go over as soon as the doors open - there's only ten of then) or you can use the chairs that are at the house. The kitchen has everything and then some - even a griddle and crockpot. The beds are comfortable and the decor takes every advantage of the beach location without being kitschy. You can walk to several restaurants and bars or take the very convenient Pinellas Bayway to experience the fun of downtown St.Petersberg. The elevator makes getting the groceries upstairs so easy. The split bedroom plan allows two couples the each have their own space. There's also a first floor place if you have a bigger group. There's no better place to have a great time at the beach!

L&B- Thank you so much for the great review! I'm glad you enjoyed your time here. The house is extremely well suited to adult couples as it provides good privacy from floor to floor. As you mention, Pass-a-grille is certainly easy to get to...exit off I-275, come straight over to the beach by way of Pinellas Bayway and you're here! Also thank you for the information about the covered beach chairs for rent across the street---I knew about the cornhole games on the beach but didn't know about the chairs!

This property is one of a kind! The view is amazing! The area is very beachy and laid back! Sitting on the balcony listening to live music and eating at paradise grille was so great! This house has everything you need...beach toys and towels, an incredibly stocked kitchen, super comfy beds, well decorated and modern yet classy. Our family will be back to visit the Flip Flop house again!

Amazing home and amazing experience!

The flip house was absolutely amazing and the pictures do not do it justice! Marty made it so easy with check in and check out process! My family enjoyed our week on the Beach and the view at night from the house was breath taking! So many different things to do just in walking distance. We definitely did not want to leave and can not wait to go back!

Family Beach Week - 2 Adults/2 Teens

We loved our stay. Wish we would have stayed longer. The house was fantastic. It’s very spacious and clean. It’s in a great location with awesome views. We love Pass-A-Grille. It’s a sleepy community but that’s what we love about it. There are several restaurants and shops within walking distance along with the Merry Pier. We did a 1/2 day fishing charter on the Miss Pass-A-Grille. The crew was great. We caught several snapper which they cleaned for us and we brought back to the house and grilled. Can’t say enough good things about our stay. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks, Marty.

Fantastic house with great views and lots of extras

Easily the cleanest VRBO/AirBNB we've ever stayed at. Commanding views from the 2nd and 3rd floor porches, and just a quick hop across a not-too-busy residential street to get to the sand (and the little burger stand that was much tastier than expected) Lots of little touches made the stay very easy: The kitchen wasn't bare on arrival, so we only needed the basic groceries for meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms are roomy and make getting settled a breeze (i.e. the walk-in closet in the master). The elevator came in handy way more than expected. The main television in the living room has a nice stereo attached for movie time. All the outdoor furniture was in great conditions and very comfy . And on and on ... within a few hours we felt like we had always been staying there!

Awesome house, awesome location

My wife and I stayed at Flip Flop Beach House the week of Memorial Day 2022. The house is absolutely gorgeous. Fantastic location in the heart of Pass-A-Grille. Beach is directly across the street. Multiple restaurants are within 2 short blocks. Short ride to PUBLIX supermarket. Beach chairs, towels & umbrellas are available for use on the beach. The upper balcony is great to see out over the ocean & watch the sunsets. Kitchen is beautiful and well stocked with utensils, pots & pans etc.... AC was strong, plenty of HOT water & Large washer/dryer. Pass-A-Grille beach was beautiful and the water was WARM the week we were there. Sand can be alittle 'Shell-ly" in spots. We preferred the right/north side of Paradise Grill with the beach being deeper. Dewey & Grace were the more upscale restaurants and Brass Monkey had GREAT food at GREAT prices. You CAN'T go wrong with Flip Flop Beach House. I would come back to this house in a minute! Thanks Marty!

A quiet retreat in the heart of beach amenities

Flip Flop house surpassed our expectations. Marty left no need unmet. It is a great place to enjoy the gulf water, shelling, ( found over 100 sand dollars after a storm) dining either out or in and marveling over sunsets. The upper deck made for some great moments of people watching. We had a wonderful stay there and hated to leave ! Thank you Marty for sharing your lovely, comfortable and well decorated home !

Paradise found

This house was perfect! It is directly across the street from the beach. The view from the masterroom porch is incredible. It also had plenty of beach towels, umbrellas and chairs. It was the perfect beach vacation.

The Fabulous Flip Flop House

When we arrived in Pass-a-Grille, it was like stepping into a dream! We are from Wisconsin, and have endured an extremely cold winter. From the moment we walked in the Flip Flop House, we couldn't stop smiling! Every room had a spectacular ocean view, with comfortable, beautifully maintained furnishings, giving the entire house a sophisticated beach feel. We had been excited about our trip just based on the pictures that Marty sent us. But honestly, nothing compares to the actual house and incredible location and views! Every day we made cherished memories while enjoying the picturesque setting of Pass-a-Grille. Each evening we enjoyed our happy hour watching the magnificent sunsets from the upper deck of the house which without doubt, has the most outstanding views in the area! We wouldn't change a thing about our stay, except to have made it longer! Marty was fantastic to work with! Truly a trip beyond our expectations! Joe, Julie and Tom

AMAZING stay at a wonderful house!

This house is located in the heart of Pass-A-Grille with an unobstructed view of the Gulf. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and the balconies at sunset. This gem is perfectly clean and incredibly well appointed. Lots of room. We especially enjoyed the Master Bedroom with its vaulted ceiling. Everything you need is already there! Marty sis super responsive to any questions. We hope to be back soon!

EXCELLENT! LOCATION!

Marty was a wonderful host! She made sure that everything was ready at the house, check-in was seamless and she also sent lots of helpful information about the PAG area before we arrived. The house was incredibly clean and you can't beat the location in PAG! Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops. We can't wait to book our next trip to the Flip Flop Beach House! Don't miss out on this amazing property!

Flip Flop Beachhouse stay 2019

The property was beautiful, close to beach, easy walk to several restaurants. The house was even more lovely than the pictures on VRBO. The rooms were large and the house was well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed to help make a Thanksgiving feast for our family reunion on Passe-a-Grille (held at another location.) I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a gem. And the elevator made it even more easy to use. Thanks Marty for a great vacation.
