Outdoor Oasis:
Step onto the expansive back deck and embrace the tranquility of nature. The covered patio features an outdoor fireplace and TV, ideal for cozy evenings. Enjoy the gentle sounds of the small creek that runs through the property while lounging on the top deck. For ultimate relaxation, soak in the 7-person hot tub on the downstairs porch, which also includes a covered fireplace and entertainment center.

Fun & Games:
Entertainment abounds at Creekside Cabin. The downstairs game room/theater boasts an arcade machine, foosball table, and a projector with surround sound for epic movie nights. Our cabin is also stocked with an assortment of games, puzzles, and toys to keep kids entertained.

Nature & Wildlife:
Discover the beauty of the outdoors with the private path leading to the creek, where you can sit and take in the serene surroundings. The cabin is frequented by local deer, and you might even see up to 30 deer in the yard, some of which will come close enough to eat from your hand.

Firepit / Fireplace
Cap off your day by the outdoor wood-burning firepit, surrounded by ambient lighting that creates a magical atmosphere for evening gatherings under the stars. If firepit isn't your thing, enjoy one of three fireplaces to feel warm and cozy!

Fun House!

This is such a 'fun' house, there were so many activities to to keep 4 boys busy! Our favorite spots were the deck, downstairs patio and the nearby creek! The home has plenty of room for everyone. I think there are more deer than squirrels in this neighborhood! We loved driving to the nearby river to swim and fish. I HIGHLY recommend this home and the host is always attentive!

Staycation

Me and my family had an amazing time at the cabin. Tyler was amazing with responding fast if I had any questions throughout the trip. The attention to detail was perfect. There were so many toys, games, craft stuff to keep the kids occupied and of course they loved the slide and net. The other thing we loved so much is that it is so many places to relax. Even though we were all there together you still had areas were you could be alone and take in the scenery . The only thing I wish we had was a map. It was a little tricky finding the rec center. The resort is soooo huge ! But overall we loved our stay and would definitely come back again!

Cozy and modern cabin in prime location

We stayed at this cabin over Presidents’ Day weekend, two families with two children, each between ages nine and 12. The location is great, it is a quick drive to restaurants and downtown Elljay, as well as a short drive to other areas like Blue Ridge, which we were able to visit during our stay. The cabin itself feels very new and fresh, and it really had everything we needed from supplies to cooking dishes to extra blankets. We utilized the hot tub and had beautiful deer grazing nearby, it was such a tranquil setting. Our kids enjoyed fishing at the nearby pond and playing with the games around the cabin. Communication with the owner was easy and they were always quick to respond, it felt like they really cared that we were happy and comfortable. If you are looking for a combination of relaxing and fun activities, this is the place to go.

Creekside Cabin

Look no further for your northern Georgia vacation bliss! This place is the absolute best for families and tailors to absolutely all ages. We had infants, toddlers, preteens and adults as part of our 4 day getaway and there was incredible variety and quality to absolutely everything. There was a pac man/game machine, movie projector, football table, hot tub, 3 fireplaces (2 of which are outdoor which makes for incredible ambience), as well as superb porches for watching, and sometimes feeding, deer and this is just scratching the surface. The amenities at the rec center and nearby activities in Coosawattee like fishing, biking, kayaking and hiking cater to essentially all desires so if you love the outdoors and want to come relax in luxury after a day’s full of activities look no further than Creekside Cabin. Hosts are friendly, accommodating and have attended to the smallest details and really make it a 5 star experience. Some of the best money I’ve ever spent. Will certainly be coming back to stay again!

Everything We Could Wish For

This cabin was everything advertised and more! It's newly built with beautiful finishes, amazing eight foot doors, vaulted ceilings, and was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the main level bathrooms luxurious. The house felt very spacious, and the laundry room was conveniently located on the main floor next to the kitchen. We especially loved the hot tub, fire pit, multiple fireplaces, outdoor decks, and the deer. We fed more deer than we could count, and one friendly buck will eat right from your hand. We all want pet deer now. The outdoor lighting was pretty and helpful, and the stairs to the basement had sturdy rails. It was convenient to have a bathroom in the basement and an extra queen bed also. The bamboo forest and creek were beautiful. Though we were a group of older ladies, this cabin would be amazing for kiddos. They would love the projector for movies, playplace, adorable kids bedroom, and the creek. The cabin was close to downtown Ellijay and many wineries. We enjoyed Roo and Ott wineries and The Rooftop in downtown Elijay. The owners Tyler and Courtney are both lovely. They were helpful, very communicative, and made our stay special. We are already planning our next visit!

We live near Ellijay and look to make each stay personal and make each visit feels thoughtful, warm, and memorable. We are excited to share our special slice of North Georgia with others who value their family, nature, and togetherness.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We fell in love with this part of Ellijay because it feels worlds away — yet it’s still close to everything (just about an hour and a half from Atlanta). The Coosawattee River Resort offers the perfect balance of peace and play: creeks, deer, play areas, and forest trails right in the back, with river access, pools, tubing, pickleball, tennis, and more just minutes away right within the resort. It’s a place where our kids can roam freely and we can all slow down, reconnect, and truly unwind — something we wanted to other families to also come experience.
