Just back from our trip to Bonaire and staying at Sand Dollar in this excellent condo. The condo was in great condition, really well stocked, and well situated for easy diving and the beach. I was so impressed with our hosts and the entire process. The process is so well organized and thorough that it made the entire experience wonderful. The communications were responsive, clear and full of details to make the trip easy. Leanne, the on-site property manager was very responsive and helpful both in getting us a discount on car rental and in answering questions as needed. Highly recommend the condo and the hosts for your next stay in Bonaire.

Good view of the ocean. Nice screened in porch. Very good snorkeling right on the property. Ladder entry into water made for VERY easy access. Condo has excellent location - not too close to downtown but not too far away. Condo was clean, well fitted-out kitchen and in general, AC worked perfectly. Interaction with owner and manager was excellent. Would absolutely stay here again.

Bonaire delight

The apartment was great and had everything we needed to make our Windsurfing and Snorkeling vacation great. We love the Sand Dollar. The proximity to the restaurants, Eddies and Bites and Breezes cannot be beat.

Bonaire diving fun

Had a great stay at the Sand Dollar. Love the location and the diving on Bonaire is impossible to beat. The unit B7 is a very nice two bedroom, two full bath unit that is nicely updated. Loved it!

Another Great Stay!

This was our third stay at this particular condo in Sand Dollar and we had another great stay. The condo is as described and it works perfectly for our family of four adult divers. We particularly enjoy being able to dive off the Sand Dollar/Dive Friends dock.

Excellent accommodation, very comfortable. Well appointed, kitchen has everything you need, baking cinnamon rolls no problem. Location can’t be beat, small semi private beach with great snorkeling steps from door. Not far from downtown and grocery stores. My kind of place. Only thing I missed was an outdoor grill.

This was a great property to stay at. The kitchen was well equipped with everything one would need to prepare a lovely meal. The back patio was perfect to hang out and play cards, with a very nice breeze. Being able to walk out to the beach was great. There was a little sandy area to enter the water. Snorkeling was great both during the day and in the evening, with Tarpons coming in to check you out. Beautiful sunsets right out the back door.The location was perfect for us. Easy to get to anywhere on the island.The only thing I would suggest, is to provide shampoo and conditioner as well as a bit more toilet paper. The rolls provided were a bit chincy and gone in two days. We purchased two additional rolls, a bit heavier than what was provided, and the rolls lasted the remainder of the week.Communication was great.Would absolutely stay here again!!!!!

I have been traveling to Bonaire for over 20 years and have even been recognized by the Bonaire Board of Tourism as an “Ambassador”. I have stayed in many different places all around the island, and have rented at Sand Dollar at least 10 times. This unit is absolutely among the very best at Sand Dollar! The location is great, the unit is updated, clean, and very well stocked. There is more than ample room to store and dry your gear on the screened in/lockable patio. The owners and the property manager were reachable and quick to respond when we needed assistance- much appreciated! The pool at Sand Dollar is somewhat dated. The pool area is tired and could use some renovation. That said, many rentals in Bonaire in this price range have no pool at all. We had an outstanding trip and hope to rent this unit again in 2026!

Thank you for such a pleasant 2 weeks. The unit was just as described. Our group has been staying at the Sand Dollar for years so we knew what to expect for the most part. This was the first time we booked a unit through VRBO. The condo is tastefully decorated and you can’t beat the location. Everything about it was just about perfect. Communication leading up to trip couldn’t have been better from the owners and the property manager. Leanne even reached out to me to compliment me on some photos I had posted. You will not find a nicer, or cleaner unit to stay at. Thank you for everything. Our larger group will be back in a few months. After that we would love to stay in your unit again. It was just that great! 5 stars!

Perfect Homebase & House Reef

This condo is perfectly situated for ALL of the things we wanted to do on Bonaire!!! We hit about a dozen snorkel sites on the island and when it was all said & done, none of the reefs were better than Bari Reef right outside the back door. I even liked their house reef better than the drift snorkel we did on Klein Bonaire. The pictures and videos I was able to take here came out great. We were always the only people on the small beach in front of the condominiums. There was never a lack of good food options nearby, but my favorite food ended up being the low cost meat pies at one of the grocery stores! In the condo, we only needed one bedroom, but the bed was very comfortable. There were fans to keep us cool and give me a bit of the white noise I need to sleep. We didn't use the TVs while we were there because who needs TV when you're in paradise!? The kitchen had everything we needed to prep a couple meals a day at home and to help keep the road cooler filled with snacks for our adventures. The open concept between the kitchen, dining and living room is perfect. The front office always had plenty of clean beach towels so we didn't track around sand. But as nice as the accommodations were, the best part was the amazing location. I would highly recommend this condo and the Sand Dollar Condominiums to anyone looking for some snorkel and dive adventure. Thank you for allowing us to share your piece of heaven right here on Earth.

Comfortable Immaculate and convenient accommodations for us divers!

This property checked all the boxes for our needs! The property manager and her staff cheerfully answered all questions and attended to our needs in a timely manner. Our accommodation was immaculate and well appointed to suit our needs and the association with Dive Friends totally made diving a breeze! We rate our entire experience 5 Star! We definitely plan to return next year for a longer stay! The Blands

Amazing location, excellent for snorkeling

The pictures and reviews don't do this place justice. The location is stunning, and there is a small beach on the property and a short swim takes you to a small reef (Bari) which has a great assortment of fish and coral. It is easy swim with very little current, you don't need fins- go barefooted since you are less likely to brush against the coral! There is a dive shop right next door. Very nice condo with everything you need for a perfect vacation. The front staff are so sweet and accommodating! I would return if I go back.

Sand Dollar is always fantastic

Nothing beats the Sand Dollar Condos for location and customer service. This condo had a recently updated kitchen which was great. Beds were clean and comfortable, kitchen had enough equipment to cook basic meals, air conditioning worked very well. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Beautiful B-7 on Bonaire

This condo is beautifully renovated with stainless appliances and it is well furnished. There is excellent WiFi, a big screen TV, CD player and loads of games and books. It was immaculately clean when we arrived. However, due to construction in the neighborhood and our need to keep the windows open and get the ocean breeze, it was hard for the cleaning ladies to keep up with the dust. The views from B-7 and the sunsets were fabulous. I highly recommend this listing and am already making plans to return.

Outstanding Location, Right on the Water!

The property was exactly as advertised by the owner. Clean, well furnished and very helpful on-site property managers. The location couldn't be beaten. Far enough out of town to avoid the craziness on cruise ship days, but only a 5-10 minute drive to great restaurants and bars. A small and beautiful beach, a great dive operation (Dive Friends) next door, and being situated right on top of one of the island's best dive and snorkel sites (the Aquarium and Bari Reef) made this location even better. The only minor complaint is that the complex's pool is pretty plain and isn't heated.

Fantastic stay

The property was everything it said it was. We used to only stay for one week now for two. The dive shop is basically in the backyard with a nice dock with shower and tanks very convenient. Parking the rental vehicle just outside the front door also just as convenient. Fresh fish available if ordered through the office in the morning for pickup that afternoon!
