Our accommodations were lovely, very clean, and comfortable! The location was perfect, with the Distillery, Augusta Pub, pizza, and other spots all within easy walking distance.Rodney and Ruth were wonderful and very responsive whenever we had a question.Thank you both so much for everything! We truly appreciated your hospitality and had a wonderful stay!

Only complaint was the neighbor. Walls were thin and after a day of delicious pours at Augusta I could have done without whoever came home and started their day at 4 am. TV was loud

Misty was an absolute pleasure to host! Communication was smooth from start to finish, and the house rules were followed perfectly. The space was left spotless, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend Misty to any future hosts and would gladly welcome her back anytime!

The Charming Retreat is, indeed, a delightful, charming property. Located in beautiful, historic Augusta, KY, it is within easy walking distance of local eateries, a distillery, and the scenic downtown Riverwalk. We appreciated the owners’ concern with comfort and attention to detail when designing and furnishing The Charming Retreat. We were especially delighted to discover the guide to Augusta historic sites, which was included in their local information brochures. Check-in and out were flawless, and the owners were easily accessible and provided immediate response when we had questions. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.
