Situated within tripping distance of the Atlantic waves, Bay Retreat is the perfect base for those looking for a stunning house with all modern amenities.

There are five bedrooms, three of which are en-suite and one large family bathroom. The property comfortably sleeps 10 and offers stunning open plan living space downstairs and an extremely high standard of furniture and fittings. There is a beautiful accompanying garden with decking, an enclosed terrace, BBQ and sea views.

Locally there is a small local shop, The Bay View Inn which offers good quality ales serves wonderful food. The seaside town of Bude is only short drive along the coast road.

Bay Retreat boasts one of the highest levels of returning guests and recommendations, thanks to its high standard of accommodation and close proximity to one of North Cornwall’s premier bathing and Blue Flag Awarded surfing beaches! It is important you book early to secure this holiday rental.

Please note that the property allows a max. of 2 dogs per stay and there is a surcharge of £35.00 per dog.

Fabulous Place

We really enjoyed our few days in the house. The house was clean, welcoming and had plenty of indoor and outdoor space for the 8 of us. We will definitely look to stay again. Thank you.

Spacious, well equipped and ideal location

Lovely house right by widemouth bay. Could grab body boards and be in the sea in under 3 minutes. Nice and close to Bude which had plenty going on. Highly recommended

Wonderful holiday!

A beautiful property, furnished to the very highest standards and extremely well equipped. The perfect location being just a few minutes walk to the beach.

Fabulous House by the sea

Absolutely fantastic house about 1 min walk to the Coastal Path and Widemouth Bay. We were really blown away by the standard at Bay Retreat - couldn't have asked for anything more for a week's stay. Every detail had been thought of, the kitchen was really well stocked with everything you could possibly need and there are plenty of games, books, DVD's and video games to keep everybody entertained. Lovely bedrooms, underfloor heating downstairs, great wood burner and a great open space. Would be fabulous in summer to have BBQ's on the deck with the sea in the distance. The location was great - 2 mins walk to the beach, and the coastal path (which is stunning in either direction), Bude centre is less than 10 mins away but to be honest we stuck to the local walks, The Bay Inn (very good), and ventured further afield (the walk from The Bush Inn at Morenstow highly recommended). Really is a fabulous house and the managers are great - we had a very minor issue and they had someone out within 15 mins - exceptional! Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Lovely house but not for the disabled.

Perfect location - a two minute stroll to the beach! The house was clean and there were plenty of pans, cutlery, crockery etc for ten people! The only problem was that we had asked if it was suitable for a disabled person but we discovered that it lacked grab rails in the shower and by the loo, causing great difficulty for our elderly, arthritic mother.. The bedroom adjacent to the only en-suite bathroom was not large enough for her wheelchair. It was otherwise wonderful!
