Welcome to 23 Carolina Street, one of Dewey Beach’s beautiful Beach Block homes capturing the charm of classic coastal beach living.

This beautiful home is located on the ocean block of Carolina Street. Early morning walks on the beach, a full day of sand and surf or a quiet evening watching the sunset are only 3 minutes away!

A spacious 18 x 22 ft. screened porch is great for entertaining with large seating & dining area. Five-bedrooms, three full and one 1/2 bath and additional indoor living /dining area with 12-foot vaulted ceilings, stunning hardwood floors.

We do allow up to two dogs for your stay. Pricing is $275 for one dog for one week, $550 for two dogs for one week.

Work is in progress for our NEW POOL to add to your wonderful stay on Carolina Street! We will update the listing with photos as work progresses.

Also outside enjoy a beautiful patio w/dining, sitting area and firepit or the back deck with an outdoor shower.

Relaxing and beautiful

The stay was great! The home has such an appealing aesthetic, and our time there was so enjoyable. The layout of the house was perfect. Parking is terrific - big driveway and the 2 parking passes were a bonus! Lots of beach chairs which were great to be able to use. Fantastic all around!

Our favorite rental so far!

We grew up going to Dewey/Rehoboth but moved away as adults - so every summer siblings and family come back together for a week of salt air and fun. We’ve stayed at many great places but this one jumped to the top. We loved all the common spaces available—you could have 3 different groups playing a game in 3 different areas. We worried about the small kitchen but it was more than fine. Loved how tucked away it was - birds chirping on the back porch. It was well equipped, nice decor, just a short walk to the beach. One note - the toilet in the bedroom off the kitchen is very low flow. Overall LOVED it and we will be back if available.

Beautiful beach cottage, great location

We love this neighborhood, and this home is on the beach block so it's about a 2 minute walk to the beach. The listing was accurate and the home was beautiful and very clean. Do heed the advice from other reviewers that guests staying in the king room or double room off the hall should consider bringing eye masks. One of the quirky charms of the home is the panels in the walls - they have curtains for privacy but can't completely block the light. We enjoyed the brand new gas fire pit on the patio. A very enjoyable stay and I would definitely stay here again.

First time to Dewey

The house itself was lovely
 the furnishings and decor were beautiful! The kitchen was small, but ample.. and it was definetly the BEST stocked kitchen (cookware, platters, bowls, glasses, etc) of all the other rentals we have had over the years! The separate wine fridge was an unexpected bonus, especially when keeping enough food and drink in the refrigerator! The 2 king suites were nice, especially having back deck access from the one BR off the LR. The BR with a bunk bed was very small but it worked out that we could squeeze a porta crib in there, too. The bottom bunk and portacrib were for the 2 children under 3. One thing to note
the interior lighting fixtures and all the glass windows up to the ceiling were architecturally beautiful, but not so great for promoting a darkened room for children’s bedtime. Fortunately, there were LOTS of extra blankets to do the job! The walk to the beach was easy
the location to Rehoboth an easy walk, same to the bars and restaurants in Dewey. We brought our bikes which were used EVERY day and made it super easy to get around and see things! The front patio had a good quality gas grill and comfy seating around a gas fire pit. The quality and quantity of beach chairs was good; wished I hadn’t bothered to bring my own from home taking up so much room. Be aware.. the outdoor shower is VERY secure! Our daughter (age 33) could not open it from the inside
we later just closed the door for privacy, but never used the latch! Can’t wait to go back

Great Vacation home!

This was a perfect location for a family! Home was clean and well equipped. Nice screened porch and especially on a sunny day...appreciated off street parking. Ample space throughout the home. Liked that it had 4 bathrooms and deckarea with outside shower in the back. Easy walk to beach and lake area. Beach had beach patrol which was great!

Nice house--bad weather--no heat--some bad mattresses

On the positive side, this house has a great location and new kitchen which is well-stocked. On the negative side, we had chilly weather. We do not blame the property for that, of course. We do blame the property for their lack of central heat & a/c. Instead, they have room-by-room units which were difficult to use (no instructions) and not able to eliminate the chill at night. Lastly, the mattresses in the room with two double beds are so worn out that we used them for only one night. My back still hasn't recovered!

The house is amazing -- well stocked, uniquely laid out, spatious yet cozy, short (and kid-safe) walk to the beach, walkable to Rehoboth boardwalk, etc. We had a fantastic time.

Beautiful and unique home!

The home was decorated beautifully and we loved the layout of public vs private space. It was SO close to the beach and central to both Rehoboth and Dewey which was great. It was a little inconvenient bring our own sheets and linens but overall we had an amazing stay.

Perfect vacation rental

Loved this place. The set up was perfect. We spent most of our time in the enclosed porch which was large and super cozy. I was thankful for the beach chairs since we had no room to bring any.

Great house and location

This house is as listed and is two minutes from the sea. I thoroughly recommend it. Note if you are taking dogs there is no fully fenced in outdoor area, but it is easy to improvise barricades.

This home is immaculate! The layout is perfect for adults, the finishes are gorgeous, and the location can't be beat. We had a cold and rainy week, but so enjoyed the beautiful porch with its clear coverings to allow the space to stay warm. The architecture of this home is really interesting--so unique! Will definitely return to 23 Carolina. It's our new favorite Dewey stay!!

Winter at the beach

Home was nicely equipped. Security with children is an issue as there are multiple entrances and sleeping areas are divided making it difficult to have adults on both sides of locked sleeping areas. Very close to the beach and dining options

This house is in the most perfect location and has everything you need to feel right at home. I already miss the cozy screened in porch! My kids loved being able to ride their bikes up and down this quiet street and we loved being able to walk or bike everywhere. We can’t wait to go back next year!!

Sweet Carolina is pure bliss!

Rented this beautiful home 4th of July week. All we can say is WOW! We’ve rented many homes on the Delmarva coast over the past 25 years and this one was by far the best! Great location, 2 minute walk to beach, easy 10 minute walk to either Dewey or Rehoboth and close to a Jolly Trolley stop. Perfect home for all ages. House was well stocked and very comfortable beach living. The entire process was easy. Communication between Jordan and the home owner was very good too. We met the owner upon check in, who was very sweet and helpful. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Fun for the whole family!

Couldn’t have been a better stay for my whole family. From grandparents to grandkids, we fit three generations comfortably in this awesome beach house. A short walk to the beach or the town the location is perfect. We’re already taking about coming back next year as the house was a big success during our stay.
